I didn’t know much about the movie going into it, but I was super impressed. I really loved it. Wade and Ember probably have the healthiest fictional relationship I have ever seen! No I am not exaggerating, it was very impressive, and it made this show very fun to watch! I was actually sad when the show ended because I felt like there were so many possibilities left to explore. Wade possibly my new favorite fictional character, he is a very authentic character who is very emotional and very empathetic, and he openly embraces this, and uses these traits to improve the world around him. Ember watches as Wade uses his empathy for other characters to change outcomes for the better and she realizes this is very impressive about him. Wade is also very supportive, attentive and encouraging to Ember while she is nervous and trying new things. Their relationship grows as they solve problems together, listen to each other, and encourage one another’s talents. Hey also both gain more emotional control as they spend more time together. I loved watching them spend time together because they liked being together even though they didn’t even know how to do things together, but they figured it out as they went. I think my favorite scene is when Ember visits Wade’s family’s house that is full of water, and without saying anything he figures out a way for her to get around without getting wet, and without saying anything she accepts his help and bravely makes it work.

But I got bored one night and decided to watch it, and it honestly surprised me. Its mature, have a lot deeper themes than I expected and it got lots of just simply beautiful animation and settings. It is quite a good movie. From what I understand, the first week of its release at the theater was very weak, but it immediately made a comeback with the global release, which was 490 million, quite decent but not a huge success when you consider the theater fees, promotional budget, and some additional costs against the 200 million budget. But after it was released on Disney+, I heard Elemental suddenly explode in viewership on that platform, surpassing expectations. The reason movie critics called it a sleeper hit is less about its comeback at theaters globally but largely due to its performance on the Disney+ platform. I just thought it was quite an interesting story for Pixar. Most movie critics also blamed the film's bad performance at the theater on the timing of its release and bad promotion from both Disney and Pixar.

I would love to see more of these two and see where Ember and Wade both end up in their passions ☺️
Just watched the movie and honestly I agree with the producers, the movie was better (perfect even) without those scenes, wades with some parts missing would be weird, I don’t mind if ember wore a dress or a hoodie like in the trailer but that scene with the touching hands at the train was awful: extremely cliche and would reinforce the idea that elements hurt each other (same with the ice and fire popcorn), I would have liked to see a steam child at the end but I agree that it will be even better if they put it in a sequel, I think that the movie was better without scene of the walk in the part because the scene of them seeing the tree underwater already fulfilled that role and the scene of ember with the crystals and wade with the rainbow shows a bit of each element specialness, reinforcing how they are “different in a good way”, overall I think the movie was better the way they released without these scenes
I hope if we do get a sequel, we are introduced to new elements, such as metal (iron, gold), crystal (diamond, sapphire, etc.), plasma (electricity), poison (arsenic), darkness (dark energy, dark matter), rock/stone (which could be a new variant of the Earth element), and even ether (neutral/life element).
I really hope we don't as it is pretty good as a standalone and also because most elements would overlap in some ways with the one already in the movie
They have to continue it Bc in the end there are some drawed mini scenes and one of them is when Ember and Wade comes back to the shop and in the middle there is their child If they don't put that there, they don't have to make Elemental 2😅
So originally Ember wasn’t good at making glass sculptures but later changed it that she infact has a natural talent at it that she didn’t think much of before Wade and his family pointed how how good she was at it.
I saw the previews and I was very interested in the movie. I watched it and I fell in Love. Now I just heard that you guys took 7yrs to get it ready for the cinema. I really have to say that this is the best animated film of the year. I plan on getting the DVD as soon as I can, you guys are going to get all kinds of awards. And I can't wait for the next film, Wade and Ember have children and another adventure in their lives. Great job and I am telling everyone to watch the movie.
I think it's better that Ember and Wade met in stranger situation than just meeting at the bus. I guess this is more relatable because we meet people often in weird and unexpected situations and the case from the trailer seems to be ummmm, more like a fairytale?
It would be cool if they dont have kids either. Cause not everyone can have them. Or adoption is an option they could definitely express either way to spread awareness.
I've watched it three times in the past week and am fixing to watch it at least twice more before it gets out of theaters, lol. Loving the movie?? Guilty as charged.
I never watched the trailers but saw photos and knew some people talking about it. I wanted to give the movie a 100% watch with no real preknowledge of it. I wasn't disappointed. Its an amazing movie that made me cry at the end with The Big Bow. Respect is everything to me.

I agree with you
Imagine working on a scene for 7 years, just for it to be removed💀
If you want my opinion, Elemental doesn’t need a full blown movie sequel, just a short of 15min would suffice
Like zootopia having a show and a future sequel
Maybe a sequel way down the line like "Inside Out 2", and some shorts that help build up more of the world of Elemental in the meantime.
My fav part was honestly ''You're so hot'' ''Exusemi?'' 💀
I hope if we do get a sequel, we are introduced to new elements, such as metal (iron, gold), crystal (diamond, sapphire, etc.), plasma (electricity), poison (arsenic), darkness (dark energy, dark matter), rock/stone (which could be a new variant of the Earth element), and even ether (neutral/life element).
I really hope we don't as it is pretty good as a standalone and also because most elements would overlap in some ways with the one already in the movie
I really don't think this movie needs a sequel. It's amazing as a stand alone film itself. I think it's perfect the way it is.
They have to continue it
Bc in the end there are some drawed mini scenes and one of them is when Ember and Wade comes back to the shop and in the middle there is their child
If they don't put that there, they don't have to make Elemental 2😅
@@Roland6733pretty sure it's fanart
I hope they make a Sequel of Elemental with Ember and Wade having a child
“Ik you have a dirty mind” 💀
So originally Ember wasn’t good at making glass sculptures but later changed it that she infact has a natural talent at it that she didn’t think much of before Wade and his family pointed how how good she was at it.
I like the idea of their baby being a water vapor
I love the lil smile I really wish this was included 😭❤ 6:52
Dev: this is how i draw wade
Captions:this is how i draw weight
That’s how you know the movie is gonna be good if it took 7 years to make
It took that long to make elementals?
@brettfoshager2899 if you payed attention they had to change designs and lots of designs
Yeah,i took 7 years and...
28.3 Million Dollars
I'm pretty sure it took that much time solely because of the water and fire people
This movie is good... really... REALLY GOOD thank-you creators team and everyone else included.
Disney make a Elemental 2 pls holly shit it's cute!🥰😍😘😚😎🤓
00:9 how is wade crying without getting smaller lol
Best film I've ever watched. I'm hoping for part 2
Those are great moments❤❤
“ 7 years!?!?”
I enjoyed it so much. I was excited when I saw the trailer. Worth it!
The first deleted scene is so funny because of wade moving like a statue💀😭
I loved this movie and I want a sequel and short films 🙏🏾!!
I have watched it with my best friend and we Loved it so much! 🥰😍
Oh yes I would love to see a wedding With wade and ember I love The movie so much
when the scene where wade and amber had a vapor kid came up i immediantly thought "how would they fu#%" help pls
im sorry but why did they cut the first deleted scene showed- SHES SO CUTE OMG 😭
I had never watched elemental before
We need elemental 2 then
Yes !!!!
I loves Elemental, I cant wait om to Elemental 2
No because this movie is so cute, I don't get how it got so much hate☹️
I think it's better that Ember and Wade met in stranger situation than just meeting at the bus. I guess this is more relatable because we meet people often in weird and unexpected situations and the case from the trailer seems to be ummmm, more like a fairytale?
What i think: if ember touches water and lose a limb, cant she just grow it back? Shes madeout of fire anyways.
The movie shown us fire people get splashed out of a limb(or even cinder's face) and she ate some firewood and got better
I look forward to Elemental 2. I’ve probably watch it 10 or more times since it came out, gets me every time
Elemental is basically a love story based on racism
I was expecting sand as there child making new elements with different elements would be so awesome.
It would be cool if they dont have kids either. Cause not everyone can have them. Or adoption is an option they could definitely express either way to spread awareness.
You always bring a smile to my face! 😊
I have three theory’s of what ember and wades children might be :steam/air,lava or rock
I've watched it three times in the past week and am fixing to watch it at least twice more before it gets out of theaters, lol. Loving the movie?? Guilty as charged.
What?!
It gets out of Theaters?!
Why?!
elements don't mix: meanwhile air helping fire burn better
they don't go on a honeymoon at the end... Ember goes to study glass arts and Wade just acompanies her cause he's a great boyfriend!
Dude I loved the film, its a forbidden love story and that's all there is. That's the reason why I love it cuz it's basically a forbidden love
Loved the film. I hope there's a second!!!
I can't wait for the Blu-ray to come out! I just hope there will be a 3d blu-ray of the movie.
And come to Disney+
I never watched the trailers but saw photos and knew some people talking about it. I wanted to give the movie a 100% watch with no real preknowledge of it. I wasn't disappointed. Its an amazing movie that made me cry at the end with The Big Bow. Respect is everything to me.
I watched this movie and I loved it
