    Thank you for sharing. Crazy how many shells there are in one area. It also amazes me how much bigger,thicker, and shorter the Wells are in SC. Compared to the Gulf Coast. Their beauty never ceases to amaze me. Nature truly is remarkable.

    The shells are HUGE wow. Love the angel wings. I watch for them here in VB. Not easy to find. I have found some babies ears lately. What a great day. Thankyou

    • @inletboy
      @inletboy  10 месяцев назад

      Angelwings are seasonal here for some reasons and only on few islands. I barely find babies ears and Possibly because they are very thin and break easily but I am sure someday will find a spot loaded with them :) . Thanks for watching:)

    I’m going to find me a friend with a boat so I can shell like you do. The quahog that was wholly looks real cool if you put a small light behind it(like a night light.) And that was neat, how you showed the small whelks next to the penny.
    Thank you for explaining about our local shrimpers. You can definitely tell the difference in the taste of local shrimp and the other type. Again thank you for sharing with us. Blessings

    There are so many beautiful shells! Thanks for taking us along! Can I ask, where is this? We go to SC every 5 years for a family reunion and I would love to go here! I believe all the holes were made by a boring sponge not clams. They suck all the calcium out of the shells. The Jingles are also called baby’s feet, because if you look closely at the inside, they have what looks like a baby’s foot.

    I have not seen shells that size stuck together like that before. Why do they do that?

    • @inletboy
      @inletboy  10 месяцев назад +1

      They are only on one island and I think is the way that the wind and current blows there. The island across from them has nothing.

      Islands in Cape Romain. Most of them are close now because of bird nesting season. Few that are open are tricky to get to.

    Hi beach friend! So if my research is correct that amber stuff might be sperm whale puke! I'd love to see the big one cut in half to see the middle. Was that cylinder thing a propane tank? Looked like it had weird valves tho. Please tell us more about what you found. I totally agree about shipping out seashells to everyone. That would be a LOT of work. Maybe a give away to some lucky subscriber! 😁 Thanks for another great adventure! See yas next time!❤
