Im with you guys but this gushing praise and hero-worshipping gratitude is part of the problem. It's wild to think that Biden was the only one who could have done it out of millions of Americans and hundreds of prominent politicians and it's a shame that the notion is explicitly leaned upon by him and the party. How depressing it would be to think only one person could do something like that. It's Trumpian, almost. Biden had lost every single presidential run until Obama picked him. He got shoehorned in late and with massive support from superpacs and establishment expectations, eventually winning by the mere tens of thousands across three states and he's since been set to lose against Donald friggin Trump. Even beating Trump by a modest margin would be a huge indictment of Biden and the Dems because of how bad Trump is. He should be beaten comfortably, not barely. We need to criticize the lot that brought us to this predicament, not celebrate them.

I would never vote for a Trump led republican ticket, but that debate performance changed my opinion on Biden from "Yeah he's old but things seem to be working out" to "This is potentially dangerous". And honestly it is dangerous. There is an enormous amount of responsibility that is given to the President. Not to his staff, to the actual President. If he's having a bad night and there's a few blips on the radar coming in from NORAD that he needs to make a decision on at 3:00 in the morning...well fuck I'd honestly rather have Donald Trump making those decisions over a delirious Biden.

I did however wince at times when I saw photos of President Biden prior to the debate, and he suddenly looked very very frail in his stature and presence. I feel that President Biden’s debate performance in actuality revealed the truth as to where President Biden’s abilities are in relation to continuing his presidency for another four years. I’m still quite undecided in terms of where I stand. Should he choose to continue in the presidency and his candidacy for another four years. Whatever happens I will vote for whoever is the Democratic nominee even if it is Joe Biden. I do however worry as to whether he will garner enough support to thoroughly beat that horrific human being Donald Trump.

@@michaelharris6441 I've just heard too much nonsense come out of her mouth. There's stuff too like about her but she's made a major shift from now to 4 years ago. You like the idea of a bi-party

This speaker talks about how Trump appeals to men, but COMPLETELY ignores the way that Biden has pushed men away. No mention of Biden/Kamala’s identity politics.
