That screenshot at 8:48 is from my video and I would like to explain the context. In DST there’s a character called Maxwell who is very strong and his only downside is having low health (75). This downside actually barely matters and I wanted to get the point across by playing him with 15 health. What I interpret from what Hikage was trying to say is that 50-60 would have gotten the point across. Had I only gone that far, I wouldn’t have even bothered. So to sum it up, this person came into my comments, called me lame and made it clear they have no idea what they’re talking about. It was a funny realization that this person is a serial offender of doing that!

Worked on Ultimate Modpack for a short amount of time. I helped with the writing here and there, but the server was an absolute mess. They focused on always adding MORE rather than refining what they had. Eventually, I got a ping from them saying "You said you'd help, you didn't" and immediately banned me from the server, barely giving me the time to read the message, let alone argue my case. Guy's a bit of a nut
I'm sad to say, the original dev had some issues, while that don't excuse his behaviour, please don't take from the heart. Hope things have improved for you. Thanks for your work on the mod.
Oh my god, I was in a similar position when I worked on the mod pack, and I voluntarily left when they kept adding more instead of polishing what stuff they had.
@@fluorideinthechat7606 There was a plan from the start where there be a 4 Updates, where due to lot of complains, ironic enough about how there a lack of original content on the game to harrant to play the modpack. There also the lack of comunications with the devs and between the devs, due someone rading the server multiples times, and alts. Personally the issue for me, was the lack of communications and bad administration, because a new dev got stuck by having to do the new update completely on their own, precisely due to criticism about lack polishing. The Main Dev, has a very bad issue of doubling down, the critism over adding stuff, got them triying to remake the side stories, the criticism over lack polishing lead them to be very combative over any sharing any new idea on the server, which lead to the OP getting kicked out of the server. Ultimate Modpack is very greadiose idea, done by someone who never had any experience on this area, it shows. Glad for your work on the project, but believe, most of the issue of the project are not really related to content or polishing.

Because when I said that I beated the Undone super boss with only Rando and Buddy. (Used smoke bombs.) Under one of the Undone's update logs. He requested me to do it without them, which I denied and tried to egg him on to do it himself. (Because I was more burned out by the process, of RNG fire and Buffed Out for Rando.) Then it triggered his low tier god response. (Must have gone mad that he had to cheat, while I actully suffered a whole day to legitly beat it.) The only trait I can tie it together with him. (I can't prove that is him, but the traits tell more about it.) He also told the Lisa the Pointless, Ultimate Fix guy, some mean words when he spreaded around the patch that fixes some things. When he was told that he got the Creator's permission to do that, it just flew down by his ears. And his impulsive comments just went one after another. At that moment just report the hate speech comments and move on. He'l get the ban hammer from gamejolt eventually. I will not be surprised if that's actully him going by that username.

Get the belt, get the plague mask, get anything other than the cursed band to raise your evasion, swallow every (non-joy) pill that increases stats, you can even shove extra into buddy if she has plague mask. (I beated this sober.) Get +Fire debuff, it can last from 1-3 turns, which instantly eats up one turn, when the attack ends, even if it was the one that dealed the fire damage. Which can instantly turn it to +smothering, which you don't want to waste turns to remove it. Because the more time you waste on the super boss, the more opportunities you give it to kill you, so use smoke bombs and the +Blind to boost your chances, along with smelly nuggets. Having Rando get the +Buffed up, is also the key, but is also random based along with the +Fire. The +Fire debuff you want is the one that last 3 turns. Which will show up as 2 turns, if you have it as that, waste the turns to Blind the hoard or increase your evasion by using nuggets, DO NOT USE FIRE. I'l explain why. Dude skill issue? I killed the superboss first try with cursed band and scavenge spam before I touched the judges. Pacifist run except mutant XP. No throat stab. No Oswald. No drugs. I then went without using firebombs/dyna (even the 3 free ones before the fight). Just buff stack (tablets & medicinal smoothies) and always make sure to dodge one turn before the buff runs out to get that sweet doubled AGI. Spam double cut whenever bleed/dodging is active. Spam soda smoothies and keep vigorous (extra evade). Make sure you're vigorous/already have Buddy's mask on by the time the undodgeable kill moves happen which is around 25% HP. Making Buddy wear target items (especially the bright poncho for blind chance) can help Rando be on the offense more. This is a very long way of saying skill issue.

Also cursed band dodge + DOT is a strategy I used to cheese joy mutants so I'm not sure if this is an actual difficulty modifier.

Worked on Ultimate Modpack for a short amount of time. I helped with the writing here and there, but the server was an absolute mess. They focused on always adding MORE rather than refining what they had. Eventually, I got a ping from them saying "You said you'd help, you didn't" and immediately banned me from the server, barely giving me the time to read the message, let alone argue my case. Guy's a bit of a nut
aw damn.
I'm sad to say, the original dev had some issues, while that don't excuse his behaviour, please don't take from the heart.

Oh my god, I was in a similar position when I worked on the mod pack, and I voluntarily left when they kept adding more instead of polishing what stuff they had.

There also the lack of comunications with the devs and between the devs, due someone rading the server multiples times, and alts.
Personally the issue for me, was the lack of communications and bad administration, because a new dev got stuck by having to do the new update completely on their own, precisely due to criticism about lack polishing.
The Main Dev, has a very bad issue of doubling down, the critism over adding stuff, got them triying to remake the side stories, the criticism over lack polishing lead them to be very combative over any sharing any new idea on the server, which lead to the OP getting kicked out of the server.
Ultimate Modpack is very greadiose idea, done by someone who never had any experience on this area, it shows.
Glad for your work on the project, but believe, most of the issue of the project are not really related to content or polishing.

The only trait I can tie it together with him. (I can't prove that is him, but the traits tell more about it.)

I was instantly hovering the finger on the F12 button.
So instead i'l provide what the process™ is.
Get the belt, get the plague mask, get anything other than the cursed band to raise your evasion, swallow every (non-joy) pill that increases stats, you can even shove extra into buddy if she has plague mask. (I beated this sober.)
Get +Fire debuff, it can last from 1-3 turns, which instantly eats up one turn, when the attack ends, even if it was the one that dealed the fire damage.
Which can instantly turn it to +smothering, which you don't want to waste turns to remove it.
Because the more time you waste on the super boss, the more opportunities you give it to kill you, so use smoke bombs and the +Blind to boost your chances, along with smelly nuggets.
Having Rando get the +Buffed up, is also the key, but is also random based along with the +Fire.
The +Fire debuff you want is the one that last 3 turns. Which will show up as 2 turns, if you have it as that, waste the turns to Blind the hoard or increase your evasion by using nuggets, DO NOT USE FIRE. I'l explain why.
Once the fire debuff shows up as having only 1 Turn left, use +Fire items or Rando's skill to apply fire on the hoard, it will reset the +Fire counter if it manages to set it on fire. And in 1 out of 3, chances you can keep the flame going for the whole fight! (That's why I said that the RNG threw me under the bus.)
Without stopping, but that's literally relied on RNG. And don't forget you have to tank lots of damage from the super boss and debuff it so that it will miss often.

Dude skill issue? I killed the superboss first try with cursed band and scavenge spam before I touched the judges. Pacifist run except mutant XP. No throat stab. No Oswald. No drugs.
I then went without using firebombs/dyna (even the 3 free ones before the fight). Just buff stack (tablets & medicinal smoothies) and always make sure to dodge one turn before the buff runs out to get that sweet doubled AGI. Spam double cut whenever bleed/dodging is active. Spam soda smoothies and keep vigorous (extra evade). Make sure you're vigorous/already have Buddy's mask on by the time the undodgeable kill moves happen which is around 25% HP. Making Buddy wear target items (especially the bright poncho for blind chance) can help Rando be on the offense more.
This is a very long way of saying skill issue.

Lisa the undone fights were too easy besides horde. Like I think I'm actually just going to give buddy every single addiction on my next playthough to make the game harder no scavenge abuse ofc. Also cursed band dodge + DOT is a strategy I used to cheese joy mutants so I'm not sure if this is an actual difficulty modifier.
