In another lifetime, when I was an on air personality, I got to meet Corey Hart and Rick Springfield before a show in Lake Charles, La. Afterward the station threw a party and Corey and his bandmates came to it. My son, who was six at the time, climbed in Corey's lap to "feel his hair". Next day we had to take him to get his own Spikey Cut!
He's a cutie indeed his spiky hair is absolutely perfect he looks so great for 60 a great guy absolutely handsome I watched this episode it also had fellow EMI America recording artist and my first MTV crush John Waite

@@spoondaddy80 In his autobiography, he wrote extensively about the drug use he saw growing up (his father's in particular) and within the music industry. He was very, very driven to succeed in music, and vowed he would never screw it up by using drugs. He saw first hand what it does to people. The songs on his first album, "Peruvian Lady" and "The World is Fire" were written about his father's drug use and the impact it had on his family. His fans know it is something he feels very, very strongly about. So, as a fan, I get a little defensive when people assume that if he is a musician of the 80's or happens to scratch his nose, he must be on drugs. Couldn't be further from the truth.

Mine too the very first time I heard.
I thought he was all drugged up and died?
Ditto - love that song, one of the first ones I learned on my bass...

Sex, crime.
The year clearfield wheat was genetical modified and introduced... Everything went down hill after that..
Great video clip! And to this day he's still such a down to earth person and energetic performer.

Corey Hart was meant to always become a singer. We are blessed to have him sing for us.
Seems like a nice guy, and he has some great songs.
Corey Hart and Corey Haim were my middle school crushes 💕
I had the biggest crush on him growing up. Beautiful voice.
me TOO!!! and I agree...very beautiful voice indeed! :)
Imagine that, the singer actually writes his own songs!
Lol 😂
actually way back in the 80s it was very common for singers and musicians to write their own music, in fact most of them did.
