Hi Sammy, I have a conflicting?. Some instructor's teach that the main bar's should follow through into the cantilever whilst other like yourself teaches not to. I want to know what's the deference & why.
Why need crank the bar for tension reinforcement..better to provide bottom and top mesh..it will workout cantilever reinforcement as well as temperature reinforcement

Sammy thanks but some say that distribution bar of counter lever should be place at the bottom as the position bending moment is at the top ?
Confused. Main bar will not extend to cantilever and only crank bar make the mesh with distribution bar. Am I right ?

It's optional as long as you provide bent up bar and extra bar the tension is at the top not bottom
