Exactly. Not a single boring one.
It's perfect

Don't worry, money never last, numerous artists who stopped all activity came back on stage for the $ look at System of a Down or Guns N' Roses or Rage Against the Machine...
long ass drives in the night. all your friends are in the backseat/passenger seat dead asleep. you've got Daft Punk playing low on the stereo to keep yourself awake. after an hour or so of driving fidgets awake. "...hey, is this Daft Punk?" they inquire with a sleepy rasp. "Uh, yeah" you whisper, careful to wake anyone else. "...fuck yeah" they reply, squirming back into a comfortable position to fall back to sleep. you drive on into the night, feeling nothing but the road and the music and the void outside your car. there is nothing more theraputic in the world.
Please write more of these
Jëff Cööpër I'm very late but please write more.
Jëff Cööpër that was so satisfying to read I can't even explain why

Can't stop imaginating Voyager on your text :)
It's a strange feeling: I've only just got into Daft Punk and I've been listening to them for a few months. And this album, Discovery, makes me feel nostalgic. Especially this song. And I have no idea why.
Phlosion It's the exact same thing for me
Same here
It has that childlike wonder feeling to it. That's my best guess. But I feel it too.
It's the magic of Daft Punk is all I can say. No other band even holds a f***ing candle to it, and I'm looking at you, Beatles and Queen!!
this has been my favorite song of all time since I heard it
This a perfect chapter nine when you close your eyes and dance it without specific way and slowy... you are shining!
This song is my "the world sucks so much ass, but im still moving on" song

Thank you for marking a beautiful stage in my life❤️💔They go like legends And they will be remembered as legends.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING DAFT PUNK!!!❤️

We'll never seen daft punk live together again but hey their send off was a great message to their fans tho
This has been my spirit song ever since...
bon voyage Daft Punk! ce fut un plaisir
Came here from comments under Justice tracks
I am not regretting it
I liked it even more when i imagined as someone wakes up on Saturday in early 2000's, he sat in front of computer, plays this song on speakers, and then plays old games that were popular back then, specifically HLDM
Bass is so funky also

I imagine humans in a thousand years traveling through space listening to this while in the spaceship. That's just how I picture this song.

Yeah, Elite dangerous is about as close as we have at the moment, and i can confirm that DP's music makes for a great space exploration playlist.
Humans will be long gone by then, as we will have driven ourselves to extinction. Perhaps aliens are already listening...

I mean it’s called “Voyager” which is also the name of our interstellar probe, so it’s definitely fitting, kickass song anyhow
Legends say that if you hear this song with headphones the bass begins to comfortly hug you.
And the guitar rapes your right ear
True. Its happening to me right now!!!
Its kinda true, but not exactly "hugging". More like wanting more attention.
Being the only person in the room who gets it… till you look over and catch the gaze of someone you didn’t know who does.

You havent listened to thundercat then. No offense i came here hyped. This bassline is dead. It doesnt thump. No life..
@@cerberus1166 you can appreciate both. I love thundercat but he just has a different style of bass. That style wouldn’t really work in a song like this. It’s not that it’s dead it’s serving it’s purpose.
@@cdfactory kinda. But ive never understood the reason for daft punk getting half the listens they do.
This song is perfect to represent the farewell of Daft Punk, it leads you to think how many albums they have made, collaborations, even participated in Tron, they are simply unique, irreplaceable, and it is good that they leave, because they leave their legacy as well as we have: beautiful, clean, perfect
This is incredibly right and really wise. And the best in this is that u have patrick as a pfp you are a certified chad 😌
it actually sounds like a perfect ending theme for anything

Is this not one of the most masterfully produced songs Daft Punk have ever made. I dare someone to listen to this and not be put in a good mood.

Daft Punk's magnum opus.
Voyager is the best example of what Daft Punk was, and what their legacy was.
The earwormy, gentle synths mesh perfectly with the funky bassline that never stops grooving. It invokes so many emotions in me, specifically, but at the same time makes me drop everything and dance.
Furthermore, a few comments down, someone asked what people could see when they closed their eyes and listened to the song.
Every single answer is different.
I love this song so much that it hurts to see Daft Punk go.
Thank you, Robots, for everything.
Thank you for the countless memories I have of my older brother showing me your songs.
Thank you for the memories I have cherished of dancing to your hits in small house parties.

This album is full of masterpieces. Gah.
Nothing but masterpieces. ;D
In terms of simplicity of structure, this song is so basic, but so aurally nourishing it still amazes me today. Light years ahead of everyone else. Can't say that now though.
And yet, it also has this feeling of nostalgic synthetics to it that was instantly there this album was released. It's futuristic and nostalgic and evergreen at the same and at all times.
hey so i know its been a year and all that but _Did you just use light year as a _*_time_*_ measurement?_
"simplicity of structure". It means that the structure of the entire song is simple, even when instrumentation is awesome, spacially the bass line as you mentiond.
@@mex9055 Hey, so I know it's been four months but _it's just a figure of speech._ And it's not a time measurement. Think about it this way; if music production were a race, Daft Punk would be _light-years_ ahead of the competition.
I was with you until "nourishing" It's a song, that's it, a song! lol
The worst part of this song is that it ends.

This is my actual favorite song, it was there for me in a lot of depressive moments. I close my eyes while listening to it and I imagine myself in outer space flying nowhere.
Everty time when I listen to this album "Discovery", I think of the year 2001. This is so funny but when I I was a teenager and heard adults telling me that "the older you get, the more often you listen to songs from your teenagehood", my first thought to this was "naaah, can't be!". I'm 31 this year and yes, from my current position I can assure that the album "Discovery" will always be my favourite one! I think so far, during the last 5 years, I've listed to all songs from the album thousand times. Thank you for my great childhood and teenagehood, Daft Punk! Thanks for your great songs! Only because of you I went to the cinema to watch the film "Tron: Legacy", to give your music work a tribute. And all of my friends, who love you as I do, did the same, they went to watch that very film only because of you, Daft Punk!

I took a trip recently in my Toyota Yaris at 2am, always clear on the traffic, but with Daft Punk music in the background. You have no idea what a legendary feel and vibe this trip was with these chill out/downtempo songs by Daft Punk.

Voyager, to be honest, has got to be my favourite Daft Punk songs. Daft Punk have made many insanely great songs, but this has got to be the best one in my opinion, the steady beat, the synth + the chords, and not to forget the kicker bass line.
