The codriver in his racing suit on the side of the road in gesturing like “what’s the matter?!” at the police officer after being stopped for hanging out the window of a racecar with an entire wheel missing 😂😂

This and "SAMIR, YOU ARE BREAKING THE CAR" are my two favorite moments ever in the history of motorsport. This one cracks me up because of him arguing with the police and earning them a whole ass escort. My man used all his skill points on speech and charisma
Only thing that's a shame about Samir breaking the car is - it's fake. It's a voiceover added after the fact, they're not actually saying that in the car. :(
are there any modes where theres 2 cars racing each other? nonetheless i agree its really entertaining to watch , this is what i want to see from motorsports
Reminds me of watching McRae when i was a kid, the time where he rolled the car 7 times, realized the engine is running, steering is straight, so he took off back on the course and still almost won it, was off by 1.04 seconds 😂 legendddd
To me, Loeb is the best “pound for pound” driver ever. I once saw him in a fun contest on what basically was a beer crate on wheels, and he destroyed the competition who all had been training hard on that vehicle.
Yet it was a common practice up untill early around 2010 that rally cars frequently travelled to service on 3 wheels, with co-driver on the side, or under the bonnet and that sort of thing. There were cases when they didn't even try counterbalance, just blasted to the service without a wheel 140kph on the clock, and arrived with floor and suspension parts glowing red from friction.
@@piotrmalewski8178lol i remember the first time I saw a codriver under the bonnet with the car moving i thought for a sec the driver hit a spectator and kept going 😅
Most famouse WRC was for me when McRae made that famouse roll in his Focus RS. Dude was mental and i loved him for that. What a legend and what a driver.
I remember seen that live on live tv pretty epic for the co-driver lending his life to his driver to balance the car just to get back to the service station. Give credit where it counted for something
Opened this short out of curiosity not at all expecting to recognise the clip but ended up remembering coming across it way back so now totally in agreement it may well be as famous as the caption proclaims it to be 😂👌🏾
Fun fact : In 2019 the DSS ( Driving Skills Scale ) was changed from "average to pro" to " average to Loeb ". Since then only one driver managed to reach the "Loeb" level, and it was Sébastien Loeb himself.
For me it will always be Makkinen smashing his Evo on the right rear, then Sainz's Corolla dying 100 meters from the finish line, that was a season ender for all time.
I still remember this one crash from the late 90s early 2000s. It was on a mountain side and the car almost went off a cliff but there just so happen to be a post sticking up about road height on the cliff. The car somehow perched up on that instead of failing down the cliff.
Ohhhhh that was absolutely badass!!! I saw that live on tv and went madness around the house hahahahha That guy just destroyed every asphalt stage on the calendar that year.
For me it would be that time when Loeb brushed past a cop at full speed who was in the middle of the road, only to explain later that he saw him and kept pushing anyway because he calculated that he had enough space 😂
You just know that part of the wheel broken off has ended up as someones show piece that they show people and tell them where it came from for them to not believe them 😂

Ironically Loeb pulling stuff like this and still getting good results is what brought the change.
