- Hello everyone! Welcome to episode 2 of the series Single Player Reviews... a show where I use my totally (not) legit knowledge of culture and entertainment to review manga, anime, cartoons, movies, comics, video games, etc.
Now, obviously folks, RUclips is a huge site and it already has a vast number of these kinds of videos. That's why I am trying to offer reviews for series that you have likely never heard of! The smaller the crowd reach, the better. Won't always be the case, but I'll do my best!

This was my favorite "obscure" Manga
in grade 8 I moved to a new school with like 2 months left in the year so I spent alot of my time in the library,
I spotted this one and it hooked me immediately
Now I'm 20 and this memory just popped into my head xD
I loved this as a kid, I wish they’d start it again, even if it’s episodic or if it gets a story, I’d just love it
I'd take a reboot - or just more of the art. Even another story in the same universe would be awesome.

I found the first volume of it in my school library today and just finished it a few hours ago. I'm going to have to see if they have the next one. I kinda stopped watching in the middle of the video to avoid spoilers, although I did hear some... Oh well..
Ack sorry for potential spoilers!! It's so good I wouldn't worry too much - I left a whole lot to discover. Hope you've enjoyed the series and been able to find the rest of them!
i really like how instead of numbers for dates you just show things that were airing at the time.
Thanks so much! I like that part, too. Honestly how I remember things. I am way better at remembering when things happened than actual physical dates.
I founded about this manga in a forum when a guy compared it to Made in Abyss, saying they are rather similar. Yes, indeed they are, even though +Anima isn't such a violent story (MiA is a seinen for a reason), they both share a journey in a dangerous world, a cute/beautiful art stile and compeling characters.
*(+Anima is a very unknown manga by the way)

This was my absolute favorite childhood manga to read
I bought the first volume at my school book fair and I loved it. Unfortunately I lost it and had forgotten about it until recently and I'm glad I wasn't the only one that liked it.
Totally awesome that you had manga at your school book fair! Best we had were the usual graphic novels. The Bone series was pretty good. But I just had my trust Shonen Jump to show me the new manga.
Found the first issue in highschool fell in love cause I really just really liked it.

I would LOVE to see an anime of this show! Good on your school for having manga at a book fair! All mine had was way too many versions of the various Harry Potter books lol

I’ve read up to volume 3 and can’t wait to read the other 7.
As a child going to the school’s library, issues 2&4 of this manga were pretty much the only manga the library had. I’d rent those two books from the library and read them constantly, and I loved it.
Now I’m on a mission to acquire all 10 issues of the manga and read the series. I purchased issues 1-6 off of eBay two days ago, just gotta wait for them to arrive so I can start reading it ❤
+Anima was my first Manga series ever!

I can honestly say I've never heard of this manga so thank you so much for making this! I really love your review series! ;w; also the opening was seriously my life as a kid XD I used to draw digimon thinking they would become real if I wanted it enough bahaha

Single Player XD LOL!!! Terriermon is totally real! I would design my own digimon (okay 10% my oc and like 90% based off of Kyubemon) basically reinacting the episode where Takato drew and created Guillmon ;~; Oh imagination how I love thee XD
Glad to meet a fellow digidestined. Very seldom do people even get digimon references. You ought to do a live digimon designing video sometime!

I did the same thing once--the Digimon I made was a bird Digimon named "Beakmon". His power was shooting a bunch of tiny beaks out of his...beak...I WAS LIKE TEN-YEARS-OLD, GIVE ME A BREAK XD

i remember buying volume 2 and 3 from my bookfair when i was in the 5th grade (am 26 now) , still own those 2 volumes till this day
