Well I'll be honest at first I thought what a load of bull , but hay I got some of these flys on ebay, I'd forgotten that I had them .
What I thought was going to be a rubbish days fishing turned out to be one of the best fly fishing sessions I've ever had after trying just about every fly in my box ,I came across one of these, well I caught 30 yes 30 all on one of these little beauties thank you for putting this video on utube
Just wanted to say thanks for the pattern. Had a great day at the local fishery, caught a few on these when nothing else worked. Handy to have in the box.
Good man Aaron, always handy to have. The sockeye Color and pink is worth having as well especially around the colder months
Well went fishing again, you know when your fishing at a water and everyone is catching hear and there , and they is all ways one angler that stands out from all the others , catching more than any other angler well that was me on Saturday, average catch for 8 hrs 7 to 8 , I only had 30 plus ok didn't get all of them on KILLER BLOB but most of them was on the killer blob thanks once again had a cracking day

andy rollins fishing Hard to find the eggstacy stuff here in the US. I tied a variation of the fly with glo bug material and fished it static under an indicatior like you mentioned. It caught fish.

Børge Alexander Østvold blue quill also had the stuff. I tied up a bunch. Sunburst has been fishing the best lately.

When I fish the eggs sometimes when a fish takes the eggs but drops it again I give the line a good twitch and when the fly is dropping again I get hammered
Hi there, is it barbless you use? Any Kamasan B160 hooks I look for online, all seem barbed.
I just crush the barb with the vice when tying and the hooks come out The fish easily.
Is that bead chartreuse or is it the video image, doesn't look yellow?

What fishery did you test this fly on ??
have had sucess on them on all the stocky lakes mate, coming into buzzer and dry fly weather now. had 115 fish in two days at birchwood this weekend on dries and buzzers.
The purists hate blobs! Lol I use an indicator sometimes and get the float fishing comments thrown my way. But I have often found in life people simply do not like things which are effective
BarryBigPlumsFishing always the case although they will happily fish 5 inch snake scarfs .
Seem to find it works well with 1 to 2 week freshly stocked fish then they switch off it all together
