Dymond is a natural beauty. Very aware and loaded with potential. I admire that she, with help from her mom, does care for her child and has stayed away from hard drugs. She has goals and I pray she will soon act on those. She deserves much more than what she's doing now, and it is not worth it to put your life on the line everyday you go to work. What do these interviewees have in coming? Complex PTSD from childhood. If we want to make 🇺🇸 better we need to help kids from ages 0-5. I believe in the future we will start to focus on better childhoods.

@@alexustaylor9535 My mom did all kinds of things when she was younger that she wouldn’t do now, and so did I. You never know for sure unless you lived with someone. Not saying you didn’t. If you did, then you probably know. Everyone thought my parents were the squarest, but they weren’t, especially not my dad. He was in a gang, and dealt drugs. I had close relatives, who were shocked that he even drank.

She is proof of the nature vs nurture argument. She's smart but wrong deck of hands delt to her. My bf had a similar upbringing and I am super proud of him for choosing a different route. Thank you Mark for giving these people a platform. We can all learn and be extremely grateful.
My kids were the same way. I always made sure that if they had an interest, they got to take it as far as they wanted to.

Same age as my son. Just yesterday, I just went to an open house with him to get started in his life after trying on his own for 2 years and floundering. We are all very excited for his future as we thought he might continue couch surfing at friends and doing whatever. I’ve been judged on this site before for being a bad mom and whatnot, but everyone has a story and we cannot choose to whom we are born. We all have different life situations that influence a person’s survival skills; some are completely inept, some are afraid to use or unaware, or some are lucky to never have to use or acquire these skills.
My gut feeling is that
that Dymond has the gumption to pursue whatever it is she sets her mind to bc she already demonstrates self-discipline. Perhaps not status quo, but definitely disciplined with what is important in her life.

Get out the game Dymond! You are a boss and you can make good things happen! There are school grants where you can get paid to go to school! Talk to a college advisor. Being black and a single mother along with other adversities could get you lots of free money. States are allotted so much money for people struggling who want to be in school full time. A lot of people just never ask so they never receive these benefits. A lot of schools have free daycare too.

Mark do you notice how frequently nearly all of your subjects ask you to repeat your questions? Sir, it’s your very low tone coupled with a quick staccato. Maybe raise the volume a notch and slow down a bit because it’s not just your subjects often missing what you’ve said.

That’s who made me go back…my baby! I was also afraid to take out all those loans before I knew what I wanted to do. I kind of wish I’d just taken anything…I just finished a certificate program, and I could have a law degree, medical license, AND a PhD, by now! I know what’s involved, and have seen other people I know do it.

She's way too smart. Smart enough to get trapped in the game. She appears to know how to work the game as she's in charge but smart is powerful and she could become a madam if that's the name. I really hope she finds a way out of this because she's aware of the dangers. She could easily get out now and work hard to get to what she really wants to do.

This is my concern for my own sons. There father and I are divorcing and I am worried about how it’s going to affect them. I am taking counseling and trying to do everything right but sometimes it’s never enough
Unless there’s physical abuse or threat to someone’s life, there’s no reason for a divorce. It’s very selfish to have a divorce because it really affect the kid.

Meh, 90% of being an adult is dealing with childhood trauma that’s why therapy is important. You have your own life to live and if you want your kid to grow up happy they shouldn’t see you in a dysfunctional/unhealthy relationship and think it’s ok when they get older. Just remind them it’s not their fault and they’re loved, it might not seem like a lot but it is.
@@backagain5216 Good morning from a fellow Nova Scotian! I agree. Divorce is not easy no matter what the reason for it is, and there are many circumstances that make it necessary. It can’t always be a fixable situation, both people want to have to be willing to make it work.

@@mwlera4765 Not that many, depending on the state, but it’s certainly not impossible. I found out the CD treatment field is open to people with a non-predatory record, the trades, and starting your own business or NGO is an option, if you can get the funds. I have no doubt she can do that! Where I live, a prostitution record bars you from human services, child care, education jobs, health care, working with anyone vulnerable, ill, or disabled, etc., for 15 years, unless you can go into business for yourself, and it can be hard to get supporters. They put you on a background check list with predators. That makes no sense! If someone is paying for a woman’s services, they clearly want to be there. Human service employers are very open to people with a past, in many states, though…just not mine! I think private employers and NGOs have more discretion than others, but if you need state licensure for work with people, you’re usually out of luck. I do know someone who got advocacy from a women’s program, and was allowed to take the bar and practice law. There are more and more programs available, and expungement programs to help women have a chance. When people talk about “street people who never change,” that’s often because they don’t have other options, with a record! That’s why it’s a bad move to prosecute people who aren’t hurting anyone, except maybe themselves, like sex trade workers and people who possess drugs for personal use. IMO, just offer them real help! People usually want a better life, if they’re doing something that’s dangerous for them. I didn’t catch any mention of a record…just speaking generally. Thanks for being supportive of her goals!

When a person can take accountability for their actions and take the necessary steps to do better- that’s a great person. She’s providing a life for her daughter and envisions a life with even more stability. Frankly, this facetious and judgmental ass comment says far more about you than it does her.

After getting married it dawned on me men try to get small talk, giggles, and reactions from women for free, not just money but no intentions of being a boyfriend. They want ego boost for free but it cost women time.
