The New York Knicks have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NBA as of recently as we approach the 2024 NBA Playoffs. Even despite missing two of their top players due to the OG Anunoby injury to his elbow, along with Julius Randle injury and his dislocated shoulder, Jalen Brunson is carrying this team to success absolutely no one could have predicted, also in some of the most absurd ways possible.
To start with the Knicks offense, their strategy is predicated on the heavy use of guards in all of their rotations. And aside from Jalen Brunson’s career year in 2024, with the play of Miles McBride, Josh Hart, and even Donte Divincenzo breaking Knicks 3pt records, when you couple all of that with the elite play of Isaiah Hartenstein, this offense is humming at the perfect time under Knicks HC Tom Thibodeau. And that’s not even mentioning new acquisitions from trade in Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks, Precious Achiuwa, and even waiting for Mitchell Robinson’s injury return.
Then there’s the Knicks defense, which continues to see itself rank amongst the best in basketball, again even without some of their best defenders in OG Anunoby, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, etc. So with all of this considered, if the OG Anunoby return along with a cleared Julius Randle is on the horizon, NYK might be heading into the 2024 NBA Playoffs in the best position they possibly could.
This video includes 2024 New York Knicks highlights, also including topics like New york knicks 2024, knicks highlights, knicks news today, knicks injury news, donte divincenzo knicks 3pt record, knicks vs pistons highlights, knicks vs nets, knicks vs raptors, og anunoby news injury, julius randle news injury, jalen brunson highlights, knicks, deuce mcbride knicks highlights, knicks offense highlights, knicks defense, knicks nuggets, knicks highlights today, knicksfantv, knicks film school, knicks live, knicks game, knicks espn, knicks first take, knicks undisputed, knicks post game, knicks interview, tom thibodeau knicks interview, knicks reaction, nyk injury news, isaiah hartenstein knicks highlights, josh hart knicks, jalen brunson interview, divincenzo 11 threes, divincenzo 40 points, divincenzo interview, knicks breakdown, ny knicks, nyk knicks, julius randle knicks, og anunoby elbow, og anunoby interview, knicks injury update, Mitchell Robinson injury news, Mitchell Robinson return, etc, which I do not own ANY of the rights to whatsoever, as these are intended to be used under the guidelines of fair use through RUclips.

This is actually my favorite team ever! When I started watching basketball, I think it was Earl the Pearl Monroe’s last season with the Knicks- I never saw the great Clyde Frazier. And I think this team is more exciting than the Ewing teams- Patrick never had anyone to play with that is as good as the second best player on the Knicks currently-whoever that may be- It’s actually unclear because we have a bunch of really good players in the mix with our star JB.
My dad took me to see Patrick in his first year with the team - we were awful, but just starting to wake up…

Tom Thibodau is one of the most underrated coaches in the league. Everywhere he goes, his defensive schemes, rotations, and understanding of his players skills sets always show with the statistics to reflect just that. His name isn't mentioned enough in the sports media world. Probably, because he hasn't won a chip yet as a head coach. The best player he's ever coached to date was a prime D Rose. This is a testament to how much heart this Team plays with, they're battle tested and mentally strong and prepared to win an NBA 🏆 Championship. Of course there are other factors to consider that would make this a reality, but the KNICKS have the foundation in place to make this dream come to fruition. GO KNICKS!!!

Boston is 32-3 at home with the highest net difference in the league while New York is only 20-15 away and only 18-26 vs teams .500 and above (Celtics are 31-13 vs teams .500 and above). They are 26-2 vs teams below .500, matching the celtics. There aren't going to be any teams lower than .500 in the playoffs. Just stop it
depth is key in the regular season so you don't max out your starters, but overrated in the playoffs as most teams shorten their bench anyway as your starters play 40 minutes a game (unless there is an injury to a starter, which Thibideou is famous for running his starters into the ground i.e. D. Rose). Even if randle and OG get back on the court, it takes time to get into game shape and from every report I've read, it's not for sure that Randle will be back by the playoffs. I actually like the Knicks, but if playoffs began today and all the top seeds advanced, the knicks wouldn't face Boston until the conference finals, and would have to go through a tough Bucks team with Giannis and Damian Lillard who they went 1-3 against. just sayin

Watching this team grow, evolve, mature, handle adversity, stepping up when the chips seem down has been an absolute privilege to witness. We have to continue to focus internally as fans. That criticism we always get as fans for being irrational knickers fans has always been misunderstood. How could we be considered irrational and the most knowledgeable fanbase in the league? It’s our faith , hope, and fire, and unending loyalty and support for those in the arena wearing the jersey that gets mischaracterized . Now is when we stand up unchanged and show what it means to be a knick fan with a group of soldiers worthy, and we will play our role and elevate our hero’s to the promise land. Randle's presence alone helps produce open looks at the basket. Combine that with his scorimg and play making and rebounding and I think you're not giving him enough credit. We low-key need Randle if the Knicks want to make a serious run. If he were healthy, we'd be the two seed.

This Knicks team makes me as a Villanova alum so proud of my boys. I knew that all they needed was a shot playing meaningful minutes to show that they are 100% star caliber players. I really hope they can go far in the playoffs and take a stab at a title if things go well. Definitely the most fun Knicks team to watch that I can remember.

A healthy knicks squad should make the ECF and could definitely make it to the finals.
What kept them out of making the ECF last season was the lack of shooting and the Randle injury.

LETS GET IT! If we continue to play like we have and get healthy? The Knicks have an opportunity to be a Team that has to be reckoned with for the next 5 years.

As a huge WVU fan I have know about Deuce for about 5 years now and couldn't be more proud of him and how he is produce now that he is given minutes. Now, my hot take is that the Knicks will get worse when Julius Randle comes back because their rotation of guards is absolutely killer, and while Randle can get a bucket, he is also a big liability on defense. Im very excited to see what the Knicks will do during the playoffs, but I'd really love to see a team like the Spurs make a move for Deuce, because I think he would be the perfect PG to pair with Victor.

I’m biased because I’m a die hard Knicks fan but the few weeks we had Randle and OG , the Knicks looked championship-like. I was so wrong about Brunson. Never thought he would be this great. With that said, you have to give credit to Knicks management and the coaching staff for making moves and getting the pieces that compliment Thibs style of play. You have to give credit to the remaining healthy Knicks for playing their butts off without Randle , OG and Mitch. Now that Mitch is back, I do so hope the other 2 can get back on the court this season but will there be enough time to get them in shape and create that cohesion prior to the playoffs? The great thing is the depth of the team if fully healthy and when you look at the entire lineup, the team is really stacked for success. People downplay defense but that Knicks mantra may be the defining element to get us to the promise land. OG, Deuce and Hart anchored by Mitch and Precious is true team defense and the Brunson , Hartenstein and Devo are sneaky good defenders also. Exciting times for NY Knicks fans!

Great overview of stats to explain Knock continued rise in standing w/o 2 key starters. That they aren't getting killed on the boards, only once or twice, has also been impressive. I put that on Brunson, Hart + Dante's collective court awareness. Very impressed by current team, and being a Knick fan since '67 w Frazier & Debusschere
my favorite players. Found Knicks🎉 almost unwatchable B4 Thibodeau's
arrival. Glad to see the distribution of the ball for open shot (like '69 team). Biggest hurdle are Celtics. They need to prove it and gain confidence, they're 0-4 this year.
Wait and see and I'll be rooting for the Knickerbockers.
