Roma's defending under Mourinho reminds me of Arsenal's defending a few years ago. Didn't matter which players were on the pitch, there was a flakiness to them. Maybe they aren't being organised by Patricio. They really should have a better keeper, Keylor Navas was available.
What a great game. Roma did not look their best, but well done to Cremonese for seizing the opportunity. A well-deserved semi-final run.

I would say Cremonese is mostly getting unlucky in the league, they did a pretty well fight against other strong teams like Inter, Juventus, even held draw to Milan and Atalanta, and now defeating Napoli and Roma in Coppa Italia..
They need some touches and hopefully in 2nd half of season we could see another Salernitana moment when they escaped from relegation zone..
Roma and Napoli didn t play with their best players, the coppa isn t clearly their main goal this year. Cremonese will be in Serie B within 4 months unfortunately for them.

I'd go as far to say this was a bigger upset than their win against Napoli since Roma actually started their A team. Beating two of the big six in Serie A and keeping it a close game against Inter shows how Cremonese have improved in 2023. It'll be a fight, but they can climb out of relegation if they keep this up.

Remember they held Napoli in extra time with 10 men so it was even more impressive also against Inter they scored a beautiful goal. All they can do now is continue with this attacking mindset to survive relegation.
