City had nothing to play for in the last games because Arsenal had capitulated by then. Now City have everything to play for and they need to win. Pep was talking about playing Madrid only 62 hours before the Cup semi final and that Madrid game was extra time plus pens.
If we didn't have the injuries, Mitoma and March, Ensico and Gilmore, as well as Estupinan, I really think City could have been trounced. We still have some great players, but it will be a tough game to even get a draw out of. Lets home Pep saying his players are tired is true and ours have had plenty of rest after a free weekend.
