What's your favorite bow setup right now? ... day-by-day elk coming 🤘
I just got a 31.5 after shooting a hoyt RX4 Ultra all year. I did not expect it, but the vxr is a tac driver. I am super impressed and I'm now selling my rx4
Vxr 28, spott hogg fast eddie xl 2 pin, gas bow string/cables
Pieter, how much?
TX-5, unfortunately the VXR's don't fit my draw length. Great video and good luck this season!
TRIAX with hamskea trinity rest and black gold ascent verdict assault sight
As a CAD draftsperson my dream job would be to work for a bow manufacturer. This is the first tour vid I’ve seen of a bow factory, thanks for the tour and keep up the awesome content.
Wow, thanks! Sure would be fun
Glad to see it's all made and put together in house in America!!
yessir!
Would be so awesome to go out on my lunch break and fling some arrows.. that's super cool
I'm shooting a Bowtech, but very much enjoyed the video!.. Mathews makes some great bows. Thanks Dan!
Thanks Jason
Although I’m an engineer in a different industry, I still find it interesting to hear how “normal people” refer to the engineering areas 😂😂😂.
I love these types of videos. I just got my Traverse last week and that thing is super consistent! Loving the Mathews bows so far!
That's a great setup 🤘
So cool to see where my baby was born .
Thanks for the video !
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm not a Matthew's bow shooter (Go G5 Prime) as I am a 32” DL, but this was very cool. Thank you. I'm sending it to all my Matthew’s bow guys.
appreciate that!!
It would be cool if Mathews would offer a special order option to get a new old model bow.
I bet it would be so popular it would chew up alot of their time.
Awesome stuff right there! Mathews has it going on. Man who’s the hater that gave it a thumbs down! Great job guys thanks for giving the inside look on something most of us will never see.
thanks RUEBEN! 🤘
Interesting to see it from this perspective!! Thanks for the content guys.
Thanks Zach!
Hey great tour, thanks for sharing. I've always been a Hoyt guy. I'm shooting the RX-4 currently. But I'm not opposed to making a switch. I know several people that have switched to Matthews and are happy with the VXR!
Hey as long as you're happy with your equipment.. Mathews has been very good to us 🙏 - TC
Wow. This is incredible. Very interesting
🤘
Loving all our Mathew bows... a shirt never looked so good.. sweet tour👍
Thanks Guys!
Best Bows and NICE SHIRT!
thanks G!
Pretty good vid tour. Thanks for posting. I have an APA bow. They have some very functional innovations built into their bows that I'm surprised the other bow companies (like Mathews) haven't incorporated some version of these innovations into their bows. For example, the limb hanger "fangs" that are built into the risers are very handy if you're a tree stand hunter.
Good deal
I don't know if they did it on purpose, but my Lift 29.5 and 33 were both off on timing just enough for a peep sight and drop away to correct. If that was intentional it's pretty cool.
Wow, that's good stuff, alot of technology going on there!! Mathews makes great stuff but I'm still shooting a Hoyt !
It's all good Paul - shoot what works for you, that's important!
@@ElkShape absolutely, just about every company out there makes a good bow Nowadays! Best of luck rest of the year
I'm shooting Matthews and Hoyt, love them both
Seeing everything that goes into these bows makes me feel like I got a bargain on my VXR.
I feel the same after watching it - TC
Well you didn’t lol they are manufactured for under 400$😂
@Fanatic Outdoor
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually less than that in raw materials. But consider the facility they are made in the equipment it takes the man hours the engineering the maintenance the liability insurance the patent fees the advertising and all the logistics. I’m sure I’m missing a few things.
And Mathews and the pro shop needs to make a profit. It’s called capitalism.
@@goldmountain6520 Yup. Any payroll and sales advertisement cost way more than the actual product does.
The one thing I’d like to see is how they paint all the different patterns on the bows
Picked up a vxr 28 this year opening day it did the job
NICE
Absolutely the best!
I definitely like the employee range. passionate employees are definitely better.
I want to work there so bad
dope spot!
Glad I went with a vxr28 as my first bow!
Good choice Luis!
Just bought a vxr 28. LOVE IT! When you spend that kind of $ you should be able to get any finish you want, and not pay $75 extra for any but 3!
Wish the finish was better quality too!
That’s awesome
Thanks guys that was very interesting
Glad you enjoyed it
Cool tour, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the watch
To the title “ Amen “ !!!
Thanks for the tour.
This is sick!
thanks G!
I love my vxr 28!
That's what danthefitnessman is rocking! - TC
They better start working in Fridays cus I can't wait much longer for my v3!
Cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Very cool and impressive.
Thanks Justin!
look at Matthew's tour gave me the feeling of like MotoGP formula1 very professional and high level technology and secretive like hush hush
Oh yeah.. we didn't get access to all the goooodies
Great video! Thanks for taking us on the tour.
Thx for the tour‼️
#GetSerious #TeamHoyt ... Enjoy your content and information!
Very interesting! Parts of the music sounded like music out of GTA San Andreas😂
Word!
Good video 👍, and I'm not a Matthew's guy, tried the Halon x pro, but it was well built !
Fair enough! Goodluck this season 🤘
Awesome company. Awesome video.
We agree! thanks for watching
Cool to see the people that made my bow
Thanks for watching 🙏
They really need to add back some legit 32-34 ATA bows again. 27 is a speciality situation at best, and 31 isn't going to get it done for a lot of guys.
Music made my dog bark!
That's amazing!
Very cool!
The owner of Firenock told me Matthews used to advertise in their brochure that they wouldn’t make split limb dual cam bows. Anyone know if that is true?
That is true. They were a solo cam company. Best bows in the world? No. Best advertising and fan boys, yes.
Marlinspike Mate haha
Back in the day they had inflated numbers, and they still do it today. They were staunch solo cam marketeers and had an entire band wagon saying f solo cam was the best thing in the world. PSE was demonized for their designs that they now copy.
Marlinspike Mate the owner of Firenock kept telling me my VXR isn’t a Mathews bow haha He was joking around but was pointing out they used say split limbs and dual cams were not the way to go
They used to say they didn't see any advantage to the split limb. Then the came out with the Creed. Now all their bows are split limbs
Man that would be a cool tour
I shoot a but rx3 buuuuttt I would have gone vxr if I didn't already buy one great video I like this stuff as much as the hunting
Thanks G!
So cool...
Thanks for the watch brother 🤘
I got a vxr, the limbs creek the first time I pull it back. Sent it in 2 times, thought it was fixed the last time. Now it's back again for a 3rd time. At what point do they stop trying to fix something that they obviously can't and send me a new bow that doesn't sound like it may explode the first time I pull it back
This is where my baby was born in 2020! She came out 31" and 4 and a 1/2 pounds. But the weird thing is I am Caucasian and my wife is puerto rican But the baby came out with Under Armor All season cammo.
All my kids were born there as well..
I bet that would be a cool job to have
Sure would be!
I would love to get my hands on a polished aluminum bow! That would be so cool.
Same, TC
What you guys think about the future of this industry? I'm kinda pessimistic about the future.
I like hoyt bow.. If i asked to make 1, are gonna paid for it?
Well I just ordered my VXR today. It would be great if I could get it on Monday 10/19/2020.🙏
Bushmen Bows by Steve Jewett. Best bows. Period.
If they work for you, it's all good
8:00. Im being given a tour of the facility but ohh wait, let me take this call
You misspelled “second”. Awesome video
Will Mathews Build a Older Model Bow for you If Requested?
does anybody know what type of aluminum the risers are made from. 6061 or 7075
Wo!
So Matthews due time their cams out of the factory???
After owning and shooting all the brands, I come back to Mathews. For me they feel great 👍🏽 my only grip is the finish. Compared to the other companies- PSE, Hoyt, Bowtech, and Prime...Mathews camo finishes are the worst. My Traverse in UA Ridge Reaper has a finish that is plain horrible. The camo is thin and stretched out in the bridge cut outs. Mathews needs to upgrade their finish process.
Glad you enjoy them - they're good at listening too 🤘
You need to forward that video to the Floyd’s ranch head guys! Big ranchers always trying to screw the little guys!! “These guys pay a lot of money🤓!” Yea, we’ll so do we😎!!!
I wonder what type of pen testing they do on their OT & IT systems. Sorry, that was geek talk
Over my head lol - TC
Where is the news on upcoming rel
This isn’t Hoyt tho?
How do I become an employee at Mathews?😀
I think you start by applying 🤘😅 - TC
Im new to bows and bought my first one, and it was a Bowtech Icon DLX. I went in origionally to buy the new Mathews VXR 28. I was warned buy other bow owner's not to buy Matthews due to thier warranty not being good or standing by it. Their company isnt what it used to be is what i was told.
The company has been great for us to work with, we have total confidence in their product! - Tim
Should've got the Mathews
Such a misleading title. Thought it was a Hoyt factory tour 😅
Lol
When ever a camera is on people always work harder. It’s a fact of life.
They were the first to start parallel limb bows and harmonic dampeners after that they got big headed and they are damn near last to bring out the next big thing in the bow world definitely not the best bow in the world they been caught lol
just wish they still did trad bows those compounds are way over priced in my opinion just saying .
It's almost as if it takes millions and millions of dollars worth of machinery and engineering to make them....
Saying these are the best bows in the world is very subjective.
Yes it is, we are allowed to have opinions - TC
These companies are going to have to lower there pricing on there products China is producing some quality bows for half of the price
Eff China. I'll pay double for a domestic product and not flinch. You also need to remember what most Americans are getting paid versus what a Chinese sweatshop worker is getting paid.
@@account-ability_2583 what workers all I seen was robots
Then you didn't watch the whole video,, there were both human workers and robots. Not to mention how many thousands of hours of engineering are put into these products. But if you want to buy a 500 dollar Chinese bow, no one will stop you. If it ever breaks, chances are you won't be able to get a repair part either. Mathews still provides parts for EVERY bow they've ever manufactured. Not too many companies can do that. I do my best to shop local, buy domestic if at all possible, and always support small business.
@@account-ability_2583 seeing that video if I owned ther product I'd be stoked to show everyone where my bow was made it's like formula 1 or MotoGP of archery
