I visit myrtle beach almost every year since 1979. The changes seen is unbelievable. I own a condo since 1985 at Ocean Creek Resorts. In North myrtle beach. Only thing that keeps us away is occasional hurricane. We now stay for months since retired. Sometimes to Florida's west coast beaches and DISNEYWORLD.

The shots shown here are of North Myrtle Beach, not Myrtle Beach. They are 2 separate towns a few miles apart. The video mainly consists of shots of the Little River inlet and the Cherry Grove section of NMB. Beaches are empty because it was the dead of winter and probably quite cold. The beach renourishment depicted here is only done during the off season. FYI.

Nice weather here all week and the added bonus is some motel's free wifi coming through with my feet in the ocean. And Joel (below) no shit! But a lot of people can't afford a trip there.

I didn't watch the video. I wonder if they describe the multiple murders, shootings stabbings and rapes that occur on a weekly basis. Not to mention the Charlotte thugs that come here on the weekends to settle disputes. MB is a cesspool that is to be avoided at all costs if you value the lives of your family.

Hit Sand Dunes, very miserable, good wind but continuous blowing of sand, everybody now very weak, thought Sam & Moore were all gone. LaMotte eyes are gone, everyone else's eyes are bad. Still going @t signs of anything, a couple of birds; good wind from N. Really weak now, can't walk, pains all over, still all want to die. Nites very cold, no sleep. Eyes bad, lost all our wgt. aching all over, could make it if we had water; just enough left to put our tongue to, have hope for help very soon, no rest, still same place. 5th day out & we all thought we're gone. All wanted to die during noon it was so hot. Morn & nite okay. 2 drops of water!
Because it is getting too dangerous because of gang wars. South and North Myrtle are 2 different worlds so you have to be careful which one you stay in. My personal favorite beach is Ocean Isle, NC. Look it up. It is beautiful!
Good luck coming to myrtle beach in 2015 rt 17 bypass will have major construction and business will be jammed packed with traffic worse than N.Y go to Florida.
It dose look a little boring but it's a really awsome beach! It has Brodway at the Beach which is really fun, and the Board walk is awsome! I suggest going at least once. :)

My home away from home. Been going here since I was a toddler and been living in SC my whole life so Myrtle Beach is basically my 2nd home.
i first visited here when i was 3-4 years of age (Late 80's). this place brings back so much nostalgia.

William Drewes There is no construction on 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach yes but it is still just normal summer traffic.
