I agree, because I can't love like Lord Jesus, because I am not God, but He is in me, but still, I am not God Almighty, because I am in the flesh, but Lord Jesus being in me is my helper to try and love them like Jesus, but we still don't know each person's heart, because we are not God, but still in the flesh.
It is Lord Jesus finished work that saved us not our works, but His instead. When Jesus comes back, we will shed this flesh, because Lord Jesus will change us and then this flesh is taken off and we will be like Jesus then, where then we will never sin again, because of Jesus finished work of shedding His blood for us and changed us into white as snow.
I believe Lord Jesus is a bright light shining under this flesh and when Lord Jesus changes us we also will be like Jesus pure light and then we will fly up to Heaven to be the light of the world with Lord Jesus Christ.
People don't take all those movies we saw as a kid or years ago as just nothing because, like Cocoon Movie, in the movie it showed once they died, they shed their skin and became all light and were happy ever after, I believe that movie was a shadow Lord Jesus is showing us might be like. Wow, I loved that movie it was awesome, and I believe it was made by that Jewish guy, Spielberg, but if you saw it, you would know what I mean. I think he had insight into the future. God is coming very soon, get right with Lord Jesus and live!

I used to go to church, and I took my kids to church. I got saved when I was in high school, but I never read the whole Holy Bible until 2018. I was trying to stop smoking, and I would read the Holy Bible when I wanted a cigarette, and I started from the beginning . Before that, I would just pick my Bible up and read a verse,and I never understood it until I read the Holy Bible from beginning to end, and then I started seeing everything everything that Jesus was talking about. Thank you, dear lord Jesus 🙏

People give up too easy just because they don’t “feel”like it anymore or ignore seeking true biblical counseling when it’s needed to help get back on track, keeping on the track is of course, the best way to go.But there is no place for unrepented, physical or mental abuse.

When you love those who love you, where is the reward in that? Love your enemies. Even though they persecute you. Remember that when they hate you for my namesake, they hated me first.
There is a reward for loving those that love you. AS well!

This is true. I'm still trying to heal from the hurt my sister put me through.
As much as I tried to love her regardless, she was busy hurting me and my husband, saying all sorts and making me feel depressed. I just had to cut her off.
Forgetting her cheating husband is not an inch as loving as my husband.

This is what it is ALL about. Gods way is perfect and absolute, we are not however. All other ways, concepts, ideologies, beliefs will lead to a dead end and is finite. The love that is God is forever and can design life forms, universes, dimensions, small particle theory etc, is well able to raise us to life in new immortal bodies at the end of this age by his grace and was his plan from the beginning.

God shows us that when we marry, we enter a covenant with God and our spouse. When the Israelites were making peace covenants with the nations, it was a binding contract. Even if they were deceived they would honor the covenant!. Joshua chapter 9.
That's right. 1st Corinthians 13 talks about this. The Greek word for love used in 1 Corinthians 13 is agape and that means a Godly love. To love as God loves. To respect the order, command, of love & the order that God loved first.
Our God indeed is a covenant keeping God. Has he said a thing and not perform it? I watch how things unfold in my life, from penury to $155,000 every three months and I can only praise him and trust him more. Hallelujah🙌🏻❤️❤❤

Why does love work so well for some , but others can't handle it 🤔
Having said that, I still have my understanding and you still have your perspective. Jesus told the tempter that the Bible says not to test God. Jesus IS God, and he confirmed the Gideon lesson. You said it's ok to test God. I say that was Gideon's allowance. Who are we to speak for God, as I said he spoke again on the matter. I'm going with him...I'm also staying with my statement that I don't need testing regarding love. Even as it's more of evidence for others, rather than learning and testing for me. I know how I love, and how I feel; and how I am, and my experience and understanding. And the testing that God has done with me, re: him and people. Even as I am rather experienced in life, shall we say. But you think that I need testing, or really, approving. That if I chose not to forgive and walk away, then you say I'm not loving, verb, and also that I didn't have your idea of correct love feeling/thinking; bc you say it's not a feeling. I say you're still wrong, bc I know what I feel. I believe the Father feels for his children. Just as you feel for yours. The debate can also carry over into the mental ability and willingness to feel. Even as some are so busy in their mentality that they are in their thinking mind more than feelings. Bc we know that there are two sides to the brain, biological factors, personal experiences and social reasons as well for how people think. Even as we only really have our own life and experience to go by. You like to quote factors of other groups and types, and generalize and conclude on apples and oranges. But do you test your own child's love for you, or your parent's love for you, or a stranger who would become a friend. That's a very good way to lose people and be alone. And I don't think that is what Jesus wants Christians to be known for. I think that's the point. Even as arranged marriages have many other mental and social considerations in their time period. I still Know that you're wrong about both of these areas. Even as I don't think most people test other lovers, throughout time, as it is counter intuitive to God's spirit of getting people together. And I don't think that your relationship was tested by either of you. And why would you if God divinely put you together. No it's still a bit of doubting Thomas/Gideon syndrome, of the natural not believing the Spirit, period. And then when your mind is satisfied to a point, then you pass your judgement for a while. It's your mentality of qualifying, passing your test. Who are any of you? But weak in faith, belief and understanding. Apologies accepted, the line starts here!
