Hi, thank you for the video, I have a question about the unit I have just installed, I set P10=2 so I can use throttle and peddle assist however peddle assist does not work (yet ?)and when I change the assist level it changes the amount of throttle I get, i.e. assist set to 1 and I don't get much power on full throttle, assist set to 5 and I get full throttle, is this correct ? I only want the peddle assist to have 5 setting not the throttle..

How do you show the speed on the display with a geared motor when the motor is not powered and the bike is rolling, I assume it has something to do with the white wire from the hub and the white wire to the display, do I just connect them together?
Hi. My bike have a motor on the back wheel and lights don't turn. I had a monitor key- disp before with this bike and the light was working. What should I do to be able to turn on the light on S866 ? Can I do it by setting the display or need too charge the cables?
@TomKuc-yz5ls light function works with positive terminal of battery , nagative goes directly from controller to light So if you dont have enough info for display you can directly give positive terminal of battery to the light via any switch or something without changing anything on display . If you have enough knowledge of display than there are 2 wires in display for light one is coming from controller and when you keep pressing light button that power is going to the another wire which turns of light. If you find both these wires, You just short them and light will work. Make sure the issue is not in LED light it self , before doing all this.

Thank you brother... it's a nice video... I installed a 48v 500w hub motor set on my 28" city bike... I set the p07 setting to 0001, then the km timer stopped working... I did some research and it shows the number of magnets in the motor, if it is not entered correctly. I learned that the km and distance would not be correct... Then, in the technical specifications of the engine, the magnet size was written as 27x2.3/27x3, so I entered the value 81 for testing purposes... The km meter started to work, but I did not know if it showed the speed and distance correctly... Can you help me on this issue? What should be the p07 value for my engine?
You need to check maximum by Google map or any GPS app , than try with few different input for magnets until you get actual closure to actual that you need to note down somewhere for future reference

Use 48v setting, it will undervolt a little to start, but that is better than overvolt, plus 52 is the nominal and it will be lower than that real fast under use.
52 is Nominal or full charge?? If 48v (13S)lithium ion battery is there, it have full charge voltage (upper cutoff) 54.4V And Discharge Voltage is 44V (Lower cutoff ) So your settings will be suitable for 48V if 52V is full charge voltage. (Battery options available in display are 24,36,48,60) No options in between them.

Hello sir, i have a question regarding the LED turn on/off function. which wires( yellow+Black?) i need to use to connect headlamp? Also will the wires show voltage change when "long press the + button". the reason I ask is because the controller i have always has 41v (battery voltage) on the yellow and black wire, they dont change voltage. is there some setting i need to change. please help.
Maybe i can help, 41v is a 36v system, a healthy battery often sits at around 37-42v fully charged, so dont worry about that and for your headlights, they need to be connected to your controller wires, it will be a 2 pin, hopefully your kit has it and it fits, otherwise solder or join them and test the light.
Hi, I have a Hitway BK11 with an S866 display without an accelerometer. I've tried everything to change the speed in the P08 settings to 35 km/h, but the speed doesn't exceed 25 km/h. Why is that? Is it possible that the new 2023 displays have been calibrated and it's not possible to change the parameters? Or is there a way to do it?
Same problem with BK15. For sure Hitway changed something. It seems impossible with the display. Usually with a lot of bikes you just open the controller and disconnect 2 cables. I didn't check because recently I saw several videos about people who did it with a Hitway and it didn't work. Could you please tell here if you found?
@@baroul59 I did it, you need to pull both brake levers for 10 seconds and turn on the display while keeping the brake levers pulled. After 10 seconds, access the P8 settings and change it to 100; my bike reaches a maximum speed of 32 km/h.

Thanks, Great info! i have a question, my bike is 2 weeks old( ado20f) , it shuts off while riding (battery still full, 5 stripes ) . Then it wont turn on. Thought battery but tried another one from other same bike, still same problem. it happens now every time when i drive around distance of 25 km after fully charged. After charging it works again, is this maybe some kind of setting? it seems like it shuts off when it goes from battery 5 stripes to 4 stripes. Hope somebody can help solve this mystery.
It seems like battery indicator is not calibrated or faulty. If your battery is 250Kwh 25km backup is maximum it gives. But if your battery is designed for higher kilometres then there is some issue in cutoff voltage either in battery or in controller
i dont have any paddle assist sensor but if i use plus button itll increase the speed???!!! why is that? and if you let the vehicle to get some speed like 30km/h then if i let go the throttle the scooter suddenly jerks backward ... !!! why its happening Mr?

If there is a speed signal Comming out from motor and controller, but it is not being used in your LED display, then changing to an LCD display will definitely work.
@@InfiniteLaboratory I replaced the S810 display with the S860. It turned on and I was able to change the parameters but when I used the throttle, the wheel moved half way around then stopped.

E10 is communication error of display and controller, may be because of wrong connection or loose connection, or failure in any of them.

you tried setting P08 to 100? and the wheel size, magnet qty and gear:v input correct?

How to set a passcode to restrict access to S866 menu options?
My paddle assist stopes late after paddling is stopped and starts a bit late when starting to paddle is there an adjustment in the settings
In other words even when paddling is stopped the motor has power take a bit longer for the motor to stop working
May be due to some issues in controller or lagging of signals
