Out of all the hard music, I believe it's nice to have worship. It doesn't matter how it sounds, what matter is they are worshiping. Hearing any worship is music to my ears. :)
Skillet is SOO awesome!! Because they are TOTALLY OBVIOUSLY Christian!! I love how their music totally ranges, like this is a beautiful worship song, but then they also have heavier music like Hero and Monster from their new CD awake!! Oh and they have some havy songs on collide and comatose too!! :) i LOVE SKILLET

i read somewhere that skillet started out barely in the rock category then they slowly changed into the rock band they are today. i love skillet they are my favorite band!!!

In the bible it says that God gives us swords, not peace. If we christians should be to any use, we have to tell someone about Jesus, tell people what he did for you and me. We should be the salt and the light in this world. We should not be scared of telling, without God you're nothing, and without action, your faith is dead. Being scared of telling and create a holy war, wont make you do the difference. There has to be someone, standing ready to lead a good fight, a fight to win souls!
I go to Westminster Presbyterian in Greenwood, South Carolina. I haven't gone there long, though. USed to go to another Presbyterian church. Liked it better. : (

Umm...how do I explain this? I'm PCUSA. Our nickname is "the frozen chosen". You sit or you stand. You sing hymns and you say the call to worship, the prayer of confession, and maybe another couple of things here and there. Like I said, we sing OLD hymns. So I guess I mean churches who are more entergetic? Say Amen in the middle of a prayer or sermon? I can't exactly explain it. I wasn't using crazy in a bad way.

Just because a band is labeled "Christian" doesn't mean that all they sing is praise and worship; they create songs with a good message to them, and with clean lyrics. Not trying to bash, but Skillet is a fully christian band...anybody who disputes that can check out their older podcasts or go to one of their shows, they openly admit they're Christian. (Or check out John's tattoo, lol)

lol, no. I would be shocked if my church sang anything written in the last two centuries. Which is nice, but it makes going to slightly crazier churches refreshing sometimes.
I think that God doesn't care about religion at all i think He is anti-religion really. He also doesn't care if we do good or bad He simply loves us. thats all He has ever wanted was for people to love Him back thats why He sent Jesus because the whole world was losing love and falling into religion. we are not in cells of religion. we are in freedom of love. read "the shack" it explains all of it well actually The Bible explains all of it but i doubt you would want to read that.

And ALL religons say that God cannot affect the free will. They do not always win, Did hitler win world war 2? no. Did the swineflue kill the hole humanity?no.
