They had to have had planed this, they wanted to feed the FNaF fans because we’ve been starving.
I'm saying this right now. There is no way it isn't a trap because the place looks like it's been abandoned for YEARS. Gregory can barely even survive for 6 hours let alone years where he probably would've found his way out eventually. And it also brings up the problem of "Gregory still sounds too young to be in his 13's / 15's"
I agree. I don’t really buy into the the whole idea Gregory is a robot just because it would be an easy plot device. Gregory also does not sound really scared or confused it sounds fake

@@DrasticFox2004 He's in a trash pile at around 1:10. After Chica on a conveyor belt. You know it's him by the red leg plating and by process of elimination. Everyone else has a pattern, a green / purple plating and Monty has no legs anymore anyways.

The fact freddy isn't already helping Gregory is sus to me :/ if this was the real Gregory he would do anything to keep freddy in shape I gotta agree with mat's theory and it could be a mimic...but more importantly, how exactly does "Gregory" know Cassie? Like Cassie could be Gregory's sister (only link I noticed is the hair so that's flimsy at best) but also in the escaped pizzaplex ending Gregory goes and hides in an alley in a box indicating he doesn't have a home or family ,
I hope that bunny is glam bonnie and one of the best endings would be fixing him up, argh so hype 😂 can't we just skip an entire month?

Glamrock Bonnie's disappearance was a plot thread left relatively unresolved. Would be nice to see if explored here.

The whole mimic plot from the recent books kinda threw a wrench in his ultimate timeline video so way before that

One minor but notable example being just:
Bite of 83 = Multiple Simultaneous Springlock Failures (just prior to MCI in 1985)
It contradicts pretty clear lore from FNAF 3 that hasnt been contradicted yet in-lore, and relies on Springlocks being UTTERLY different.
...also the general Mrs Afton thing, among other aspects.

Oh he’s never free even when he thinks he is, Scott decides to throw a massive wrench into his gears and mess it up every time Mat thinks he’s done just to keep him going. I mean you gotta realize that this series is always getting updated, whether it’s books, DLC’s, movies or more games. The first game came out in what? 2014? That’s almost a decade ago that the first one came out and since then almost every year a new one got released. The story is constantly changing. Remember when FNAF world came out and most people thought it was canon so they made theories surrounding that game, and then when it came to the timeline they had to rearrange the whole thing to fit the game and then it came out that the game was in fact not canon and it was just a random spin off that Scott made for fun? I mean yes there were aspects of the game that fit into the lore but the main purpose was to introduce Baby for Sister Location. Like the game wasn’t bad, it just frustrated so many people. Ultimate custom night was another thing that screwed with the timeline, all the quotes for each of the characters (including the secret rare ones), all the cut scenes, office locations, the way the characters moved, all of that was questioned when the game came out. I guarantee you that even now, the whole story isn’t even released, Scott definitely knows what he’s trying to do and the story he wants to release he’s just thinking about how to do it to confuse us more.
I actually have high hopes for this game despite how Security Breach turned out. This seems the bring back the scary element that FNAF is and might build on the story of SB! If they do the mechanics correctly, this could be an awesome game! I'm thinking that the bunny animatronic we see is Vanny (but she's human so idk) or Glamrock Bonnie. I do wonder though, what happened to Gregory and where's Freddy?

I’m mainly interested about IF that’s actually Gregory who’s talking. Part of me thinks it’s someone or something pretending to be him, like faking or mimicking his voice to lure Cassie in.

John freaking out over the green nail polish was too real. The smallest details really can mean so much in this franchise it’s making us all go insane 😭

The vanny mask mechanic idea you spitballed would be awesome. Using the mask too much has the chance to corrupt you so you have to use it sparingly (kinda similar to how staying in your mask in FNAF 2 left you vulnerable).
If anything, it reminds me of the cut toxicity mechanic from it

Gregory’s cries for help don’t really sound..genuine imo. It almost sounds forced, or faked.
It’s also strange how he doesn’t have time to explain how he got there, when he clearly had time to send a message to Cassie. He isn’t being quiet either, it sounds very loud. If I was in that situation I’d probably be quieter while talking.
I have a hunch that the Mimic is pretending to be Gregory, to lure Cassie in and kill her. I mean, that is what the Mimic does. Pretends to be something or someone else.
I also feel Cassie is Gregory’s sister. From what I can see of her, they look similar. Especially with the brunette hair they both have.

Maybe it’s the blob using Funtime Freddy’s voice mimicry considering he’s a part of it and maybe it’s got some “mimic afton” influence having attacked him in the afton ending (luring a kid in particular anyway)
Yeah his voice sounds very exaggerated. Besides why would he return to the pizza plex after all those years? He doesn't seem to know Vanny is still alive in the Burntrap ending
@@reidalyn2328 Pretty sure he was either trapped or just killed in the Burntrap ending. The elevator was a 1 way trip and there was never shown another way out so assumingly he and Freddy got stuck down there.

I've gotta say, I really like that they went all out on these new shattered designs, especially after how the base game felt a bit sugar coated to be more kid-friendly. Also, this atmosphere works LEAGUES better for a horror game than the base game. I'm interested!

With all the Security Breach trailers, Vanny showed up a lot but then didn't really do much in the game. So what if with Ruin they do the reverse? Vanny doesn't show up much in the trailer/teasers, but appears a lot in the gameplay...
Since all 3 animatronics are in 'ruined' versions of their forms where Gregory destroyed them, that should mean Ruin 100% follows along the Afton Ending. Because that's the only ending where all 3 animatronics would be destroyed.

Cassie sounds like a shortened version of Cassidy. And honestly if this is the same Cassidy as in Golden Freddy it makes sense she and Gregory would be buddies since their souls were bound to the same animatronic for decades.
5:19 That looks like it says “CLOSE FOREVER” - the RE is blended together into a blob so it’s hard to read.
The handheld thing looks like a radio.
The shattered Endos look amazing, I love Roxys new shatters form, and I’m sure I’ll love the others when we see more detail. But something about the way Roxy turns her head when Cassy puts her hand on Roxy’s hand makes me think we might be trying to help the other Glamrocks at some point.
The hype is back again.
for real, and also why does it seem like chica is the most prominent in this, you see her like 3 times and she's on the teaser poster. roxy too kinda, and its funny to think that we don't see freddy's face we only get to see him once. One more thing tho, I feel as if monty is going to be the most aggressive.

I like how in the jumpscare when you're presumably playing as Cassy, she grabs Monty's jaws before he overcomes her. This could show she has a strong spirit, or more resistance than Gogy
I totally agree with you. You can see the typical jumpscare static for a moment as the shot cuts out but seeing a protagonist actually struggle in their last moments makes this a lot more realistic.

I've compiled a list of every single thing I noticed in the trailer:
1. 0.24 If you look closely, you can see that there is a bit of scaffolding and platforms in the windows, as well as the fact that there is a peach bar and even more brown wood stuff behind Cassie. The peach bar might just be an overhang or something in front of the Pizzaplex, but why would they need additional barricades on top of it. It feels like that whoever barricaded it wanted absolutely no one to get in, because they knew what was inside.
Also, the scaffolding I mentioned earlier could even be a minor parkour section where we're gonna learn the movement mechanics, but that's a bit of a stretch, and I'm probably spit balling.
2. 0.28 I simply refuse to believe that Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool will put a dippy bird in the center of a frame, highlighted with a little bit of light, and have it have NO MEANING WHATSOVER. There HAS to be something connected with a perpetual motion thing, or a continuous cycle that they are hinting at here.
3. 0.36 It's been a while since I've even seen the layout of security breach, but I'm pretty sure the Gator Golf monty head was somewhere in the main room or something, and this sort of ish feels like a more underground somewhat area, so something big must've happened for it to get here, or it's just buried under a ton of debris, again, something big must've happened.
4. 0.49 This device feels like something that will likely help Cassie to reactivate and use some of the old electronics, as they have mostly gone out of power. It's also possible that this could be used to communicate with Gregory, sort of like Freddy in the main game, as John had said. But one thing I don't entirely agree with John about is the device being able to control the animatronics, that seems like a stretch.
One thing is that it has both a scroll wheel and a voice input box, similar to a radio, meaning it could be used to contact Gregory, as well as the fact that it has both green and red buttons, meaning it could possibly activate and deactivate things like gates and systems. So it feels like a decent chunk of the game will involve wiring and rewiring electronic devices and circuits. Which leaves me to believe that there could be a major art of the game, where "Gregory" tricks us into reprogramming AFTON"S CIRCUIT BOARDS, and helps him return for the fourth time. Again, I might be spitballing.
5. 0.56 It seems like that Cassie puts in the device and doesn't seem to take it out, meaning that it could work similar to a battery as well, more like a thing that could easily gather an store power, which could be used t o open gates and stuff. It would be cool if we could use this to like extract old power from the broken staff bots and fuses to put in the circuits to open paths and stuff.
6. 0.58 The section where Cassie says "Gregory! Run!" into the roxanne walkie talkie makes me partially doubt that Gregory is malicious and under the control of glitchtrap, which makes me think that either:
A. Some of the things Gregory says are actually Gregory, and some are just Vanny tricking Cassie.
B. Gregory is under the control of glitchtrap, but the animatronics don't necessarily know, and they still attack him.
C. Gregory was under the control of glitchtrap, but he later breaks free and joins Cassie in escaping, possibly later in the game.
D. It's all a massive shurrade, making Cassie think that Gregory is on her side, but he's still in the control of glitchtrap, with the animatronics even in on it pretending to chase him down.
7. 1.04 There's a weird Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria logo in the corner, making me think that this could possibly be sort of a loading / transition scene, with Cassie using the gator cars to hop around the Pizzaplex.
8. 1.09 I don't really now why Chica is knocked out like that on the conveyor belt. It could be possible that we're tasked with destroying the animatronics a second time, making sure they are even further into disrepair, and therefore harmless. You could even see Chica laying down on the ground at 1:11.
9. 1.16 You'd notice that before we get into the glitch world view with the Vanny Mask, there is a brief second where you see a sort of white effect before transitioning into the glitch world view. While it could be possible that it's similar to the effect Gregory gets when he gets close to Vanny in the main game, I believe that its more similar to the effect and design of the THIRD GLITCHWORLD IN FNAF WORLD. If you don't remember, in FNAF World, you ae able to hop into glitchy objects to go through these mini glitch worlds to get past areas, and you could go further into these worlds, but if you go too far in, you'll end up in the Fourth Glitch World, where you're permanentally stuck in a red space, and you gain one of teh endings.
I believe that this effect is similar to the white static of the Third Glitch World right before the fourth one, and the effect you see after putting on the mask, is similar to the fourth one, symbolizing a transition.
10. 1.16 Along with the fact that the vision looks like the 4th Glitch World with the red background, AKA Afton's Purgatory, there are also purple blobs scattered across the background, which is similar to the purple static we see Afton being mad out of at the end of the first Princess Quest game, back in Help Wanted, as well as being the general purple static we see the majority of the enemies being made out of in the minigame.
For number 8, I don’t think that’s Chica… the body looks far too large to be her. I think it’s actually Glamrock Freddy, which explains why he hasn’t been able to help Gregory.
For number 7 I’m pretty sure that’s the cutscene emblem to show that we are in a cutscene
On point 2: Time travel? Time loop perhaps?
Or maybe a connection to the purgatory that Afton got out by Cassidy?
The main character is suspiciously named cassy....
On point 4: There's a real possibilty that that may not even be Afton, but the mimic trying to mimic Afton.
If this is the case, who the heck is in that suit?
What poor soul did the mimic stuff into an old and barely functional spring lock suit?
Or to be more accurate, who did he stuff into a, _mimic_ of an old spring lock suit?
We see parts of the new animatronics on this model of "Afton" the glamrocks.
That's where eveyone theorizes bonny went, into building the "new Afton."
It may not even be Afton, it may be mimic.
And if it is, my theory is that mimic put David's dad in the suit, because that makes sense vengeance wise.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a phrase I'm sure you'll hate:
IN THE BOOKS (xD) a character called mimic, which was originally an animatronic designed to mimic people or things so that it could entertain it's designers son while he was off at work.
Eventually the kid dies in a car crash and in a fit of rage the designer beats the living crap out of this poor endo who was simply doing his job, mimicking the designers son.
After this mimic ends up in the pizzaplex system or something, details get fuzzy there in my mind.
Anyway, it's all very interesting, how much of it should be considered canon is questionable though.
On point 9:
I think this comparison is intentional, I think it's a genuine callback and it's what they want you to think of when watching this trailer.
Why?
Well, you're putting on the vanny mask, and if that thing ain't trapped in some way, she sure missed an opportunity to change the mind of an unsuspecting victim.
The common theory goes that the mask will have a sort of usage limit before you end up going nuts and the glitchtrap virus takes hold of your mind.
You may have just caught a visual clue which proves this theory.
2:04 has me in tears dude why is that so funny
If you slow down the daycare attendant clip, you can see that they open a closet to find you, so maybe it will be some sort of hide and seek minigane? I also noticed that first they jump at you aggressively, looking more like Moon, and then Sun's rays come out, and they wave at you more friendly. So maybe this will be kinda a Malachite from Steven Universe situation? Where they are both trying to control their body? (Jesus Christ poor sun get him out of there) AHAJAKAKAKSNNSNS IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MY FAV CHARACTER AGAIN IM SHAKING RN

I personally think that Gregory sent a message to Cassie during or before the events of Security Breach, said he was trapped, and she arrived trying to help him by the time Gregory had already burnt it down.

I think the gold on Monty and the fact that they don’t look like the blank endoskeletons is because they’ve gotta have some extra structures under there to fill out the shape of the shell, like eyes and ears and snouts. It’s probably like a detachable addition

I didn’t mind security breach on its own, some people said it wasn’t scary because of how bright and colorful it was I didn’t really care, thought the story was good and the game did get me to jump slightly occasionally.
But this looks like it’ll actually make me jump out of my chair, I watch lots of horror movies so that’s a big claim I’m making.

Just commenting some things I noticed on the second watch:
1. Cassie's bracelet looks like Charlie's security bracelet in the security puppet minigame as well: same color, roughly same position, the green glows/is super prominent in the dark
2. The cameras/maps might actually be useful in this DLC xD
3. What in the world is going on with glitchtraps forearm + hand it looks like the claw from Poppy. Also, it looks like something is holding his hand/him back around the wrist holding it into something.
4. The "don't give up on me yet" makes me think it's double sided as a message to the fans to not give up on steelwool/security breach and it's potential to be really well done

I just noticed at 9:44 every green shape on her bracelet glows but not the other colors, idk if this mean anything but just pointing it out
Calling it now just in case. If Cassie already has that hacking device from the start, she most likely is Patient 46. Her multitool/hacking device and the way she seems to really know how to use it makes me think she might be the expert hacker mentioned in the audio discs of the base game. That tool also makes me think it's specifically designed to mess with the electronics and more of the Pizzaplex, so if Cassie already has it as she enters the building, we then have to ask the question of how she got the device.

Plenty of things to notice. If there's a big time skip, it isn't reflected on Gregory. Which either means the way he saw the pizzaplex in his run was an illusion and it was already trashed all along, or it means that Cassie wouldn't notice the difference on Gregory either way.
A time skip would feel disappointing, so I wonder which is it. Is it a trap to lure a kid using her memories of another kid that should be older now, or does it mean that Gregory was seeing illusions this whole time?
Because if Gregory was seeing illusions the whole time could this maybe mean that the entirety of the Pizzaplex is actually the pizzaria from FNAF 6?
We know that in this new era, the tellings of the Scott era games have been turned into unreliable narration from an indie dev. Could this be this game telling us that Gregory was the actual cause of the fire of either FNAF 3 or 6?
Vanny's mask seem to work kinda similar to how Roxy's eyes work on Freddy... which is also interesting. If Vanny's vision is of a more clear/fixed pizzaplex, does that mean that Gregory also has that kind of vision if I'm right about him being an unreliable narrator in the base game?
I have a gut feeling we might see a new version of Foxy popping up here at some point too...

He might not have aged because of being a robot kid. I'm not convinced either way of that theory but it would explain this.
Ohhh the illusion theory might hold. The pizzaplex is weirdly messy and the animatronics do get weirdly scratched up and dirty.
I’m not sure about all of this but the idea that Gregory wasn’t seeing the pizzaplex as it was and so the actual first game was unreliable because it was through his eyes is such an interesting and cool take that I’m losing my mind over it
Unfortunately for John we are not playing as Vanessa. Every scene in this trailer shows green nail polish on the fingers (some of them have the smallest pixel of finger with green nail polish coming from the bottom of the screen) or a frame of her bracelet and/or her jacket and it’s no different in the Vanessa mask scene unfortunately. No I think we are strictly playing as Cassie in all of these scenes sadly.
This weeks has been a major blast for the community. 🎉
The pizzaplex hitting into a ruin could actually be a lot quicker than we think- within weeks/ days rather than far in the future. The place caught fire and with it being over a sinkhole? Quick once it collapses.

Thank you! I don't know why so many people are looking at the pizza plex and assuming it has been like years. It would be shut down and abandoned pretty quickly after nearly burning down completely, and I have seen places get broken into and covered in graffiti after only a few days of being abandoned. This dlc probably takes place after SB, like 2 weeks to a month at most. A time skip going over a year would be ridiculous.
That's possible! But at some point (it's at 0:31 of the original trailer) there's a tree growing out the ground, so I think it's definitely been a while

However, weren't there already plants in the pizzaplex and we can't see a lot of it but if the pizzaplex did sink into the sink hole couldn't some of the planets have gotten destroyed or moved to other places if their containers stayed in tact. Not being long after could explain the plants not being more withered. Of course, the plants from the pizzaplex could be fake, so I won't use that as an argument too much.
@@VioletKitsune10 Yeah, there were plants in the pizzaplex, but regardless of if they were real or not they were clearly placed with intention - they're potted or made with some other clear design choice. However, the tree in the Ruin trailer seemed to grow out of the ground, which doesn't seem intentional. To me that looks like nature reclaiming land. Also, I don't think the pizzeria actually "sank" - or at least not fully. In the beginning of the trailer you see the world outside the glass, and the bottom half of the glass of the entrance to the pizzaplex is covered in newspapers, which wouldn't be the case if the pizzaplex had been submerged at all.
But hey, that's just a theory! /j

I think Sun and Moon always used the same body and change between each other depending on rather the lights are on or not. At least, that's how I see it.

I think this is at least a few weeks after SB, I think Cassie is probably Gregory's sister, probably older sister. That would explain why she's willing to go find Gregory, and the fact she has brunette hair, similar to Gregory's hair, helps prove this. Also, no, I don't think we're playing as Vanessa, I think we'll just get her mask.
Yeah I feel like the fire after battling Afton probably would’ve further trashed the animatronics. And the sinkhole caving in would cause a lot of damage. Time has passed but I wouldn’t say years.

I don't think Cassie is related to Gregory because I'm pretty sure he's an orphan. I could be wrong but I don't think orphans can have siblings. Correct me if I'm wrong tho. I also thought that maybe she could be his sister but I don't think it makes too much sense

I’ve been saying it since the initial poster was out. I think the little girl is Cassidy, or a stand-in for her. Many reasons why ranging from how she’s standing in front of a dilapidated statue of Freddy, how the flashlight shone on him give him a golden colour, how Golden Freddy was nowhere to be seen in SB when he’s always around when concerning Afton etc.
Now that we’ve got this girl who’s name is apparently “Cassie”, and how she doesn’t have blonde hair like many assumed (kinda obvious she didn’t since the flashlight was what lit up her front), it doesn’t seem so outlandish or far fetched now like everyone had to,d me when I first poised the suggestion.
Just something to chew on. We’ll see how things go.
I also believe she's Cassidy. I jumped into FNAF wiki to see how she was refered to and little did I know there is "Cassie" listed (although I'm not sure when the wiki was updated and it may be wrong). In this case if we take matpat's theory about two spirits possessing golden Freddy, Gregory knowing Cassidy would almost fully confirm he is indeed the crying child. (Although it's just my scrappy idea formed with the little knowledge i posses about the lore)

I like the screamin guy inside of glitcchtraps pupils towards the end. The whole thing looks very neat. I also love the ending "Don't give up on me" line. It feels like a message to the community after all the negative PR security breach has had in the same vein of Scott's "Canceled due to Leaks" joke.

In this context of this game, yes, color is monopolized by specific characters because thats what scott do. If we get shattered freddy then thats mean Gregory and Freddy never made it out of the mall, but then thats does not make sense because the trailer seems to building up upon the mimic things. If gregory never made it out then the one who talked in the message voice is the real gregory, but then again his voice should be older because of time skip.
The part about the inner pieces shaping an animatronic's appearance is true for IRL animatronics too! They are known as face/body shells and shows like Tex Critter and Circus Playhouse are more notable uses of them :)

If you get in and out of a hiding spot in an area where the atrium isn't loaded, without collecting the map, then trigger Mapbot to jumpscare you while exiting Freddy, he will launch you back to your previous hiding spot. Mapbot has always been the true villain, even Ray McCaffrey said he wanted to throw Mapbot into a volcano

the Fnaf stuff thats coming out is just insane. First we had the Movie trailer, and now this! This is just so insane.
Things I noticed:
-Why do the doors at 8:37 look like the pizzeria sim part of the mall doors?
