My god, 17 minutes, tl;dr Xray: -doesn't come with a body -plastic frontend(caliper and steering block) break easily to the point he doesn't reccomend racing with it and aluminium is crazy expensive -shock standoff break and are expensive to replace -the default setup sheet is very aggressive, not good for a beginner -the receiver box is good(?) -the diffs are good, but be careful not to overfill them -doesn't come with zero rebound caps and are very expensive Sworkz: -body is ugly according to some people (at least it comes with one) -the default setup is also very aggresive -the wing mount breaks easily -he prefers the pillow ball setup -the suspension and diffs are good -some "space" is left in the diffs that make it harder to overfill them -comes with universal driveshafts instead of CVD in xray, didn't say which he prefers
plastic front end on xt8 22 is terrible... to be precise, its not plastic, but that metal insert in stering block. I had one fail every time I use the truggy. Also xray parts are very expencive in usa, not to mention alu front conversion is out of stock everywhere in the world right now. Other than that, car is very fast.
I totally agree with you, the car is very fast but the price for parts is too high also I heard you have shortage of parts in America which is not pleasant for sure.
I am looking and thinking about S35-T2E. I heard they are very durable. Maybe you know how is the part support in europe, are they dificult to get? Is there some weak points with this S35 chassis?
The Sworkz is a great choice and usually MWRCproducts and Mibosport have most of the parts in stock so in terms of parts the support is good. About durability i still havent found a weak point except the wing plastic buttons on top.
@@simplyrc5033 How is the driveability of T2E? How does it feel to drive this model on track (is it light, nimble or heavy)? And in general your opinion on this model (positive or some negativity)? Thanks in advance for your answer;)
The model has great steering this is the first thing I noticed when driven for the first time! When driving the truggy it looks like hpi savage because of the weird body but moves like a buggy. Before that i had the kyosho mp10t and serpent srx8T if i had to choose the best of all i had i go with the sworkz 1st Serpent 2nd Xray 3th (because of the optional parts needed) and kyosho 4th
