can someone please tell me why ellefson isn' t in the band anymore? i know he left/ got kicked in 2002. Wasn't that the year dave got that nerve damage thing on his arm? and the band broke up?
well megadeth would never have been known if dave wasnt in metallica b4 bcuz ppl just got curious about who was that ex guitarist from metallica and got to know the band he formed even dave said it alot of megadeth's song have rifts and some have lyrics of metallica's song like and and and and theres many more . but megadeth > metallica for sure
never heard a better thing said about the whole megadeth metallica feud megadeth have one bad album (risk) but metallica have many more two of the greatest influences in music in the past 25 years
I like Chris Broderick, he's a really talented guy, absolutely no question. But Marty Friedman was my favorite, simply because of his lack of interest in metal music and more of a pop sensibility. I really think that gave Megadeth a more unique sound up until The World Needs a Hero, which lacked Marty, dooming it to be a standard heavy metal affair, albeit a good record.
@metallicdethwolf He always liked pop, he was never much of a big metal fan in the first place and there's nothing wrong with trying out different types of music
