This game has serious potential, I NEVER would've expected to put 50+ hours into a demo lol
Same, even with so little content, it shines even at that
Reminds me of being a kid and playing some of the first games I ever played on PS2 through demo disks. Some of the best video game fun I have had in years!
I downloaded your game.
I tried it.
I thought it was a fun little melee combat game inspired by QWOP.
I thought the Death Scythe Dude was the final boss, and that his weapon was chosen for its cheese level.
Then I realized just how much thought was put into the way your inactive hand "helps" your main hand perform HEMA techniques, like when you go both hands limp into right hand thrustmode after initiating a strike to control your hips for a strong, shallow attack, or switch from left to right as your weapon connects for a power swing.
Then I parried Death Scythe Dude's face in with Chivalry II-like finesse.
Then I found a shortsword, and actually chambered the next AI who tried me.
As someone who trains formally in German long sword, and trains informally in shaolinquan weaponry, this game is the closest I have come to feeling like I am sparring with someone at the guild!

Been playing the demo and I can honestly flat out say that I’m thrilled to have found a gem of a game like this. There’s so much potential for it, and I’m excited to see this game grow in the future!

If the multiplayer option is ever brought to the table by developers, its gonna be an atomic hit to say the least, something of a Mordhau/Chivalry successor, perhaps on a smaller scale though.

Absolutely frickin amazing!!! Guys, please do more of these. Honestly, never expected ya'll to release a devlog, especially one with this level of quality. It was very interesting to look at, and the only gripe i have with it is that its too short haha. Keep it up fellas!

Guys! I’ve been playing the demo on steam for about 5 hours now, I can’t stop! The combat is amazing, it looks amazing, It’s really really good! I don’t think I have ever been this hyped for a game! Keep doing what your doing and I cannot wait for the final build!

That metal looks so good. I'm glad to see a dedication to accuracy, especially since you guys pull it off so incredibly and it adds a very unique style, counterintuitively.
Its a good balance of Medieval combat accuracy and ragdoll comedy, looks really cool

Bruh I got nearly 10 hours already, love the gore, grew up with manhunt and some other stuff but the npc reaction is really sicknecking and devastating, will try to help kickstarter for sure given the oportunity

Excellent game you guys have here. Have poured many hours into the demo so far. Would absolutely love an explanation for the system behind the balancing active ragdolls. Best i've seen so far outside of proprietary technology.

Hey I beat the demo and it was super tough but so much fun :-) You guys earned a long time supporter for sure! This is just such a cool concept and I love the wobbly knights! A full game experience would be to die for haha

I'm loving the game so far I have been playing it for 4 months now when I want Carnage. I love the mechanics the only thing I wish could be improved is the fps, even on low settings I can't get 120 fps. Keep up the great work!!!

I apriciate your work your art and your game so much !! this is the game i have been wanting to play for years and years and now u to amazing men have blessed up with the perfection we have all been waiting for. i can play for hours and hours and still have so much fun . I play games like chivalry 2 like its my religion lol i can even imagine how fun this game will be in future this demo is the only demo iv been obsessed with ever and see my self play over and over again .the level of death detail u guys have put into the game is truly amazing the sence of real is 1000% there not only can i chop people into little pieces and rip out thier intestines and beat them with their own organs and body parts their vocal lines and suffering and pain really stands out to me. im gona send this clip to all my mates i wana support u guys full on i love what you are doing keep up the awesome work and again thank you so much for the free demo its truly so much fun and its only 1.5gb big but they got bosses and the danger increases after killing a boss till u eventually beat the final boss and when u do win they dont force u back to the start u can keep fighting till you die i love i have allot more positive things to say but if i do im gona have to write a book on how much i love this game XD
