PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW SOME FACTS ON HONDA NX500. 1. COSTS 7.78 LAKHS WITH ALL ACCESSORIES (ON ROAD PRICE IS AROUND 6.9 LAKHS). 2. IT IS A CBU. BEING A CBU YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR SOME PARTS IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN. 3. PARTS ARE COSTLY, NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD. R.E HIMALAYAN / TOURER 650 MIGHT BE COSTING AROUND 4.5 LAKHS. IT HAS A VERY RELIABLE ENGINE (TRIED & TESTED WORLD WIDE). THE ONLY CONCERNS WOULD BE AROUND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT & FRAME. SO LETS SEE WHAT COMES OUT OF R.E STABLE.
interceptor k bhi spy shot aa rahe h front me dual disk , tft screen same as himalyan & bear 650, dual exust bhi thode different h matlab weight kam hua h, no usd, tail light or turn indicator same h interceptor bear ki tarha or ye bhi suna ja raha h ki engine ko bump up kiya h 650se se 750cc
Royal Enfield is doing great and coming with great motorcycles and establishing new milestones. Himalayan 450 in liquid cooled engine is good enough. As a employee in RE I really want a 650 cc bike in liquid cooled engine and a adventure bike something around 900cc that will create history in indian motorcycle community.
I somehow feel this I'd just s rumour. Himalayan 650 would not add too much to the power figures already present in 450. The engine would have to be completely revisited to increase the power and torque figures that would incite people to shell out more money over 450. And the weight... adventure riding cannot be dun.with a bike that weighs more than 250 kgs. That means a complete overhaul of the xhassis frame which would be lighter as well as strong. The Himalayan 650 project seems not a very economic viable decision even if it truly come out.
The 650 won’t even give much better hp and torque, bro. If it’s coming from the intercepter, the bear 650 has 46bhp and 56nm torque vs 40bph and 40nm of the 450. Plus the extra weight gain from frame stability, suspensions, and engine might yield a slower 0-100km or 0-60mph. They’d have to bump the hp and torque of the 650 to make it viable for me. The 450 is an already awesome platform with great features. The only thing it lacks is more speed. I’d say do a bigger bore on the existing Sherpa 450 engine with cams and such, bringing it up to 500 or 550 would be better. Save on weight and time
what type of bike is a Himalayan? If it’s a adventure touring motorcycle then 650 will be too heavy. Royal Enfield knows that too that’s why they put an 450 engine on Himalayan. But if they make a sports touring motorcycle then definitely i will consider.
heavier . sure but if they are doing what they did to the bear and get the same torque and horse power. it will actually be a bit more power then the 450. so it will be a plus. if they did put more money down onto a bigger engine like an 850 well it will always be a bulkier bike. the size and weight growth is happening regardless. counter point is if they got the bear to be a bit lighter then i believe they could at least keep the weight to a minimum growth. but this is wishing and wanting from America. i will love it if it's the 650 twin.
This bike will only make sense if they can bring this bike to weigh just as much as the new bear 650. And I guess power isn't increasing either as they might be targeting the A2 segment in foreign markets. So a 250 kilo Adv bike with 47 bhp simply doesn't make sense. They also need to make the bike tall ( having long travel suspension and good ground Clearance) and also keep the centre of gravity close to the ground so that the bike doesn't feel top heavy as the Himalayan 450. Comparing this to bigger bikes won't make sense because First thing, they have so much power and torque to overcome that weight, also their R&D is so top notch that once you start going, you don't even feel the weight ( doesn't feel top heavy at all )
Hello Vikas Bhai, I've been riding a 2020 Pulsar 125 for the past four years. I'm considering an upgrade but want to share that I'm not very confident with riding at speeds over 100 km/h. For my next bike, I'm hoping to take long road trips every two weeks, so comfort is a top priority for me. I've looked at models like the Meteor, CB350, Hunter, and Ronin, but I'm not sure which one to choose. Could you please help me make a decision? Many Thanks!
Hi Bro, Himalayan 650 cannot be practical in Indian market, 230 kgs kerb weight min so it's difficult for indian avg height buddies to manage 230 plus heavy weight machine..

Thanks for watching Buddy! and thanks for the inputs.
Honda NX500 is all you need in India.
Price thora cut
You'll save even if you buy a 650 but yes Honda's reliability, smoothness is on another level
Very well said
Honda is Honda after all
They're not even able to produce or provide the nx500 to existing bookings in our city.
🤡
Vikas bhai, you can also think of bear 650 ... Reduce some more weight on it as it has more torque
True brother. Thanks for watching!
The only motivation I can imagine to put the 2 cylinder 650 motor in a Himalayan, would be to make it even heavier.
Buddies! No. Will wait 2 years post launch knowing RE's exceptional commitment to high quality and unparalleled QC they have in place.
It is going to be 800-850 cc. That explains the dual disc. People in the uk have already been able to rebore the interceptor to 895 cc
While they introduced interceptor first then I mentioned my friends about these ideas...

EICMA 2024 - Bear 650, 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R, Classic 650, Aprilia Tuono 457, Xpulse 210, Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, New Hero Mavrick 440
May be introduce with 750-800 cc

Dismo garage was offering twin rotor setup for interceptor as after market fit
Thanks for info brother...

Luv from Nuzvid 💐💐💐
Thanks for watching Buddy!
Just curious to know , how many bikes do Vikas bhai own at present.
Is he gonna add anything new in the coming years.
Thanks for the support brother. Because of nature's grace, I have 12 motorcycles (my lovers) with me.
@rvkvikas Feeks like to watch all the 12 gf's once in a video
Need xpulse pod cast
Sure brother. Thanks for watching!
@ hello tarun bro. I purchased new vehicle. I had some issue in 1 month with in 500kms. Battery 🔋 stopped working.
They replaced new battery. Is it something to worry about?
It is like marrying a sumo wrestler to a wwf poser. Nothing will get done.
Vikas bhai, plan a meetup in Hyd
Thank you brother. Sure...
Please speak on the new SUZUKI GSX-8R💙
After a long gap
Unless it is at least 80 to 100 kgs lighter
I have seen many Himalayan bikes frame just break from the neck.....
Hi Bro, Himalayan 650 cannot be practical in Indian market, 230 kgs kerb weight min so it's difficult for indian avg height buddies to manage 230 plus heavy weight machine..
Extra 20 kg for just power increase of 7 bhp is not worth it
No, I wouldn’t. It’ll way a ton, with an uncompetitive power and torque output.
It's gonna be heavier side brooooo😅😅😅😅
It's gonna be a 800cc not 650
Customer will beta test as usual . RE should cool off with 650 engine and launch v twin 800 + cc engine
Thanks for watching Buddy!
