My favorite thing about washi tape on this video is the many ways you are amazed by your first time. It made me laugh a few times and I loved how you enjoyed it too. I have over 50 rolls and I use them for inside my cards, make strips cards, and also on envelopes. I've never visited The Washi Tape shop until just recently and I'm really happy they have free shipping (+$20 USD) for internationals like me (Canada). Good job on your cards!
I have never really known what to do with washi tape. It is one of those things that just sits in a drawer. You have given me the inspiration to get it out of the drawer and start playing with it.
My favorite way to use Washi tape is to make little flag labels for cables. Makes it easy when multiple cords are plugged into a power strip to see which one is for the printer, computer, desk lamp, etc. I love all your ideas, too!
Your cards are beautiful. So many ideas with embossing folders washi etc. I enjoy using washi tape in my journals. For borders. I liked how you rolled the washi tape a couple times on your magnet and left the little handle of tape for a flap. The container you have them in was awesome. Thank you for the chance to enter for WASHI tape.
I think washi tapes are must haves for any stationery adept! They are so pretty, and there are no limits to adding them in the stationery collection! Anyway, every bit of this video was so good! The Washi Tape Shop has so many...SO MANY different types of washi tapes! I am a real stationery lover and I would love to try out some of them!
Oh my gosh I love all the ways you used the washi tape on the cards. I have some washi tape but I usually used them in the past on my planners. Now I'm going to make some beautiful cards. It's hard to pick a favorite because I love all the ones you created.
I think the ones with the whale were just perfect. I have the flower petals. I find I need to add glue but they are pretty. I use washi on cards and also scrapbook pages as border. You can also make photo mats to match the border. The washi tape store has amazing designs. You did great for first time.
I have never used washi tape before. I loved how you used it on the Always In My Heart. The glittery tape and designer tape then cutting it out was beautiful. Every card was remarkable. I like that Washi tape holder that you found on Amazon.
My favorite ways to use washi tape is in my planner as a trim border along the top and bottom of the layout as well as using them as headers for my boxes. I also do glue booking and I like to use it on the vertical line along the middle of the two adjoining pages. It helps strengthen the binding as well as blends the two pages together. Thanks for this video, I loved it!
I have used washi tape to cover a wooden block, added a round doorknob and furniture protector square on the bottom and I now have my own tool to press down on my stamping platform for even pressure. My version of the "Debbie tool" works a treat and looks fantastic!
I have washi tape, never used. Go to buy more...'cause, you know....but can't figure out what to do with them. I did like the space one and the die cut w pink washi. So....2 favorites...lol
When you covered the Cardstock and then used a die to cut out a shape to create two different cards. Especially liked that this would work no matter how ornate or plain the shape is.
So pleased you remembered those of us outside the USA. Great video, super fast, full of ideas. I haven't used Washi tape but I loved your use of mirroring on the card and how you make sure nothing goes to waste. I would love to enter your giveaway. Looking forward to watching many more of your videos.
Thanks for this great introduction to this company. . The wave wash you used made an amazing card! I really appreciate how you showed this with Stampin Up products too!
I absolutely love your space card, but your heart card was the bomb. I love using Washi Tape in my Junk Journals. You opened up a whole new world of ideas for me. Thank you so much!
I loved all of your uses for the washing tape. But I think using it on the envelope is genius! Rather than fiddling around with pattern paper and trying to cut it the right size, just add washing tape & it’s done! I will definitely be using that idea a lot!
I like to use it on cards mostly. Making stripes or edges like you showed, or creating little banners by folding in half over a string and cutting a "v" into the bottom.
I have a box full of old Stampin Up washi tapes. I found that I needed to add glue because they wouldn't stay stuck. I use them to hold down my dies now. I LOVE all the cards you made. Those washis are gorgeous. I especially like the ones that are more like a sticker. I'll have to give them a try. Thanks for a great video!
I used washi tape as a border on my cards. I sure love the washi tape you use for your cards today, wow how lovely they are. My favourite was the card in which you used two washi tape side by side with the whale, that card is magnificent.
I was amazed by all of your ideas/uses of washi tape, but most impressed of an idea I would've never thought of that is putting it behind a die cut out "Happy"
My favorite way is to use it as backgrounds on my scrapbook layouts. I even have some that are black and white that I have colored with my alcohol markers and it turns out so cute! I love how you used different tapes together to get such cute backgrounds.
Your video on washi tape is excellent. I learned a lot and got several inspiring ideas. I like to use washi as you did, lining strips up on cardstock and using it for dies. I do several sheets at one time so I have a variety of designs and colors ready to uchoose from when I am die cutting for cards. It's a fun way to cut beautiful letters. Hint: when I have a washi tape that is not reliably sticky I just add a few tiny dots of liquid glue.
Thanks for sharing! I just discovered Washi tape to cover the inside border of a recycled baby book to gift. It was a request of the parents to gift a recycled book with something written inside. I ordered a fabulous book but had the child's name written at the top corner of the inside of the book. The Washi tape worked well to cover that, and then I wrote a blessing inside and signed the book. So then I thought, "what am I going to do with the rest of the Washi tape?" Voila! This video came up! Thank you so much, I never would have thought to layer and die cut! I love that! Awesome work 💗
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you for sharing! You really made some beautiful cards with that washi. I’ve only seen one other video on the uses of washi tape. This woman put the washi tape on her cardstock like you did but then she embossed it with an embossing folder and the results were beautiful! Thanks again for teaching us how to use washi tape to make beautiful cards! ♥️
This is the coolest washi tape I’ve ever seen. The color are awesome. You are amazing. You whip these cards up in no time. The cards are beautiful. Love them. How can a person pick out a favorite when they’re all so dang beautiful. I actually like the astronauts for fun and the heart one with your new type of bows. The few times I’ve used washi I’ve used it on the edge of my cards anc then a strip in the inside.
I love washi tape! I like to butt several different patterns, colors and metallics together on card stock and then use word dies, heart dies, frames etc.
Thank you, diagonally applying washi is a Great visual technique. Little detail incorporating the gravity tug on the little space guy so precious.Melany from Ontario Canada. Card making my fav.craft

I use washi tape on 4x6 inch index cards. I put in on a diagonal, then glue a blank card on the back for a postcard. Or I cut it in half the long way for a bookmark and punch a hole at one end for ribbon. So much fun. Thanks for all your suggestions.
Those really are pretty washi tapes! I don't use mine a lot, because sometimes I just don't think to use it. I found some a couple of years ago from Pinkfresh, I think, that is 6 inches wide. Hi I am fairly new to crafting and had never heard of washi tape until recently. I love the way you co ordinate your card and envelope with the tape. Loved the wide water themed one.
You had great ideas with these washi tapes. The cards are just so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. So glad I found you. Not only are the cards gorgeous but these tapes are just as gorgeous. Happy crafting...
I had a few green washi tapes, so I cut really simple tall triangles from card, covered them in the different green tapes, and hey-presto - Christmas trees! Made a really nice focal point on clean and simple cards.
Oh my, loved this video!!! I haven’t used washi tape, but totally loved the way you made the card and used the negative and positive side! Wow, what a good idea! Thank you so much for sharing that!
I just loved this video! I had some washi tape I bought from Michael’s only to realize from your video that not all washi tapes are the same! These look like they stick well, which I just love. I almost gave up hope on washi tape until I saw this video. It has re-inspired me-Thank You!!! I have used washi tape on an angle on cards and left a space between the different patterns and sizes. I have also decorated tea lights and placed them in handmade little cake boxes with an acetate window. I will definitely be ordering this washi tape as I am now a believer that some washi tapes stick better than others! Again, thank you so much for the great video and demos. ❤️🇨🇦
Awww I'm so happy that my video gave you hope again! Don't give up, just be sure to always try to get the best quality you can. That may not always be the least expensive, but it's worth it. As if it's no good it's a total waste of money right? Thanks for the comment LadyHawk, I hope to see you again 💗😊
Thank you for all the great ideas. I have lots of washi but rarely use it. I liked the first one with the leaf and the background on the HAPPY. The space and heart ones were great too, well heck, love them all.
I love all of your valentine cards. They have a very romantic yet innocent look to them thanks for your great ideas. I have never used washi tape but you have opened up a whole new Pandora’s box for me thank you. I can’t wait to try this. Love it love it love it.
You were so correct, insane amount of washi to choose from, I ended up grabbing their Winter Holiday set(roaming reindeer) and some single pretty florals… i figured I will try them out and if they work for me then I know I will go back for more for sure! Awesome video, I loved all of your ideas. I’ve never used washi before, so I’m excited to try them out. I fell in love with your pastel glitter and pink/purple heart card, especially the way you utilized the inside cut and the outside cuts, both cards were so pretty. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us all. ❤️
Any choice of patterns are a good choice in their shop huh? I'm happy you were able to narrow it down to something and are excited to get your new goodies!! Have fun and Happy "Taping" lol 💗😊
Loved how you used multiple washis on your cards and especially enjoyed how you cut a die out of the washi tapes you placed on the card stock. I’m like a one washi at a time user but now you’ve given me so many ideas especially making my own designed die cuts. We’re those magnets you wrapped the tape around. I got lost on that part of the demo. Thanks for your demo.
I have some washi tapes, and haven't used them. I really like the way you used them for a die cut image, and then used both the positive and negative images.
I haven’t used washi tape. I love the way you used the wide washi and put one on the traditional way and then flipped the second one under. Came out beautiful. These washi ‘s apply nicely I’ve seen some crafters struggle with them
And that's exactly why I have never used them! "Fear of the struggle" But I sure am happy I finally took the plunge. They are so easy to work with and with little effort deliver amazing results 😊💗
Hi, That was a great video on washi tape, love all your cards and idea's, my fav is the heart one's they are so pretty and your storing them in those containers would be nice display on your desk top, thanks again, Cheers Anna, Australia.
All your ideas with the Washi tape were great! I loved all of them, I have used Washi tape on my cards and can't wait to try out some new ways of using it. Thanks for the great video.
Stampin' Up! had washi tape for a few years, and I really miss it! I love it for die cuts, the way you used it for the Valentine cards and also as a filler for negative space.
I sometimes use washi tape on back of envelopes and a matching strip on inside of card. I love your thick gold strip on front of card. LOVE the scene with the whale. Thank you for the great ideas.

I have never really known what to do with washi tape. It is one of those things that just sits in a drawer. You have given me the inspiration to get it out of the drawer and start playing with it.

Thanks for this video, I loved it!
I love the washi tape that was cut with die cuts. Love the glitter washi!
My fave use of the tape you used is the upside use! Simply beautiful end result.
I love how you laid coordinating strips on the card and then cut the heart out of it. The outline left of the heart was too pretty.
I have used washi tape to cover a wooden block, added a round doorknob and furniture protector square on the bottom and I now have my own tool to press down on my stamping platform for even pressure. My version of the "Debbie tool" works a treat and looks fantastic!
Beautiful cards! I love all the great ideas! My favorite use of washi tape is covering my plastic light switch covers.
I have washi tape, never used. Go to buy more...'cause, you know....but can't figure out what to do with them. I did like the space one and the die cut w pink washi. So....2 favorites...lol

I love that you use Washi tape on the outside of the envelope and inside of your card.
Never used washi tape, but I loved when you used it with your dies and had 2 cards.
I love that you used die cuts on strips of the washi tape. I mainly use washi for my junk journal embellishments. Your cards are all beautifully done!
I’ve never used them before. I love how you used them to make cards.
I absolutely love your space card, but your heart card was the bomb. I love using Washi Tape in my Junk Journals. You opened up a whole new world of ideas for me. Thank you so much!
I definitely love using wash tape for backgrounds. The wide wash is my fav!!!!!

Loved your ideas for Washi tape. My fave was matching your envelopes and card inserts with a small strip of tape. Makes a complete pkg.
I like to use it on cards mostly. Making stripes or edges like you showed, or creating little banners by folding in half over a string and cutting a "v" into the bottom.
I love how you put the washi tape on the card stock and cut out the heart with the yellow & orange washi tape. So beautiful
I loved all your ideas! My favorite cards used the wide washi tape with the whales. So fun and fast! Washi on the magnets is a must! Great samples.
I never thought about using washi tape over dark card stock. That night sky over black was awesome!
I have a box full of old Stampin Up washi tapes. I found that I needed to add glue because they wouldn't stay stuck. I use them to hold down my dies now. I LOVE all the cards you made. Using the Washi for borders is a great idea Carolle!! 😁💗
I agree I love those 2 cards she made with that pattern.
I love how you used the washi and then die cut the shapes! Great ideas. Especially not wasting any of it. Thank you!
I was amazed by all of your ideas/uses of washi tape, but most impressed of an idea I would've never thought of that is putting it behind a die cut out "Happy"

I don't have a foiling machine, so I love using metallic washi tape to add a shiny, metallic element to the front of a card. 🙂
I really enjoyed this video!
Thank you for sharing!
You really made some beautiful cards with that washi.

Thanks again for teaching us how to use washi tape to make beautiful cards! ♥️
Never used it before, but I really liked the way you used it as a card background, and the use of the scraps on the card inserts.
The few times I’ve used washi I’ve used it on the edge of my cards

Awww thanks so much Barbara. You're so sweet 💗😊

The washi tapes at The Washi Tape Shop are so original! There aren't enough words to explain how beautiful they are.
I enjoyed every part of this video! The cards are so succulent!
I would love to try out these wonderful washi tapes...they are so pretty!
Aww thanks Deblina 😊💗
Super great video. I haven't used washi tape before but I'm in love with the Valentine cards!
I 💜 The Washi Tape Shop!!! They have so many beautiful designs that you don't find anywhere else. I'm a planner girl, so I use washi in my planner. Because of some dexterity issues I've started putting it on things that I have trouble picking up, similar to the way you use it on your magnets, I put it on containers so that I can tell them apart, I make page flags with it... It would probably be easier to tell what I DON'T use it for. LoL Thanks for the tip about the dispensers. I've seen them but was afraid they'd tear into the washi too far.
Haha too funny... "easier to tell what I DON'T use it for" I'm getting a visual that's making me giggle! 😂😂💗
I have used washi tape on faux leather bracelets. I love ALL washi tape!
I use washi tape on 4x6 inch index cards. I put in on a diagonal, then glue a blank card on the back for a postcard. Or I cut it in half the long way for a bookmark and punch a hole at one end for ribbon. So much fun. Thanks for all your suggestions.
I love, love, love washi tape. I use it to make cards; I use it in my planner, and I mix it in collage work.
Those really are pretty washi tapes! I don't use mine a lot, because sometimes I just don't think to use it. I found some a couple of years ago from Pinkfresh, I think, that is 6 inches wide. They have a matching die to cut out the florals, and also the stamps to match, so when the washi runs out, you can stamp the florals. They are so cute! It's a bit harder to work with to get it all unrolled and adhered to the cardstock with it being so wide, but they are really pretty. I like how you die cut pieces from the washi and used both parts on cards!
Isn't that our problem most of the time? We have so many things we forget to use them?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
I liked how you used the washi tape as a background on your cards😍
I love the washi tape handles on your Stamparatus magnets! I also love the washi tape storage containers! Sooooo stinkin’ cute! 🥰
Thanks Natasha 💗😊
Hi I am fairly new to crafting and had never heard of washi tape until recently. I love the way you co ordinate your card and envelope with the tape. Loved the wide water themed one.
You had great ideas with these washi tapes. The cards are just so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing all of this with us. So glad I found you. Not only are the cards gorgeous but these tapes are just as gorgeous. Happy crafting...
Thank you so much! 😊💗
I love to use washi tape on my cards and scrap book pages. I love the idea of using a strip and putting on the envelope also. Can't wait to try that.
I had a few green washi tapes, so I cut really simple tall triangles from card, covered them in the different green tapes, and hey-presto - Christmas trees! Made a really nice focal point on clean and simple cards.
That's a great idea! 😁💗
I love how you die cut the washi tape. All your cards were beautiful.
I use washi tape but I have never thought to use it as a background like you did with the astronauts and hearts! OMG!!!! I am so going to do that!!!
Oh my, loved this video!!! I haven’t used washi tape, but totally loved the way you made the card and used the negative and positive side! Wow, what a good idea! Thank you so much for sharing that!

I loved the wide washi tape and how you put it at an angel on your cards.
The wide one was awesome! I would certainly get more of that type in he future. It goes on fast and covers so much 😁💗
I love the washi tape card where you put the different sizes and different tapes. So cute.
I love the way you used them for backgrounds. I am hooked. My brain is moving like a freight train right now. 😂
The heart washi cards are beautiful.
I use washi tape on cards so much now. My favorite “look” is with lines of washi at the top or bottom of a card. It adds such a creative touch!
Thank you for sharing such amazing ideas with us and the community Cindy!
Thanks for reaching out to me! This was a lot of fun xo 💗
I have used washi tape as a border and have used it all over the cardstock too. You made very nice cards. Glad I watched.
Thank you for all the great ideas. I have lots of washi but rarely use it. I liked the first one with the leaf and the background on the HAPPY. The space and heart ones were great too, well heck, love them all.
Love your washi tape cards,. My brain is spinning with ideas now…

Love, love, love The Washi Tape Shop!!
They're magnets for my stamp positioning tools (Linked below) 😁💗
I have some washi tapes, and haven't used them. I really like the way you used them for a die cut image, and then used both the positive and negative images.
I have use Washi tape for years and love, love what I can due, and really is addictive! Love your ideas!
I use it on my magnets too! but my favorite use is to hold my dies from moving when diecutting
I have never used washi tapes before, but I liked the stellar birthday in the outer space card. It was cute.
I would very much want to try it
I have made backgrounds with them. I loved how you cutout the hearts. Beautiful.
Just when I think I'm over who washi tape, I'm pulled back in. The are beautiful!
My favourite way to use washi tape is to edge journal pages to add interest and to strengthen them. Yvonne
New to using washe tape. I use it to seal envelopes with clear tape over top to protect it going through the mail machines.

Stampin' Up! had washi tape for a few years, and I really miss it! I love it for die cuts, the way you used it for the Valentine cards and also as a filler for negative space.
Would be nice to see them get it again. That is, if it's as good as this stuff! 💗😁🤞
