I 💜 The Washi Tape Shop!!! They have so many beautiful designs that you don't find anywhere else. I'm a planner girl, so I use washi in my planner. Because of some dexterity issues I've started putting it on things that I have trouble picking up, similar to the way you use it on your magnets, I put it on containers so that I can tell them apart, I make page flags with it... It would probably be easier to tell what I DON'T use it for. LoL Thanks for the tip about the dispensers. I've seen them but was afraid they'd tear into the washi too far.

The cards are beautiful. Love them. How can a person pick out a favorite when they’re all so dang beautiful. I actually like the astronauts for fun and the heart one with your new type of bows. The few times I’ve used washi I’ve used it on the edge of my cards

I just loved this video! I had some washi tape I bought from Michael’s only to realize from your video that not all washi tapes are the same! These look like they stick well, which I just love. I almost gave up hope on washi tape until I saw this video. It has re-inspired me-Thank You!!! I have used washi tape on an angle on cards and left a space between the different patterns and sizes. I have also decorated tea lights and placed them in handmade little cake boxes with an acetate window. I will definitely be ordering this washi tape as I am now a believer that some washi tapes stick better than others! Again, thank you so much for the great video and demos. ❤️🇨🇦

My favorite ways to use washi tape is in my planner as a trim border along the top and bottom of the layout as well as using them as headers for my boxes.
I also do glue booking and I like to use it on the vertical line along the middle of the two adjoining pages. It helps strengthen the binding as well as blends the two pages together.
Thanks for this video, I loved it!

Those really are pretty washi tapes! I don't use mine a lot, because sometimes I just don't think to use it. I found some a couple of years ago from Pinkfresh, I think, that is 6 inches wide. They have a matching die to cut out the florals, and also the stamps to match, so when the washi runs out, you can stamp the florals. They are so cute! It's a bit harder to work with to get it all unrolled and adhered to the cardstock with it being so wide, but they are really pretty. I like how you die cut pieces from the washi and used both parts on cards!

You really made some beautiful cards with that washi.
I’ve only seen one other video on the uses of washi tape. This woman put the washi tape on her cardstock like you did but then she embossed it with an embossing folder and the results were beautiful!
Thanks again for teaching us how to use washi tape to make beautiful cards! ♥️

Appreciated all your creativeness using the washi tape. I think I miss a lot of opportunities on using it & I have a ton of it. Your samples were all so pretty. One of my pet peeves is wanting to use some on a card & sometimes their stickiness just doesn't fill me with confidence & I am afraid part of it will let loose. Of course, most of yours were secured around the back so they would stay. Very pretty cards. TFS. I probably use my washi the most by doing diagonal lines & using die cuts to cut shapes or die cut a shape, like a tree on card front, leaving washi filled card attached behind it. I'm tired. That makes no sense. Lol I would like to be entered in your giveaway. Thank u.

Your video on washi tape is excellent. I learned a lot and got several inspiring ideas. I like to use washi as you did, lining strips up on cardstock and using it for dies. I do several sheets at one time so I have a variety of designs and colors ready to uchoose from when I am die cutting for cards. It's a fun way to cut beautiful letters. Hint: when I have a washi tape that is not reliably sticky I just add a few tiny dots of liquid glue.

I use washi tape on 4x6 inch index cards. I put in on a diagonal, then glue a blank card on the back for a postcard. Or I cut it in half the long way for a bookmark and punch a hole at one end for ribbon. So much fun. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Thanks for sharing! I just discovered Washi tape to cover the inside border of a recycled baby book to gift. It was a request of the parents to gift a recycled book with something written inside. I ordered a fabulous book but had the child's name written at the top corner of the inside of the book. The Washi tape worked well to cover that, and then I wrote a blessing inside and signed the book. So then I thought, "what am I going to do with the rest of the Washi tape?" Voila! This video came up! Thank you so much, I never would have thought to layer and die cut! I love that! Awesome work 💗

Very informative video Cindy-Lynn. I mostly use washi tape to hold my dies in place, just stick it and unpeel it from the back of your hand a couple of times to make it less tacky. Job’s a good ‘un! Also, using backing paper to trace around any design, flip it over, cover it with Washi tape. Turn it back over so you can see your tracing line and cut out your shape, ta da, you have Washi tape stickers for your projects.
Thank you for sharing, I love your ideas. 😀

I have used the narrow packs of wasy tape to hold my dies in place on the paper for cutting. I u
se it to mark a corner on the stamparatus mat pad to position where the cards or templat sheets want to be for mass producing cards with layers. Also use it to hold diecuts in place both on the cardstock when die cutting more than one at a time. This also works I f you put on the dies you have laid out as you want to cut them. Place the tape over the dies in such a way that you can pull them off of the paper that you just cut & lay them right down in the same order on the next piece to be cut & press them in place while cutting. A piece of wasy tape can be laid across a card center or diagonally alone or along the edge of a piece of masking paper to stamp or brush & blend one side of the card while leaving the opposite side the base color. Washy tape also can be used to mark off measurements for cutting card layers the same for mass producing cards. Cutting goes way faster when you line you paper up to the tape edge & cut without needing to look up fractions of inches each time on the marked guide. Washy tape is eSy to use to dress up your storage containers to coordinate the look of you craft area. Handy stuff & that's the tape that comes off the roll & sticks down old style.
