Yeah….to your point, ND’s starting D held Army to 136 yds rushing on 43 attempts through 3 quarters ….it wasn’t until ND’s 3rd string D played they entire 4th Q that they moved the ball an additional 71 yds rushing.
ND shouldn't be ranked that high or getting a pass for the playoffs because they don't have to ever play in a conference championship. ND is overrated and I bet some booster over there giving money to the college playoffs committee money to get them in
ND 3rd best defense in the nation!…..Ya holding them to just 3 yards a carry and almost every time the QB did decide to throw the ball they almost turned into interceptions… Army had to work hard to even earn those 14 points and the final 7 under a minute and a half in the fourth quarter…..

Big10 is playing the long game. Locked down the top four media markets. USC, UCLA, UW will be catching up soon. Even NW, with its great new will be a player in three years.

I don’t agree with them being at 3 but cmon dude they have the #1 rank defense but they don’t belong? They don’t lose to lesser competition like half of the other teams. You wanna talk about Indiana? Penn State beat an average Minnesota squad while Alabama, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss lost to average and subpar SEC teams. It's all win, survive, and advance in the current College Football playoff format!
Minnesota is not an average squad. They play tough and physical footie. All their losses have been a one score loss this year. With a little luck they could've easily been 8-2 going into this match.
Penn state doesn’t deserve to be so highly rated tho. They deserve to hang out with SMU near the bottom of the rankings. 0 quality wins, almost lost to USC and Minnesota. The best thing about their resume is a loss to OSU. How can a loss be the best thing you’ve done this season😂

The key to beating Alabama has been all year to stop Milroe from running and make him try to beat you with the pass. That is exactly what Oklahoma did, while at the same time their QB ran and ran and ran.
Why is there shame for accurate comments? Texas doesn't have a great SOS, they've beaten basically no good teams. That isn't disrespectful or anything. It is just reality.
ESECPN analyst Heather D puts Bama at #12. What a joke. Should be #20. A 21 pt loss to a 5 loss team and a loss to Vandy yet these same folks were ready to throw the Hoosiers out of the CFP if they lost by 2 TDs to the #2 team. Krazy.🏈🦃
Both should be out of the playoffs for right now. Indiana has played one good team all year and got badly beat. Alabama, as you said, got smoked by a 5 loss team and also lost to Vandy. Neither has a resume worthy of the playoff.
It's about money. Alabama is a huge brand and plays in a 101,000 seat stadium. Being a huge brand means more advertising money for SECSPN(who has exclusive broadcast rights to the playoff. Byant-Denny holds 101,000. The College Football Playoff gets 100% of ticket sales to playoff games. If Alabama gets back in, they'll be seeded no lower than 8th.
Dinich is the worst SEC shrill at SEC. She goes out of her way to prove she does not know ball. She’s already writing articles about how many 3 loss SEC teams should make the playoffs lol
Jim Knowles (Ohio State DC) FINALLY got the courage to dial up pressure early in a big game. The result was spectacular. If he is willing to continue using the best defensive talent in the country in the same way going forward - Ohio State will win a Natty.
Knowles didn’t dial anything up early, and the first quarter should tell any team that has the talent to beat us everything they need to know. If you take the points off the board that were a result of IN’s self-destruction, then this is a one score game. And, if the first quarter was enough, the entire game our corners single-handedly sustains Indiana’s offense with non-stop PI calls. And, it’s been like that since Oregon. I don’t have time to list the issues this team had, and I’m sure you don’t want to read it, but the bottom line is that if Ryan Day can’t get the slop cleaned up, on BOTH sides of the ball, then there’s a chance this team loses to UM AGAIN, and at home, no less……..never MIND compete for a natty. Howard, reminds me a lot of McCord. I don’t know if it’s nerves, or fear, intimidation, or what….but, he’s got a MASSIVE problem (especially early in games) with making horrific passing decisions. His passing rating is up because 90% of his throws are 3-4yrd passes, which is all he feels comfortable with. *This team is $20million worth of slop. If Day doesn’t get it cleaned up, this team has a very real possibility of losing to UM, and never making it to the CFP. But, if they DO make it to the CFP, the absolute best they can hope for is a semi-final loss.*
Ohio state be a blitzing team from here on out. No reason to be setting back and letting teams dictate pace. Osu is hard to beat when they are on the attack as a defense.
@ I hope you’re right…. Maybe Knowles and Day have saved the best for now. If they win out, I’ll be the first to call them geniuses. But, I’m not even REMOTELY convinced of that, given our defense looked like nut-less monkeys against Oregon. And, that leaves me to believe they don’t’ have the answers, and are just slinging mud, hoping something works, as they go (hence 1st half slop throughout the entire Ryan Day era). I hope I’m wrong, and they’re 20-steps ahead of everyone else. This team deserves to have a very special year.
Agree completely. But our ends got a lot of pressure, too, which is exactly what we needed to see. Outstanding performance by the Buckeyes yesterday. Domination in all 3 phases.
I didn’t think differently, I knew osu was going to beat them. Indiana hadn’t played anyone prior to osu and when you play a team with a pulse, you will lose
New coach, new QB, massive amount of new talent through the portal and the first time any Indiana team has won ten games. Why would you expect things to be the same as the last 29 years?
Curt Cignetti is a great Coach Indiana vs OSU wasn't so much Xs&Os but OSU just had better Jimmy's and Joe's Curt Cignetti with a roster loaded with 5&4 stars would be interesting to see
If they can start bringing in recruits and they did lock him down. I still have issue with the sudden IU fans who have never been there for going in 50 years. Fairweather.
I wonder if Ohio State offense isnt “clicking” because they lost their starting LT @ Oregon, the backup LT a week later and their starting potential award winning center 4 days before another top 5 matchup.
The Ole Miss coach had been gambling on 4th and short all year and getting away with it. That high risk gambling finally caught up with him in a game he did not need to gamble to win. So this loss was mostly on the Ole Miss coach. If you are a big underdog, gambling makes sense. But if you are a big favorite, gambling can bite you where it hurts.
Yeah, we're likely to see at least one of the SEC teams that gets invited to the playoff have to go up north. But you're talking as if Tennessee doesn't see freezing temps and snow on a regular basis in Knoxville. Even in Athens, GA we'll be below freezing overnight this weekend. The Georgia team will endure the cold in morning practices, at least. Not the same as playing our games in the snow - but it sure would be a fun experience!
That's just not true. I love college football. But I don't really care who is better between the 7th ranked SEC team and the 6th ranked Big 10 school in the Flint Michigan Mega Bowl. Good.for the kids getting to a bowl game, but I don't need to care about it to like college football. Just like I don't need to care about every playoff game to like the NFL. I love baseball, but I didn't watch a single pitch in a single Brewers game outside of their games against the Yankees.
ND was up 35-0 early 3rd Q vs UVA & then shut it down. UVA called timeout & scored with 18 seconds left against 3rd string to make it 35-14. That game couldn’t have been any closer.
So, those of us who have not fulfilled our hopes and dreams for this season. As a Sooner fan. What are the odds OU gets matched up with USC in the Las Vegas Bowl? A lot of OU's seniors would love for their final game to be against TBOW Lincoln Riley.
Milroe didn't throw the game. I wish people would stop the hate because I'm beginning to think, this is not about football. Prentiss didn't block the guy on an interception. Milroe was responsible to one interception and the other interception Prichard didn't block his guy and Milroe was hit as he was beginning to throw. Do you know, Alabama's offensive line has been grading very low all season?
For those curious, the TD was wiped out because from what I read, there was no eligible receiver on the left side of the LOS. The referees just explained it wrong.
People saying Indiana is not a legit team, will then say how strong the SEC is while AL is scores 3 points against the bottom tier SEC team that was a BIG12 member last year.... SEC is trash
Colorado,, cannot play with any physical football team.. they get whipped physically Devon Neal lacked about 25 yards running the ball than the whole Colorado Offense with Shedaur Sanders And Travis Hunter Playing Offense ! That's Quite A Statement Right There
The Bama Illegal Touching call had NOTHING to do with the outcome of that game. But that officiating crew, and the officiating of all college football, needs to be investigated. I'm beginning to question the whole sports - gambling marriage.
If I remembered correctly, you mentioned that the strength of schedules doesn’t impact Indiana’s ranking. In fact, OSU helped Indiana to identify their weakness Glad that you finally respect and admire OSU’s performance
ASU fan here will be happy regardless if we make the CFP because we are light years ahead of schedule and seem to be in a conference with a power void Football wise so it’s definitely exciting seeing what Dilly has done in such a short time. Dogs and TN that's it SEC calm down and handle your own business before you throw Indiana under the bus. OSU is just now starting to put all the talent together watch out. Go Bucks!
The thing about the NIL with backups leaving when they used to stay and an Ole Miss forking out whatever is necessary dough to get the talent. The people aren't together long enough even with the more stable teams, to win all the games they used to 4 years ago
I saw video of what looked like Shedeur Sanders pushing a ref. Will there be any repercussions or will it be another case of looking the other way when there is a star player involved?
we are now seeing the teams that play the gauntlet schedules are finally coming through late in the season and the teams that have skated through with easy schedules are getting punished for the one big time game on their schedule.
Not really. Indiana is going to be in, having beaten nobody and the only great team they played, smoked them. CFP is honestly a F'n joke. They claim to be taking into account SOS, Quality wins/losses and bad losses. Apparently not. If all we are going to do is put 1 and two loss teams in the playoff then we dont need a committee. Miami a.k.a. "The U" has never been a part of the SEC, but the Big East and currently the ACC, nevertheless for some strange reason they happen to own Florida University who's a part of the SEC, and has been for decades now. Tennessee just recently started getting better; and Mississippi State, Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky have been at the bottom of the SEC and have frequently taken L's from non-SEC teams over the years, but SEC fans will still think that the SEC is the best conference in college football in part because of Nick Saban's legacy at Alabama. However, that wouldn't have been the case had Urban Meyer not been at a bar letting a young girl play on his lap, we'd probably be talking about Ohio State's legacy of dominance.
Oh those Meyer vs Saban matchups were great. Meyer and for a time Dabo, were the only ones that could go toe-to-toe w/ Saban. Sorry Kirby...your win vs Bama in 2021 was only because their two top WRs got hurt. Otherwise Bama had your number.
Florida was beating Georgia going into the 4th quarter. Their 2nd string freshman quarterback got hurt and was replaced by the 3rd string QB, a transfer from Yale. Since then they beat LSU and Ole Miss. And while Lagway will get much deserved credit for the turn around, it’s the O line and D that got it done. Florida is a very good team that keeps getting better. They’ll be a top 15 preseason team next year. As far as the SEC being overrated, not true. Mediocre SEC teams would be top tier in any other conference. Count the # of NFL players drafted from the conferences year in year out.
@@briang-dr2xz "Mediocre SEC teams would be top tier in any other conference"... lies. Ark, Miss St, Vandy, UF would be mid-tier teams in the rest of the conferences too. SEC is regressing, transfer portal, and great coaching have taken the mantle from the SEC.

What they should have been saying is that Texas has played almost nobody, with the exception of the teams that beat them. The SEC is not even remotely what it was. And that every team but Georgia has been overrated all year by people who are in the SEC cult.
@@snerdtergusonTexas played Michigan when they were ranked 9th in the nation. Texas played and only lost by two scores to #5 Georgia. Texas plays a ranked atm next week. As an ND fan, I’m super worried about USC. They’re talented, playing at home and it’s a rivalry game. They can certainly put it together for one game and beat us. That being said, the defense has been crushing.
I am as certain as I have ever been about anything that if ND loses to USC, the committee will put a 3-loss SEC team in ahead of us. And, honestly, NIU is the worst loss that any team vying for the playoff has. By a mile. So the committee would have a leg to stand on.
absolutely pissed. Alabama let themselves down. This is the first true disappointment this year. They looked uncompetitive. It wasn't the defense that lost it's captain. The offense scored negative 14 points and had no real reason for it except they weren't ready to play and weren't ready to adjust. A true failure. This one is the worst one since la-monroe. Truly embarrassing.
Of course Ohio State could be better offensively...They did loose their starting left tackle a few weeks ago and then just last week, they lost their center...both starters are lost for the season.
The call in that game with bama didnt really have nothing to do with the outcome. The way ou d came to play and was shutting mildoodoo down didnt have no bearing on the outcome!

sec fans are afraid their beach boys will be forced to play in real football weather…the NORTH in the cold in late December and hopefully at night too. sec is in for a rude awakening
I lost all interest & respect for non-playoff bowl games when the best players started sitting them out. If those games don't mean anything to the best players, why watch? It's that simple.
I have predictions to make. I'll explain at the end. If Oregon loses the B1G championship game, Oregon falls to at least the 9th seed in the playoff. If Ohio State loses the B1G championship game, they fall no farther than 8th. No matter what Penn State does, they will be at least the 8th seed. If the committee can find a way to put Alabama back in, Alabama wil be at least 8th. If Tennessee is back in, they end up no worse than 8th. The only way Georgia is not at least 8th is if Ohio State loses the the B1G championship and Tennessee or Alabama dont get back in. No matter what happens Boise will not host a playoff game. Now, I'll explain. The College Football Playoff gets 100% of the ticket sales from playoff games in the first round. Those games are going to the four biggest stadiums that they can be held in. It's not all about football. Or, who is the best. It's about money!
I notice that the folks who keep chirping "the SEC is the best" are never the fans of the SEC schools that have been dominant. They know their history speaks for itself. It's the Tennessee fan, Ole Miss fan and Auburn fan who rides the jock if what Bama, LSU and Georgia has done historically. I had a back and forth with a Tennessee guy bragging about being 9-2. I'm an OSU fan, and I know that 9-2 will have our coach on the hot seat. Ask Bama and Georgia fans how they feel about losing 2-3 games. Unacceptable because they have been great. Tennessee guy chirping at OSU fans like UT can compare in any way is laughable
The problem with the SEC is “hurt” is much more common. They beat each other up and the majority can win against each other other any given day. Might think twice about that challenge. Some gifted QB do.
"SEC fans" root for a collection of corporate administrative office buildings. Literally. They are rooting for a bunch of corporate offices in a business park somewhere. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen.
They think the sec will bring them money to the playoff but most people want to see parity so, give us 2 acc and big 12 teams !! No 5 sec teams. I wouldn’t be shocked if they make it far this is the college football I need lol.
@ brandonbleeker4847 Lmao. What $. Those alumni bases are poor compared to so many other schools. Texas market I get. Florida yeah. Georgia somewhat. But they actually aren’t the top markets either.
1:33 I would agree if not for 2 glaring reasons: how Ohio State had played offensively all season, and Indiana having a SUB-100 strength of schedule Indiana simply proved why having one of the WEAKEST schedules in all of the 'Power 4' is detrimental to your team when finally do play a legit 'Power 4' team. Notre Dame is no different from how Indiana is now, year in and year out 🙄😮💨

This year you have more voices screaming because you have more teams on the bubble. I’ve never seen a situation where wins alone mean so little. You can be 10-0 or 9-1 and not have a top 10 win. The “winning record in a vacuum” probably no longer exists. The real question is who have you beaten? Debate means nothing when things are settled on the field. The age old questions remain, and will be answered: are mid level teams in the power conferences better than second or third finishers in lesser conferences?
Let's just pump the brakes. They beat army who was undefeated and they beat them badly. Ill give that. But let's just look at who army is. This is who they have beat. Lehigh, rice, Tulsa, fau, temple, uab, east carolina, air force, and north texas. If any major conference scheduled these schools they would be ridiculed for playing cupcakes. Thank you for bringing up Tennessee ! ? I have noticed all the channels talking about games just go with, if this and if this and if this. Anyone can do this. Most will not just say this is this and this is this. The p o w e r s that be are changing too much too fast about college football and I could go into that but I will not. I have been watching football since before most of you were even born. Football is a physical sport and if they take all this away goodbye the football we loved so much. More players get hurt today than they did when I played, go figure. More safety and more players hurt per game????? This is just my opinions and don't claim to be an expert like a lot of channels but I do have eyes and ears.
I get it you're a Bama alum but OU made Bama play bad...they took away the run game and got pressure and forced the turnovers...it wasn't Bama beating themselves lol
Greg. You’re in all the delusions too you SEC Homer. Alabama has no path. ND can lose a game. Ohio State can lose a game. You have 5 auto bids they can’t be in. Tennessee can likely lose to Vandy and Alabama won’t go ahead of them. IU can’t lose but they are playing Purdue and even as a rivalry Purdue is maybe the worst team in college football. Miami can lose a game And 1 more spot is going away becauseeeeee. SC vs Clemson. Whoever wins that game is getting the 11th seed. It’s over. If there is a mathematical possibility it’s like 1%.
Georgia had the team that year. TCU managed to beat Michigan. Same team that went and won it the next year after that. Yes it was very unlikely they could do anything. But a shot is a shot. And this year. That’s all you need. Look around 😂 Alabama just got crushed by a horrible OU team. The worst team they’ve had in 30 years. It’s all open. For 1 game. I don’t think Big 12, ACC, IU, ND can win 3-4 games needed to take the championship.
you want chaos.........BOISE ST of course locks up their ticket with a close win against wyoming. BUT now the other ticket is now most likely going to UNLV for an exciting rematch of their earlier game. Giving where Boise St is in the CFP rankings and I know you don't want to hear this....IF #24 UNLV were to beat BOISE ST would there be a chance for both BOISE ST and UNLV make the CFP. given the fact KANSAS beat colorado and byu and UNLV beat KANSAS who is playing pretty good football atm.
There’s no chance for Boise and UNLV to both make the playoff. Those teams have to win their championship. And they also have to win their last games as well because Tulane is coming on. They can’t slip up before conference championship. Big 12 is in the danger zone of getting double skipped. If their teams keep losing. They already lost the 4 seed to Boise at this point. Could lose their autobid to Tulane.
Arizona State has been a surprise to many along with Kansas. Kansas is a tough team. Just ask UNLV who by the way beat them IN Kansas. But let's not give UNLV any credit as usual. Let's give it all to Tulane or Clemson. boo hoo. If not for a couple of bad calls at the end of 2 games(Syracuse and Boise State) UNLV would be undefeated. Sucks when the opposing teams fans turn around to us and say: YOU GUYS GOT SCREWED! LOL! It will be Boise State and UNLV for the MW conference championship. UNLV will win and they both will be left out of the CFP in favor of...let me guess...Illinois? LMAO! 😆
Penn St literally lost to Ohio St at home where they didn’t score after the first qtr there’s no diff between Penn St and Indiana besides Indiana being Indiana 🤣🤣🤣
Well, and Penn St lost by 7 to OSU while Indiana lost by 23. So there's a 16 point difference as well. And they also managed to beat a ranked opponent, albeit number 22 Illinois, while Indiana only played one ranked team and got wrecked. But Penn St IS overrated. So is Indiana. Neither has a very impressive resume outside or win/loss.

Takes a new style of coach and even then you see the wild inconsistency all over college football. It’s kinda awesome to me. I thought there was too many boring seasons and boring games in the playoffs.

Milroe can pass man. Alabama's defense can't stop the run. Alabama's offensive line can't pass block and Sheridan goes away from the run.

Is it possible now for Tulane and Boise to make it
The SEC is going to have to play real man football in cold weather outside of their usual warm, cozy home field bowl nurseries this year.
If “people” don’t care about bowl games, then “people” don’t like college football.

As I said, nd is a good team. But lets not crown them because they beat army. We all knew who army was. The same team they have always been
@@mattschrimpf236ND can absolutely win the natty. Their defense is legit insane.
@TechPanther7 they could. They could also lose a game against a team they are better than.
@TechPanther7 lets be real. Outside of Louisville they haven't played anyone bunch of offensive juggernaut. Am i wrong?
i love ya greg, but how can you say that indiana had one of the best offences in the country when they played nobody. look what happenene when they ran into a real defence. they should not even be ranked
You said Bama was also a title contender Greg! 🙄🤣😂😂😂 Guess who is going to the SEC Title Buddy. Lmfao. Go Dawgs!!!! I swear Greg is so biased amd week to week. . Lol
Dawgs!!!
I get it you're a Bama alum but OU made Bama play bad...they took away the run game and got pressure and forced the turnovers...it wasn't Bama beating themselves lol
Greg looks like hes been crying. Im sure he'll have bama in his top 5
Miami can lose a game
And 1 more spot is going away becauseeeeee. SC vs Clemson. Whoever wins that game is getting the 11th seed.
It’s over. If there is a mathematical possibility it’s like 1%.
let indiana in and watch tcu 2.0
Poor Greg
LMAO! 😆
Tennessee and Georgia been the best SEC teams all year... they should be the only ones to make the CFP
Lol. How you doing this am Greg?
Would the illegal touching TD have changed the outcome? No probably not. But it was a terrible call! Ryan Williams is THAT guy! Boomer Sooner!!
Whatever ! Milroe played poorly ? Ou is the reason for that !
Gonna laugh if OSU loses to Michigan somehow
They won’t were elite and at the top of the food chain. Why do you in think we get so much hate , goober
They’d still get into the playoff.
SEC opened the door for that.
