Jealous? Who's jealous? I'm not jealous. I'm a grown man, why would I be jealous of a gaming room that looks like a movie-accurate ship right out of 2001: A Space Odyssey (or Star Citizen). Ok, I'm jealous. That is unbelievably cool!
Finally, someone did a special gaming setup the right way. I really like it, kinda funny that he cooks in there too tho but I get that he needs to do that for his content wich is very popular in Asian regions
THIS, this is every man's dream. $30000 seems reasonable to me and I'm glad I saved over 40 decades, I think I will undertake such a project. May have to put a fridge in there since I would be spending an awful lot of time. The ultimate gamer experience.
I've seen a few of these before. This one... Is done right. Just enough without being crazy over the top although that wheel could use an upgrade. Very nicely done!
minimalist, futuristic. Perfect. I'm not sure I'd go with white myself, but this layout and simplicity is exactly what I imagine. I think i'd have one in a little more of a lived in looking spaceship. But still, this is awesome.
Imagine encountering this as you're looking for resources and looting houses during the zombie apocalypse, you run into this room and you're just like "dude, wtf....." and then you suddenly miss the interwebs.
Dude!!! You inspired me!!! Im doing about the same in my cellar. Its my new project. Space ship corridor/Cockpit gaming room like yours. I found a cheaper way without the hassle of much woodworking at which im not good at. I should really make a video about it. Congrats and thanks from germany!!

The highest price game package available for Star Citizen is only 1,309USD, which includes a large 126x30m exploration ship with a lot of cargo space, space for several ground vehicles and a small hangar for smaller ships; a small transport ship that is the child ship of the large one and is made to fit into its hangar; a two seater racing buggy; a 20x6m small scanning ship; a hover bike; a 38x24m medium sized long range cargo freighter; and finally the Squadron 42 Singleplayer Campaign. Anything that costs more is not a game package. The lowest price game package is only 54USD. The "top tier" one thats ~40k is only available to those who have put a lot of money into the game already and is a collectors package which contains all ships and vehicles that are currently in the game and are currently in concept phase. These costly packs were requested by the community.
My God. If I had a room like this, I would NEVER leave my house. I'd explore the entire universe from the comfort of my pilot's chair and depend on Grub Hub and unemployment benefits to keep me alive.
Seems pretty reasonable considering all that was done there. Cars cost almost twice that nowadays and this would be hella fun. I would never leave the house quite honestly.
If I was going to spend $30,000 on a game room. I would have made a curved projection surface , reverse projected onto it. Then built the cockpit system onto a hydraulic system. Controlled that via PLC connected to the PC. I'm guessing he didn't build it all himself though and paid someone to build the room and cabinets. It also suits his needs not mine. Still pretty cool.
The room needs a voice assistant throughout, like a HAL 9000. So you can just say "Computer... play Star Citizen" or "Computer... Power On!" and the room lights up and screens turn on, etc..
Dope, that's amazing he's very fortunate to be able to play his fav game and passion for cooking in a custom Sci-Fi space cockpit stroke kitchen Wow. great job
I just used a Nintendo, an old spaceship NES game long forgotten, a 15 inch Commodore monitor and my closet. That worked, my imagination did the rest when I was 7 years old.
the only thing he's missing is a seat that replicates his flying position. e.x., pitch and yaw adjusters and shaking for when his ship takes damage. i def plan to do all that one day tho
I've been wanting to do this in my loft for a long time but don't often have to time or money. Still something I will do one day. My idea was more firefly and less trek like this. Cheaper to pull off :-) This room is epic though and I bet he was over the moon with the result.
@@lwhittenIII It's not remotely safe, especially for fire safety. Which is why they don't exist in real life either. FYI, if you ever need to get an inspector to check out your house for any reason, you'll get fined and be required to take it down.

That's fantastic!! I love the interior of the Starship Enterprise, from the last 3 movies. So beautiful. This is like that. White with a bit of glowing blue. Excellent man. 🙂🙂 (Not going for the Raman noodles or the baby Octopuses though! :-)
Yeah it's definitely cool for what it is. It's done quite well, the lighting is on point that dash/control panel is really cool. I'm not sure I have any practical inspiration to do something like this. I'd probably make some built in displays showing off my many years in the hobby. I'd need a large space though.
If your city has a movie industry find out the companies that do set design. Pay them to create the plans and then find the fabrication group and hire them. At least that's my plan when I get the cash.

Honestly the cooking adds to the viewing experience! It really looks like he is a star citizen doing stuff in his cool spaceship.

This is the best gaming idea that I've ever seen! Nice one for letting me know. If I have any mod ideas for it I'll write them on this wall. :)
if you seen the interiors of the ships on star citizen they have a little kitchen area so this is understandable in the design
yes, the side computer could be some operating panel too, maybe in future he can swap it with better integrated touch screen
A spaceship gaming setup complete with a galley - nice!
think most of us here have had a dream of doing this and this guy just doing it lol absolutely love it
