He said at the end of the video we don’t worship the stone, we believe the stone was constructed by Abraham. We kiss the stone out of respect as it is what the Prophet Muhammad did during his Hajj, as Muslims we follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and when we pray we don’t pray to the stone, we pray towards the stone as that is the centre of where the Masjid Al Haram is or where Mecca is located. I hope this clears any confusion.
"‘Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 26:1
This isn’t describing the verse. No one is worshipping the stone, it’s done as an act of respect. We pray to the Kaaba as a direction of Unity in prayer but in all our prayers we speak and pray to God alone. Even Jesus (May peace be upon him) worshipped God with his head on the ground in prostration, as noted in the Bible. Worship God alone, he has no partners and does not need you to pray to any intermediaries to get to him directly. No other being is worthy of worship besides God alone.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say between the Yemeni corner and the black stone: “O our Lord, grant us the best in this life and the best in the next life, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
No there is not even a black stone in Islam and the Quran does not mention it at all. These black stones that you see come from the statue that the ancient quraishi had erected for their Goddess who is called Alaat. In Mecca people prayed for statues of Baal, 3azzat and Alaat. The last was for them the goddess of fertility and provision. This is why you see that these black stones are put into a shape resembling a woman's vulva. This is all shirk.
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq the true God of Abraham said “Do not take stones and venerate them.” The idol worshippers only did it because they said on the day of judgement it will intercede for you! So I don’t believe you don’t believe it will not benefit you. The word gesture is to express! So what are you expressing and to who? Also isn’t Hajj part of your Ibadah (act of worship) because your prophet condemned the idol worshippers but you don’t see anything wrong with it.
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq you may say you don’t worship it but you do the same as the pagans did. Your actions speak louder than your words. And the according to your books the stone turned black with the sins of people who touched it so why wouldn’t you touch it if you gained forgiveness for your sins?
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said about the (Black) Stone: "By Allah! Allah will raise it on the Day of Resurrection with two eyes by which it sees and a tongue that it speaks with, testifying to whoever touched it in truth." 🤷🏿♂️
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq but you do as the pagans did after your prophet scolded them for performing the same act. If it was wrong for them why do you think venerating it today will be considered differently.
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq respect to who? Especially if you don’t gain anything from doing it? You can say you don’t worship it but it is an ACT of worship. Justify it however you want. Muslims will be the only people on earth that believe venerating an object like the kabaa is not an act of worship 🤷🏿♂️
Kissing a stone is not the same as praying to God. Drill this into your mind Edit: it has come to my knowledge that praying/kissing to a stone is an act shia Muslims do. Shia Muslims celebrate Islam differently to sunnis, which is absolutely fine. I think we should all be a community and respect each other and their religions. This is coming from a sunni. Sorry to those I have offended, I did not mean to in any way. Ty for readinggg
This is also done as respect to the prophet [saw] because he did it, there's no problem if you don't kiss it, its only recommended but absolutely not necessary
Reverance and respect by kissing a stone? That’s what Hindus and Buddhist do too. So Funny how muslims choose their own interpretations on behalf of what other religions do to claim “we have no idols” 😂. Globally praying towards Mecca is also a form of Idolisation. But no. When a Muslim does it. Is it act of respect or Prayer towards the Kaaba building?
They kiss it, dance around it in circles half-naked, kneel to it, and pray towards it five times a day. These are all actions copied from paganism, but they are monotheism. And 2 of 5 pillars of Islam depend on it
We don’t worship the box, it’s just a direction we face for prayer, by that logic you can say Jews worship the temple since they face it and pray towards it
Leviticus 26:1 1 ‘You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God. @ibrahim12831 With the only difference being that Jesus existed and is mentioned in the Quran anyway, it's one thing to pray to Jesus and another to pray to a rock.
@ibrahim12831 Ibrahim, please take the time to thoroughly study the religion you are currently following, because you seem like a righteous and good person, and I believe you can judge for yourself what is right and what is wrong.
Isn't the story that the stone is a meteorite sent by either Gabriel or Allah, and a sign to build the Kaaba? Could be wrong here but that's the exact opposite of taking a stone for yourself and worshipping it, it's following in the steps of Abraham if you'd check into Genesis a little.

Honoring is different than worship. I love my mother and i honor her and respect her but im not gonna walk around her for hours and then kiss her in an inappropriate place. Please think deeply. Kissing a rock is just not normal. Islam is filled with weird rituals. A relationship with God shouldnt be just obey weird rules. Even in the bible some people were like that the pharisees. God yahweh wants us to get to know him and when we do, we start to understand his laws. They are to protect us from giving the enemy legal rights. If we are sinning then the enemy has legal rights. But mohammed was a man and he has you following traditions made up by him, a man. Not God. He himself did not know God yet can lead you to him? No sir. Seek God with your heart ask questions. An all loving God will allow you room and grace to ask questions because he will want you to get close to him. Relationships are double sided. Jesus is that way. He says ask and receive knock and the door will be opened. He is understanding at our lack of faith and wants to increase it. Allah says if you doubt or even consider another you are gonna go to hell. That is not all loving. Thats deception my friend. Jesus loves you. This rock is not the right one. Yea like prayer is an act of worship however who are we praying for is what matters. If we are praying for someone else other than god then it’s paganism or shirk. The black stone is a holy relic given by Allah to humanity to show the wonders of paradise. It was originally a white stone but because of the amount of sins of this world, it became black overtime. As a baetyl of the pagan Arabs Most historians consider the Black Stone to be an Arabian baetyl from pre-Islamic times. The Encyclopedia Britannica defines 'baetyl' as "In Greek religion, a sacred stone or pillar. The word baetylus is of Semitic origin (-bethel). Numerous holy, or fetish, stones existed in antiquity, generally attached to the cult of some particular god and looked upon as his abiding place or symbol".[9] The Encyclopedia continues: The sanctuaries, sometimes carved in the rock on high places, consisted of a ḥaram, a sacred open-air enclosure, accessible only to unarmed and ritually clean people in ritual clothes. There the baetyl, a “raised stone,” or a statue of the god, was worshiped. The Nabataeans originally represented their gods as baetyls on a podium, but later they gave them a human appearance. For anyone interested, the black stone -according to the Islamic tradition- is a stone/jewel from heaven that used to be white as milk when it first came down, and it contains inside it the scroll of the covenant between God and mankind when he made Adam. It will testify for or against people at the day of judgment. Touching or kissing the stone is supposed to be an honoring of this ancient covenant. "And when thy Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs, their progeny, and made them bear witness as to themselves: “Am I not your Lord?” - they said: “Verily, we bear witness.” - “Lest you say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘Of this were we unaware,’" Quran 7:172 However, most Muslims do it as a tradition without realising why they are doing it, unfortunately.

Forgive me, provide me etc.' Kissing something does not mean you are worshipping it? Do you people worship your kids and pets? We Muslims don't bow to Kaaba but in the direction(qibla) of Kaaba. Kaaba isn't the first qibla. The first qibla was Masjid Al Aqsa(Bait ul Maqdis). Have you seen any idol worshipper standing on the idol? Hazrat Bilal RA ascended the kaaba to make a call to prayer. The crew of Khana kaba ascends the kaba to change the kiswa every year in the month of Dhul Hijjah. Check Bible (psalms 138:1-2): Jesus said that he would bow down towards the holy temple. Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When the Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.” (At-Tirmidhi, Sunan) 3. Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) further related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Judgment, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favor of those who touched it in sincerity.” (At-Tirmidhi, Sunan) 4. Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) quoted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as saying: “Touching them both (the Black Stone and Ar-Rukn Al-Yamani) is an expiation for one’s sins.” (At-Tirmidhi, Sunan, hadith no. 959. According to Ibn Ishaq, one of the earliest biographers of Muhammad, the Black Stone was important to the Arabian polytheists prior to Muhammad's prophethood. In a famous tale from the sira, Muhammad was requested by the Quraysh to help mediate on how the Black Stone was to be restored to the Ka'bah as it was being reconstructed. Ibn Ishaq said, "The tribes of Quraysh collected stones to rebuild the House, each tribe collecting on their own. They started rebuilding it, until the rebuilding of the Ka`bah reached the point where the Black Stone was to be placed in its designated site. A dispute erupted between the various tribes of Quraysh, each seeking the honor of placing the Black Stone for their own tribe. The dispute almost led to violence between the leaders of Quraysh in the area of the Sacred House. Banu `Abd Ad-Dar and Banu `Adi bin Ka`b bin Lu'ay, gave their mutual pledge to fight until death. However, five or four days later, Abu Umayyah bin Al-Mughirah bin `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Makhzum, the oldest man from Quraysh then intervened at the right moment. Abu Umayyah suggested that Quraysh should appoint the first man to enter the House from its entrance to be a mediator between them. They agreed. The Messenger - Muhammad - was the first person to enter the House. When the various leaders of Quraysh realized who the first one was, they all proclaimed, `This is Al-Amin (the Honest one). We all accept him; This is Muhammad.' When the Prophet reached the area where the leaders were gathering and they informed him about their dispute, he asked them to bring a garment and place it on the ground. He placed the Black Stone on it. He then requested that each of the leaders of Quraysh hold the garment from one side and all participate in lifting the Black Stone, moving it to its designated area. Next, the Prophet carried the Black Stone by himself and placed it in its designated position and built around it. The Quraysh used to call the Messenger of Allah `Al-Amin' even before the revelation came to him." He said at the end of the video we don’t worship the stone, we believe the stone was constructed by Abraham.
You shall worship no other idol except the kaba 😂😂😂
@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq the true God of Abraham said “Do not take stones and venerate them.”
The idol worshippers only did it because they said on the day of judgement it will intercede for you! So I don’t believe you don’t believe it will not benefit you.

@AyeshaSaddiqua-sr3hq Ibn Abbas narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said about the (Black) Stone: "By Allah!
Drill this into your mind
Edit: it has come to my knowledge that praying/kissing to a stone is an act shia Muslims do. Shia Muslims celebrate Islam differently to sunnis, which is absolutely fine. He is understanding at our lack of faith and wants to increase it. black stone . It is only evidence of following the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. We worship the Creator. And not the stone. Kissing something is not worshiping it. Christians kiss the cross. Jews kiss a wall.
This hadith indicates the reason for kissing the Black Stone.
(((Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said "No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) kissing you I would not have kissed you.")))
Sahih Al bukhari 1597
Following the Messenger is very important. It is a religious duty. And God commanded. Because he is the Messenger and he is the one who receives God's commands. Following him is part of faith and unity.
What is the wisdom behind kissing the stone .
I explained this to you.
It is evidence of following the Prophet of God. Following the Prophet is a command from God. When we kiss him. We follow Allah command. Which is following the Prophet . The main thing is what I explained to you. I hope you understood. Following the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is the main thing.

It wasn't until thousands of years later, when Arabian pagans were already worshipping their idols at several kaaba's scattered around Arabia, that Mohammed compressed his tribes religion into only worshipping "Allah" who, to his former tribe was known as "Hubal" one of their many God's, and Mohammed knew this.

As a baetyl of the pagan Arabs
Most historians consider the Black Stone to be an Arabian baetyl from pre-Islamic times. The Encyclopedia Britannica defines 'baetyl' as "In Greek religion, a sacred stone or pillar. The word baetylus is of Semitic origin (-bethel). Numerous holy, or fetish, stones existed in antiquity, generally attached to the cult of some particular god and looked upon as his abiding place or symbol".[9] The Encyclopedia continues:
The sanctuaries, sometimes carved in the rock on high places, consisted of a ḥaram, a sacred open-air enclosure, accessible only to unarmed and ritually clean people in ritual clothes. There the baetyl, a “raised stone,” or a statue of the god, was worshiped. The Nabataeans originally represented their gods as baetyls on a podium, but later they gave them a human appearance.

Pagans Leviticus 26:1 kissing stones
For anyone interested, the black stone -according to the Islamic tradition- is a stone/jewel from heaven that used to be white as milk when it first came down, and it contains inside it the scroll of the covenant between God and mankind when he made Adam. It will testify for or against people at the day of judgment. Touching or kissing the stone is supposed to be an honoring of this ancient covenant.
"And when thy Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs, their progeny, and made them bear witness as to themselves: “Am I not your Lord?” - they said: “Verily, we bear witness.” - “Lest you say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘Of this were we unaware,’" Quran 7:172
However, most Muslims do it as a tradition without realising why they are doing it, unfortunately.
The black stone is just a old vagina sculpture where the pre-Islamic pagan tribal women danced around naked and smear their period blood on it, to worship the fertility goddess and hopes to get pregnant.

And you're not required to kiss it or touch it,you can just raise your hand towards it each time your walk around "'Twaf" Kaaba. There are many many good deeds in Islam that clear your sins, not just touching the stone.
Blackstone has no divine significance ,just a historical importance.
Who said we think that 😂😂😂????? Info baby girl
Glad U explained !
Worship the Creator not the creation pure idolatry false prophets 😮😢
I am Muslim so they basically kiss it because that is where Muhammad sallahlahwaluewasalam was born and that is where allah forgives people for there sin
And that is why they kiss it
Thank you 🙏 😊
"I prefer not to speak, if i speak i will be in danger"
Why do people have so much against this? Like do they not have ANY respect at all? Its so rude. I don’t think your “Jesus” appreciates hating on others.
it's like me worshipping Hubal but saying it's not idol worship.
That’s disgusting no offense
Ummm, Orthodox Christians kiss pictures of Jesus and Mary
@peterjanjanin9883 Lol, what sort of comparison is that?
How do you compare a picture (which most christians don't even do anyway) or a literal ancient stone that is kissed by hundreds of millions annually and has been kissed by tens of billions throughout history?
@@peterjanjanin9883most likely it's their own picture, a million other lips are not touching it, this is disgusting.
I took a shit there about 1200 years ago.still smells good today..
the Kaaba is the house of Allah
😂
Is panism
Dear Muslim! There is NO historical trace of Mecca until about 100 years AFTER Muhammed is said to live. Check any map, any traderoute, any reference by any enemy or friend from other countries. The name Mecca is never mentioned, but other places close by is mentioned often. Why?
Jesus is the one true God and king ❤ Jesus is Lord.
He was Actually Isa alehislam, he was not God. God is only Allah there is no God except Allah. Jesus ( hjrt Isa Alehislam was a prophet and massanger of Allah , read true information about Islam and your religion bro
@itsaashu0 Allah is Baal and Muhammad is a false prophet
The Quraysh used to call the Messenger of Allah `Al-Amin' even before the revelation came to him."
