I worked in Manhattan with construction crews in the '80's. My brother was a glazer in NYC, and my husband worked in Manhattan in the '70's and '80's. Trump was a joke, and a menace known for stiffing contractors and treating people like shit back in the day. The ignorant, nauseating way people worship wealthy people in this country is like a sickness. Oh, he got his name on a building in NYC. He must be a freekin' genius, and so hard working. I have lived in Jersey for about 33 years and have found that everyone is about 2 to three degrees of separation from someone who has been stiffed by Trump in the manner you describe.

As a Brit who watches these proceedings with interest I really wonder where we are in the world. Two very elderly men who clearly are not up to the job but are both sponsored by their parties to lead what used to be considered the greatest country in the world and as such has a leader who can wield such unimaginable power. And before anyone starts screaming that I'm disrespecting the U.S. I'm not.
We also have an election coming up where the main parties are two polarised parties. Both of the leaders of these parties have little political backgrounds but consider politics to be scoring points off each other.....why is it so difficult to just do what's best for the country as a whole as opposed to appeasing certain sections of the population who have specific political leanings or business interests? 95% of the population couldn't give a f**k - they just want, in a modern first world economy just to be able to live from day to day.

Nine years later - when he was 84 - Bob came back and we did another session. He didn't remember my name right off the bat, but he recognized me. After a bit it was right back to "hey Jackie Boy." And at 84, Bob was a walking encyclopedia of baseball knowledge and told me some great stories about being on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and the table reads on his sitcom in the 80s. Trump doesn't even remember the name of his doctor from 4 years ago.
We’re getting to a point where Trump will once again say “I don’t know what I said! Ahhh! I don’t remember!” But this time be it won’t be to make fun of someone.
I was alarmed recently to see Biden's reduced mobility while watching him walk; then I remembered he's 81 years-old and it shouldn't be surprising at all. OTOH, nothing about Trump's speeches and comments alarms me because he's ALWAYS been an idiot, and his descent into mental incapacitation is a very short trip. People just need to look and listen.

Both have some mental deterioration from their age, to be expected, but both have different types of mental deterioration. Biden’s come from a different part of his brain than Trumps. Trump also lives with the idea that no one is as perfect as he is, and the anger he seems to have towards everyone. In Senior homes, you will often find men/women who always seemed to get away with not taking responsibility for any of their decisions in life, in general, and got their way - narcissists. Those type of people are the hardest to have to deal with in senior homes. They often think they are still running the show.
Biden has peripheral neuropathy in both his feet. It is quite painful and can cause weakness, too.

I suffer from Relapsing Polychondritis - your body attacks your cartilage, and it dissolves it. It attacks many times, at many different areas in your body where you have cartilage, causing permanent loss of each area attacked. Feet, Ears, breastbone, nasal passages, ribs, etc. However, I think most of us folks who can read and write have an interest in which candidate will win in the Election. I don’t think it is too early to state that America will be much better off with Biden for President. I would feel safe knowing that should he die in office, God forbid, the Democratic Party would continue with his plans, in general. Trump should not even be running. I am not playing armchair psychiatrist here, but my best friends mother has moderate dementia. It was a 4 hour series of tests, conversations and exams that were used to diagnose her, not 1 30 question exam, and it needs to be administered by someone that knows how to interpret it, not Dr. Feelgood. Anyway, this woman, at 85, with dementia, speaks more coherently and more to the point than Trump, whether he claims the teleprompters are working or not. Trump goes off on so many tangents it is amazing he ever finds his point again. Her memory is awful, especially short term, but her conversations are more direct and stay within context. 4 hours... lets see them both do that and see what the results are. We can have 2 non-partisan doctors (the same pair) administer to both. Saying Biden is too old is BS because Trump is older now than Biden was when sworn in.
That ten minute exam was only about 8 questions a 7 year old would know.

I’m really saddened that at this time in history, that we have two aged men running for President that obviously have some cognitive difficulties and should not be qualified to run for the office. The country needs a strong leader that will help to reunite the people for a common ground. I think we as a country have lost our way and don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Of all the people in this country, this is the best we can do? Unfortunately, politics is not about the best qualified candidate.
