Congratulations on a terrific instructional video. I'm an intermediate player that relies heavily on understanding intervals. The idea of structuring a solo around the Albert King box was very inspiring. You deserve more subscribers, I'm your latest.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a kind comment John, it made my day! 😁 It's wonderful to have you here, and keep on going with those intervals - they are challenging to get to grips with in the beginning, but they will transform your playing and give you a lot more confidence as you progress. Best of luck with it my man! 🙌

Thank you so much for the kind words Terry, I really appreciate it 😁 I have a video coming out on the BB Box soon - so keep an eye out for that 👌 As for Freddie, the poor guy often gets left out of these discussions - but what a killer player he was, and a wonderful singer too!

Fantastic video! I love the way you incorporate how this fits into the broader picture and musical spectrum. Also wondering if that LP is a Standard '50s Bourbon Burst? I have one myself and it looks very familiar.

Thanks so much Russell, I really appreciate it and I'm so happy to hear you found the video helpful 😁 The LP is a Standard 100th Anniversary Edition. I think it's actually a little lighter in colour than a Bourbon Burst, but it has a beautiful flame top on it; killer guitar! 🙌

Thank you so much! 😁 It's a Gibson Standard '100th Anniversary' model from 2015. I'm a big fan of Les Pauls with a bit more of a flamed top and without scratch plates, and so for me this one is perfect! 😎
