Hello from Austria! For now only for installation in my shop and my instruments. A proper installation is an important part of my handcrafted product. Greetings!
It is the magnetic pickup for bowed instruments made and invented by me, violin maker Cölestin Kober in Austria/Mondsee. I make it for my instruments, solid, semiacoustic and acoustic violins.
@@CJKViolin Thank you..... I looked at some pictures online. Mondsee is a very beautiful place. I should take a trip there to see your instruments. (and enjoy the mountains)
Thanks for the video! Good looks from good design. You have got guts to hand drill those pegs! Did you make them? Using the box plane on the neck at this stage, looked funny. Inspirational!
I'm so glad that there is a internet that allows me to see these master craftsmanship freely. Amazing work sir.
Thank you!
You work very smart, I like.
Thank you...i should make more videos...would have a lot to show. I have to less momentum for recording, at the moment.
Hand planes have flat sides so you can lie them down without disturbing the blade.
Yes. There are no square faces. I would need a jig with the specific angle.
Beautiful 😲😲😲. Would love to have one. Do you still make these??
Hey man! Do you still make violin pickups? Cheers from brazil!

Did you make this out of single wood piece? Pls reply with what type you have used here
No, more like a plane with less weight and maple wood.
Where u put the pickup?
Between the strings, with a new orientation, especially for bowed instruments.
@@CJKViolin can i get your email?
