The floor is an absolute must. It's very inexpensive to make too. There's a few advantages.. Temperature, when you're fishing in direct summer sunlight the floor will heat up and become soft. If you stand up you can actually feel the plastic flexing more in higher temps. You can also take your shoes off and not cook your feet from below. Rigidity/stability, like I was just saying, it helps with flexing in the plastic floor so standing up is much more comfortable. Plus the extra weight makes the pelican ride smoother. Mount stuff to it, I have two anchor cleats attached to both pieces of flooring. One in front and one in back. The strongest wind gusts won't pull the floor out of the boat if you're anchored up. You can also run electrical wires underneath it between the channels in the plastic floor. If you cut the wood into 2 separate pieces like I did it makes traveling a little easier if you're breaking it down every time. I never took it out unless I was cleaning the boat. I've done 85mph with the pelican in the back of the truck and they never blew out or even lifted so that's nothing to worry about. The only con would be the extra step during setup if you take them out and the extra weight. I think the pros make it 100% worth it though.
ZNoble Super multi tasker!!! I am happy that I can input drone footages into PD mobile..I will try that some hours later. You are a solution provider as always!
Everett * optima red top, it'll last pretty much all day if I use the wind to my advantage. That trolling motor also plays a big role in longer battery life..
Nice music, very nice shots! I enjoyed watching this video! I just bought a Pelican boat too, do you recommend having that board on the floor and why?

Very interesting!!! Who is shooting you fishing?
Goldpen09 Myself, I had the controller in the boat.
ZNoble LOL You pretended not shooting but only fishing. Very good Job!!!
Goldpen09 Thank you! It was tricky but I was able to catch one while flying the Phantom.

Goldpen09 Let me know if it works for you. I'll post a video later if it works for me.
What battery is that? How many hours does it last running the trolling motor?

What trolling motor do you have on your pelican?
