I get those comments sometimes as well man. I agree with you completely in all of what you said!! Although I haven't been disabled since birth, I feel I do have an idea of what you are going through. Keep on trucking though buddy!
MyDisabledExperience my favorite was in Spain, the guy running a souvenir shop. he acted all shocked and asked me if I had been in a car accident or something... I explained that no, I had always been that way and I was okay. Generally people in Spain are even more forward about asking stuff like that than here in the US (in my experience).
