Ive been thinking of getting a pcx and i was wandering whether there would be any problems or a loss in power after riding at, or close to, top speed for most journeys. Have you found any issues with yours?
I’ve taken the PCX for an hour journey where I hit top speed for about 45min and it felt like it lost a bit of power (power fade). All I had to do is let it cool down and it went back to normal. I don’t advise to get a PCX if all you are doing is motorway miles, I would suggest it’s bigger brother - Forza 350.
@@midispud 30min is perfectly fine. The PCX is more than capable and a well built machine. You can definitely do loads of miles on long trips it’s just up to you if you’re up for the challenge!

It depends how long your journeys are. How long would you say your average journey lasts?
@@TEKKYTWO it would be for a sort of daily commute around 30 minutes on a dual carriageway. But I’m hoping to take it further?

@@TEKKYTWO ah yeah that’s great thank you bro 👍
Do I buy a used one or wait till end of the month and get a new one?
I personally would get a brand new one. People sell a used PCX with sub 5k miles for a few hundred less than RRP.
God damn, how many bikes u own you rich
I wish I was bro. I have 2 bikes at the moment, this one and the EXC 250.
