As a Hakws fan who loved Trae Young.. y’all did the right thing. All you gotta do is look at our last game against the Bulls in the Playin and it’ll tell you everything you need to know. It only didn’t work for us because we had two star PG’s. Murray is a 1 assist getting, high scoring, good defending guard . But most importantly he is a dawg, he gone be the one diving flying for loose balls , flying into the stands putting it ALL out on the line. He wanted it more then Trae and we def traded the wrong one but it is what it is.
He can score and defend. A pg with a 7' wingspan? Who can take that clutch shot. . . . For a journeyman pf and a defensive sg. And picks that are going to be back ups in the league. . . . . Murray is going to fit in
I personally feel Hawks should have kept him! Hawks jus needed another shooting guard with good defense! They have several big men down low rotating! Work with what ya got!?!?!?!
Murray is not a true point guard. He is a combo guard that plays better on the wing. NOLA still needs a true point guard. I would move Murray to 2 guard bring either Murphy or Jones into the 3 spot. Make a trade for a point guard. McCollum and BI can be traded with picks and point guard and other assets . Put Alvarez at the point in the interim.

Love Dyson but murry filled all the problems we had in the team mainly a facilitator (get the ball out cjs hands) and a true clutch scorer and he plays D better than Dyson, play makes better and shoots better. Love Dyson but pels are trying to win now not later
@@II_worm_II he's definitely not better than Dyson defensively. We basically need a tram full of strong defenders to build around trae. Trae will make the offense work.
