instead of having layers for each scale, isnt it easier to use for instance a single layer for dimensions, and adjust how that layer shows in the scale itself?
Brilliant, thank you. I'm in the mist of it, making orientation plan / evacuation plans and would like the fire walls to appear with their full (structre) and the rest of the walls shown in white. Any quick tips how to go about this? I only really need this to be the case when printing out the drawings.

Is not the idea of line thicknesses should be global? By scaling it with the scale change you making the lines thinner or thicker. Arent lines always be printed as standard thicknesses independently from scale? Cut wall should always be .3mm or so. If you cahnge it then different scale plans will look differently on same sheet.
