Jason! You completely ruined my freaking car, man! I said, to take it and have it washed.....not flooded! Geez!
No one cares about new chevys anyway. GM dosent make them like they used to. LoL
@@JesusisLOVEJohn- terrible name first off. And second, too bad they didnt use a dodge tbh
@@evilredBoris Let him have his name, geez.
@@dawn_darklight *geez us
You said to wash it, you didn’t say how! Lol
I appreciate this. Quick, to the point, no overhyping. You say what you're going to do and then do it.
"you ever wonder what it would be like to pump fifteen thousand gallons per minute into a family sedan?"
Well, yeah actually
I didn't wonder until I watched this video
Oh, good 😅😅
Right 😂
I was sure you were going to ask how many liters that is, lol.
1500 GPM not 15,000
Ran well when parked, VERY clean inside, $9500 I know what I got no tire kickers.
_Will you take Dogecoin?_
Best I can do is £2.99 and a shoutout on Twitter.
"You ever wonder what it would be like to pump 1500 gallons per minute into a family sedan?"
"No but continue..."
HMmmmm, there gonna need a bigger pump for that test. I'm thinking the car would just pop....
You have my attention...
Coucou je suis tristesse encore gagné félicitation pompe chaleur félicitations toutes fait
Sedan owner five minutes before : "Hey, I bet those fire hoses would be good at cleaning my car. How about it?"
Q is loving this. Look how happy he is in the background there.
I love how the car suspension sags as it fills up
"Because we can" Is the best outro I've ever seen
Actually, the easiest way to clean the dust out of the air vents.
10/10. Quick to the point, short, and informative. I’d like to see more of this kind of content!
I live not far from the place you shot at. I know there’s a number of railroad cars and things of the like there. It would be neat to see a demonstration on how fires are extinguished, say a crude oil leak from a tank car.
Isn't that the car Jason drives everywhere 🤔? Nah, must be a car meant for the crew to practice extrications 😁.
man Murphy and Q are really having alot of fun
Jason becomes a firetruck engineer.
*Short time later*
Alright I'm going to use my new responsibility to blast this sedan at full force.
Fenton in the background just hyped for destruction😂😂
"Honey it says no parking in front of the fire house" "i park where ewer i goddam please !"
10 min later : "you ever wonder what it would be like to pump fifteen thousand gallons per minute into a family sedan?"
Look on the bright side, Now you have a freshly clean and washed car, aswell as a new sunroof.
I wonder if this is covered under my extended warranty plan that they keep trying to reach me about lol
Perfect!
If one needed to get an idea of how heavy water is, one just needs to look at those suspensions being squashed. Also, Fenton in the background is priceless.
"you ever wonder what it would be like to pump fifteen thousand gallons per minute into a family sedan?"
no not really, but now i'm intriuged.
This.... THIS is what true manliness is.
Doing random stuff because we can while having an epic moustache. This is peak manhood.
Imagine bringing jaws to a vehicle for extrication and Jason waddles on over with a fire hose instead
🤣🤣
Hey guys, chrisfix here! And today I'm gonna show you a super quick way to super clean your car interior.
This put a whole new meaning to "wash me" written on the back window
And this children, is why we flush the lines after we've used foam.
It's like Mythbhsters but without a point. Awsome.
That camber and stance of the car at the end tho! Shooooooooeeeeeeeeeee!
This looks like something out of a movie lol! I didn’t know Fire Department Chronicles was here! Awesome!
“Used Sedan (Like New) no water damage. Just one busted window. $3000. No low balls, I know what I got!”
So, now that your driver/engineer, is this your new attack method for vehicle fires? Stretch a 5" into the cabin and dump the tank?
THIS IS WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN WHEN YOU PARK BY A FIREE HYDRANT. NO QUESTIONS ASKED
Next time someone parks in the OIC parking space I see the new training evolution here....
Can they do a video where we see it filled in real time? I am very curious how long it took
So I checked and the volume of the car passenger compartment is in the range of 750 - 800 gallons. So about half a minute.
The passenger compartment of the Chevy Malibu is roughly 100 cubic feet, which converts to about 750 gallons. So we're talking around 30 seconds to fill it up to the roof at 1500 GPM.
@@MrNorker77 So because of water loss it will not be that fast. That is why I wanted to see in real time.
How much water is leaking out and how much that increases in as the pressure/volume increases is not a calculation either of us can do.
@@JackCarregan The door seals may not be perfect, but they are good enough that they hold far more water than they leak out. Take a closer look and you'll see that there was negligible leakage until the water was high enough that the seals were practically trying to hold not just the water inside, but the pressure directly from the pump itself. And even then, it was more from above the windows where the door flexes than from the more rigid part below the sill/dash. And given how the air displaced by the water also increased in pressure, it likely wasn't even the water that caused the door flex; compressing 100 cubic feet of air into 20 cubic feet of space will raise pressure far more than just 3 feet of water will at ~10m/33' per atmosphere.
It's not so much whether the calculation can be done, but rather a matter of whether it's worth doing. Since we're talking the difference between 30 seconds and 32.472137245918 seconds, I think that dealing with the pressure calculations and taking into account the difference in pressure-holding capabilities between the top and bottom of the doors is just too much hassle.
@@alanjervis9022 uhhh, I just want to see the car fill in real time.
You can make any calculations you want, and you can make any assertions you want about water loss and lack of effect on fill rate. I want to see in real time, so we can all see how long it took. We dont have to guess or argue.
I wonder when this was filmed. He's in Rockford and the truck says Illinois, but even though it warmed up this past weekend most parking lots still have piles of snow that were made by the plows.
Well you do have to take into account that they have flamethrowers that they can use lol
@@blackmusik109 Was just about to comment that! :)
Considering the grass is green? Not during winter.
Could be some where in Illinois. Maybe not Rockford but somewhere warmer.
Well the fire tower tells me it's not the local Target parking lot.
Now that's detail cleaning a car!❤
Hold on. This is not the car wash tutorial..
Surprised you guys didn't try to see how far you'll drive it till it empties now I've got to watch that top gear challenge.
I've never really wondered, But now i know!
😂😂
Imagine trying to explain how this was learning exercise
Really liking these theory to practice videos
Jason and Fenton together again
Paging Jason. The Chief has requested you detail and wash his car.
If this guy showed up to my burning house I’d run back inside
0:22 I love how you got the moment the battery shorted out on camera.
....no idea what you're talking about. I'd assume they used a waterproofed camera for inside the car.
Thank you for this
Nice to see Storz connectors beeing used in the US. They are way better than threaded connectors
@ Gulliolm, Stortz Connectors are only used on LDH Supply Lines, like the 4, 5, and in some Big City Depts, 6 Inch Supply lines... Threaded Couplings are still being used for everything smaller than 4 Inch.
Finds random cool video on RUclips. Thinks firefighters have cool things to destroy shit with. Such a great way to take out aggression on a bad day!!
Craig's List: Internet-famous car for sale, some moisture damage, may need a window and a patch over a small inlet in the roof. Serious offers only, buyer arranges delivery.
That might be the only way I get the mud from the dogs off of the seats. Thanks for the suggestion :)
A Fire Engine can use for fighting fires only.
Nice to see you had your buddy Chaos in the background supervising. 😂
I’m convinced this will be the next channel to blow up on RUclips
This is what happens when block a fire hydrant more than three times with the same vehicle.
No, I have never wondered. But now I know
Remember those "drive sober or get pulled over" PSAs where the cars were full of beer? :P
You did good job cleaning the car ! Lol
Hahaha, thank you!
Welcome
And the pun at the end had me in a fit. Just perfect.
The whole time I'm thinking, "Why?" Then they answered it with the outro.
"Why were you late to the scene?"
FDC:
I've never wondered but thanks to the high speed footage in the first 7 seconds I now know
A novel way of flooding the engine!
"How to give the inside of your car a really deep clean! "
Best way to put out a car fire
this is why you never ask a fireman to wash your car
Thats one way to get the coffee stains out
Fun little video. Thanks!
Love the eye protection guys!
Always wondered how quick a car would fill up while I am doing pump tests with the draft commander. Now I know.
Well its clean now
Quality content right folks
He said stop by for a free car wash drying is on you
I have been WAITING SO LONG to see this! Just AWESOME!!!!
We all know what were going to Do at the next Vehikel fire 🤣🤣
"because we can"
yeah, boys :)
keep up the good work, guys.
That is 100 times better than what I'm driven everyday
my father was what I call a full time volunteer firefighter. We were on a barn burn training, an old farm house and barn land sold and buildings they used for real life training. A lot of fire departments there, anyway one crew chief and another get a bet going, one said his pumper could push over that wall, the other disagreed. Chief pushed the wall over, way over reved his pumper to do it.
That’s one way to compressed spring to make a Lowrider
Should have left that window, I'd almost bet something would pop at that flow rate lol.
wow... and it bottomed out the suspension!
We do what we must, because we can.
Because we can......justify it as training.
Gosh dang it the engine is flooded
Well theres your problem, your engine's flooded..
Great music
You killed it......
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you filled up a second story bathroom to the brim with water? It has been done by Norwegian national television.
I was a little shocked that anyone would do this to a nice new car... but then I saw it was just a chevy. 😆
Finally got that funky smell out of the AC... but the carpet, well...
The new front-wheel drive Chevrolet Impala....good for some things....I guess. And look...at least the headlights passed the test.
At the end I asked "but why" then your ending screen "because we can" and all I can say is, fair enough.
You guys have the coolest vehicle ex training 😮
This is what happens to your car if you illegally park in front of a fire station.
So underrated 😂
Does the car shocks go back up after the water left or they’ve broken
They did this on top gear and drove around the track
So for real now, how many takes to take the window. Lol 👍🏻👍🏻
They went to the state fire academy and said...hey I got an idea for a project...and someone signed off. And you wonder where the crazy comes from... :)
Omg it’s the guy who does the videos of “things I’ve seen as a paramedic”
I think you did this for some kind of training, experiment or learning if there was an accident and you were trying to help people.... right ? I enjoy watching your videos because you make it fun learning about what to do or not do in different circumstances. I just hope I never have to use it.
Well it ain't on fire any more and it ain't gonna reignite in a hurry!
"We've been trying to reach you about your...aw hell no."
