As an author this sparked so many emotions and ideas within me and made me think that these depictions weren’t just AI generated but composite images of the many people of each country.
I found that there are unproportionally many people with light eyes in African countries. I agree that it looks beautiful and unique - dark skin and blue or green eyes. But it happens very seldom. Maybe slightly more often in mediterranean Africa.
Everyone is beautiful, all the faces are symmetrical which doesn’t happen in nature. Our imperfections are what gives us character and depth, AI can create a face but it still looks too perfect. Still, this is quite beautiful.
The photographer is magnificent, the lighting is superb and the people are adorned in colorful fabric, the making of each individual uniquely beautiful.

Let’s say I did start interfering, I’d have to be damn consistent about it not to anger anyone, thinking I favored some countries. And that’d be pretty hard to do when I’m doing 197 countries.

I think I’m pretty good at geography, but I was today years old when I learned that there is a country called Eswatini. EDIT: Google says it used to be called Swaziland, which I have heard of.
What qualities do you give the AI program to generate the representational pictures of each country. Like eye shapes, noses etc? How do you know these characteristics?
I don't really give much, so it figures the small details itself, for better or worse as there have been several errors.. but I give Nationality, age, traditional attire of the country.. in general I don't mend with the hair/eye colors, shapes etc..

@@varoonnone7159 Culturally speaking, we don't wear that type of clothing. And, while most of us do look phenotypically African, many are also mixed and a minority look phenotypically European. Basically, I'd say Bahamian is more of a national identity or culture than one specific ethnicity. And I'd describe the culture as a hybrid of Caribbean and Southern US, with historical and colonial influences from Britain and West Africa. I think that's why the Ai was confused.

It gets it right for "old" countries that are still mainly populated by their native populations or by a definitive majority ethnic group When it comes to ethnically diverse countries like ours that also do not have an indigenous population or do not have it anymore, it gets completely confused That said, it completely messed up Madagascar too. The south east asian ancestry couldn't be seen at all
What did you do - pick the most beautiful people you could find in each country, dress them in rich, but supposedly native clothing, and airbrush the photos for a portrait-like effect? Nevertheless, everybody is stunning. ALL human beings are stunning, whether all "done up" or not.

You'd better do it this way: Kids(5-7 year olds) Youth(15-25 year olds) Middle aged (35-45 year olds) Elderly(65-80 year olds) Because here now there are some countries with 2 young aged groups and some with 2 children group

Yeah AI hasn’t need so good with the eye color. I tried different prompts without interfering but same result.

As someone who's lived in Bahamas for 99% of their life most of us don't dress close to that, mainly the elderly lady and man are kinda close.
You'd better do it this way:
