basically 125 bikes are family bikes. So normally these bikes are not used at speed more than 70-75. Talking other features, they are at par not available in other 125 segment bikes. Who want to purchase it, dont look for top speed, after all its not designed for racing.

Daily 70 kms commuting means comfort is mandatory you need to choose cruising bike honda unicorn is best in your case
You can't get comfort in sp 12, glamour or passion if you ride more than 30 kms if you have low budget go for platina h gear

Hi Aayush,
I would like to take Glamour BS6. reason for deciding Glamour based on your ride reviews of SP 125 BS6 & Glamour BS6 and other's comparison reviews as I rephrased below. Please let me know if my decision is wrong, so that could decide whether I can take SP 125CC BS6 or Glamour 125CC BS6
1. Glamour has better road grip than SP 125 as the rare tyre of Glamour is 100/80 now.
2. Ground Clarence is 180 MM which is better than SP 125
3. I felt auto sail technology of Glamour is better than features, Let light and full digital console, of SP 125
4. I felt I can replace the halogen bulb of glamour with Led bulb later
5. I felt changing the halogen bulb of glamour is cheaper than changing the rare tyre of SP 125 (get more road grip)
6. I did not find much difference between SP 125 and Glamour except digital console and front Led light. Halogen can be replaced with led l. Only need to compromise console meter if I go with Glamour
7. I felt over all I can save at leas 5 to 10 thousand rupees if I go with Glamour 125CC BS6
I'll just mention a few more advantages of SP as to why its better than glamour:
1)Honda engines are generally more refined than hero. I have checked other reviews of both the bikes and most of the reviewers have preferred SP over glamour in terms of smoothness. Vibrations are better contained in SP.
2) The 'Auto sail technology' mentioned here is present in all fuel injected bikes. Its just a gimmicky term used by TVS and Hero.
3)Sp 125 has softer suspension compared to glamour. Therefore better ride quality over bad roads.
4)The only disadvantage i found with SP was the thin rear tyre. But again it comes with its advantage of better mileage.
So i think for a package of 5000 extra, SP makes more sense. But of course, if you want to change rear tyre into a thicker one, it would set you back another 2000.

@@alfreddesouza542 hi, Yesterday I had test ride of SP 125. hight is short if we compare with CB Shine and not comfortable for people taller than 5.8. I observed there is no auto sail future that you said all FI bikes contain now. Gear shift is not at all smooth but might settle down during the time by first service

How is your experience with glamour
If you want a commute bike, the glamour is probably the best option for you from all aspects in 125cc. The top speed in my variant is almost 95 kmph. & the vibrations reduces if you use semi synthetic oil(I use Motul 5100, 10w30). Mileage I get is satisfactory: 50+ kmpl to 56.5 kmpl (based on the revving & city/highway ride). You will get good performance from your bike if you service it on time, change engine oil, air filter, spark plug at regular intervals.
I prefer Hero Glamour over Honda Shine or other 125cc bikes.
The problems I faced so far is
1. Gear shifting issue i.e. gear gets stuck sometimes but I don’t face the problem at all ever since I have changed to Motul engine oil.
2. the the plastic support of tail lamp. It breaks/gets loose & makes noise quite a few times.

no..on a 70-80 speed ur bike may sleep..u will not get nice grip with these tyres..but u can change the tyres
