In this video, we'll be taking a look at a second vacated house. I liked the first one better, but this one is nice, too! I hope you enjoy it. :)

”BIGFOOT CAME AND KICKED THE DOOR IN" 👣🤣🤣 YOU'RE SO FUNNY 😂
If the walls could talk . . . imagine the memories to be shared. Just beautiful ❣️
What a gorgeous house to just be abandoned 😪
Yeah made me kind of sad
super sad
Right!? 🤯
I'd spend my life out on that amazing deck, surrounded by the trees and birds. It looks like paradise.
i kept saying that in my head while watching
Wow, what a beautiful home just to be abandoned and torn down. I would love to live there. So beautiful!
wow that layout is beautiful 😭
It's such a cool house in a beautiful area. So sad that those trees will be cut down. Thanks for sharing!
How sad they’re gonna tear it down! It’s such a cool and beautiful house 😢
I wonder if the people who loved that house will ever see this video. Even if they were moving on to bigger and better things, there is nothing you can do once it is not yours anymore and I imagine no matter what the circumstances it would be sad to see the damage even if you knew it would be demolished. Sometimes it is better not to know. All the random possessions left behind in these two houses just adds to the strangeness.
Jump scare at 16:31 😂😂😂 I know she wasn’t there alone but that person was super quite
Looooving these types of videos! You are awesome!
❤❤❤❤
Think of all the things that can be salvaged from that house…windows, doors, wood from the deck, cabinets, island, counter tops, tub, tiles etc…I hope it’s stripped before it’s demolished! If I was renovating or building a new home and knew about this place I’d be picking it clean 😂 😂
The house is incredible, it’s so upsetting they’re knocking it down and all the trees down too! just to build houses that all look the same with no nature :(
Thanks for touring around for us!
PLEASEEEE continue abandoned house tours/cleaning. These are the best videos.
I doubt there are many near her. These two were on the same property.
So sad that this obviously custom made house is being demolished for a crappy bunch of townhomes. We are losing the tranquil forests, farms, fields to greedy cash grabs. Oh well, it was the owner’s choice to sell.
We are losing more of those things to build endlessly sprawling single family neighborhoods. At least townhomes fit a lot more people in the same amount of space.
Sad all of those beautiful trees will be destroyed in the process☹ living here in the Desert I sure do miss the beauty here. Love that voice though! Thanks again for all of the hard work you put in for all of us here in ASMR land.♥
Yup. Heartbreaking for all of the wildlife. Greed just keeps destroying our beautiful planet.
@@KateMich12 Sad but true!
Beautiful trees were obviously cut down to build this house, not to mention the trees cut down for building material for this house.
This is the house of my dreams! That back deck alone is enough to just make you fall in love with this house! What a shame this beautiful house is gonna be torn down.
So sad for all the animals and nature in the area! It’s heartbreaking
I think I just discovered a new ASMR trigger! When Mary kept assuring us that she wasn’t alone or wasn’t going to get injured “It’s alright. It’s okay. I’m alright.” The gentle reassurance seems to be my new ASMR trigger. And I’m glad you were careful and had a friend with you for backup 🧡
Getting some mad Stranger Things vibes from this house.
400 acres 😢😢😢 So sorry, Mother Earth.
Building townhomes is better for the earth than building single family homes. The same number of SFH would take upwards of 5x the amount of space, meaning you’d need to bulldoze even more forests.
I love this style house and I am so sad that no developer is building single family homes anymore. They could work around the mature trees and try to preserve some of the nature.
“No developer is building single family homes…” virtually all development in America is single family homes. It’s honestly shocking that this developer wants to build townhomes that would be more affordable and could house more people, especially important since we are in a nationwide housing shortage.
I absolutely loved you going through the last house and tidying it up. I've been hoping you'd do another one xx
That is beautiful land and love the deck-a-round
But the details!!!!
Wish someone like “habitat for humanity” could go in and get the drawers/ those beautiful glass doors? Toilets/ showers/counters/ sooo much!!!
And such a waste to just be razed!
Ugly, expensive. Crammed together like sardines, townhomes.😂...She is so right💯
So sad this and all the beautiful trees are going to be destroyed by greedy entitled humans
Greedy entitled humans? Lol people have to live somewhere... the reason the cost of housing has increased so rapidly is because new construction isn't keeping pace with massive population growth. If we are going to allow millions of people to move here every year we have no choice but to build more housing
Thanks for showing this. That would be my dream house. If I were a kid growing up there I would have roller skated all over that deck. What a waste. ☹️
As a resident of NC, I claim squatters rights to this house😂
I used to watch a few realtor walk through videos for the ASMR, I could TOTALLY see you doing those! They get lots of views too.
I found your last two stepped house walk-through - before it was destroyed - surprisingly relaxing, and interesting on so many levels. A huge fan of all your work, especially the organizational videos. you have a gift and you use it and I’m so grateful. Look forward to watching this.❤
Miss Mary, please stay safe when visiting places like this. I to am a abandoned explorer so to speak, and I've come across some crazy people while visiting places.
I take the necessary precautions
@@SouthernASMRSoundsmay I ask how?
She took someone else with her. You can see the other person at 16:31 in the video.@@bbwa5319
@@bbwa5319 the friend probably has a wireless hole puncher
This house is amazing!!! Love it I can just imagine the holidays and gatherings in that lovely home had over the years! So sad yo see it go what a stunning home!
16:31 That scared me SO BAD!!! I wasn’t expecting a person to be standing there!!! 😂
As I mentioned, I wasn't there alone
Yeah it was like a jump scare. I thought maybe there was someone waiting outside lol
Omg I screamed so loud!!
Yes! I saw that too!! How freaky!!! Were you not scared Mary?!?!?!
She said she was not there alone. It was obvious it was her friend.
The house reminds me of The Last of Us and Days Gone. One of my favorite things in post-apocalyptic games are the nature taking back houses and buildings. Both sad and reassuring at the same time.
What a waste of a beautiful kitchen that someone else could get so much use out of!! Great video Mary, I especially enjoyed the drive up the driveway - sooo relaxing 😊
Glowing in the intro, mary! ✨️ appreciate your touring my dream home..the things I could do with that , with a few 100 thousand 😂
I already miss it and I’ve never even know it. It’s a darn shame.
That’s a cool house. I would be afraid of snakes and spiders though. Walking around that deck I would think anything was a danger noodle.
Bears!
I sure hope an architectural salvage co can have at it before demolition 😮 so much cool stone, wood floors, granite etc.
That second small kitchen off the main kitchen is most likely a butlers kitchen or “butlers pantry.” I see them often in higher end homes. I am a real estate photographer, and I’m in and out of about 4 houses per day on average, so I see lots of things lol, but this is always interesting to see inside abandoned homes. Love the stone work on the exterior as well!
I've heard them referred to as "prep kitchens", where you can do most of the work for parties and then close the door and hide the mess.
@@sharonzotoff3975 oh that’s awesome!! Genius.
Am I the only one that would feel too scared sh*fleas to go in there?
Wow 18 million would be LIFE changing to literally any middle class American. I think a lot of young people grow numb to hearing big numbers that like because of social media and 50 million dollar contracts being thrown around the NFL and such.
That would have been an amazing fixer upper! I initially read the title as vacation house tour😅 I got excited bc I live in NC and love to see videos of people's vacay rentals. It helps me plan my trips based off of their reviews.
I really hope stuff is going to be salvaged from this home. The flooring and deck lumber alone are worth a fortune! Not to mention the granite, glass, fixtures, etc. what a tragedy. I love this property.
”BIGFOOT CAME AND KICKED THE DOOR IN" 👣🤣🤣
Houses in woodland always give me the creeps
Me too! Feels so isolated…
Mary, I LOVE these types of videos I have watched them for years. Thank you for taking us along with you! I always wonder about the families who once lived there: who they were, the time they spent designing and decorating the house, if newborn babies were brought home there, birthdays, happy times, sad times...
Anyway, thank you!
I wish there was a way to keep some of the trees. Our Earth truly needs them but humans don’t care about that. They just want to keep building stuff we don’t need. Very sad that another piece of nature will be destroyed
These are my favorite videos from you! Thank you!!
You are so welcome! 😊
Wow I absolutely love the way the deck goes all the way around. This must have been a beautiful home. It doesn’t even look that old either, such a shame that it’s gonna be gone
I would take the kitchen island and glass edged doors out and bring home
90s American Dream House. So sad.
as a person who works in alot of homes and mamy like this... its crazy how cool these older home can be
Thinking they probably had live in cleaning/maid or live in nanny for the extra kitchen area
Glad you walk through these during the daytime. I imagine it gets really _dark_ out there at night!
Great video, sad to see a waste of a good house.
it's a beautiful house. Love the massive deck. I'm so tired of subdivisions and liminal developments
It is so beautiful but I watch way to much horror movies and would hate being that far out. But it's so pretty
This house would be beautiful when renovated
Where i live they are destroying thousands of acres of farm land for GM battery factory and amazon data centers
Can only think that perhaps the 2nd kitchen is for the prep of different foods. Some religions require it.
Love your videos Mary! I think you would be an amazing real estate agent! 🥰
The storage in this house is amazing. I don’t know if I would even have enough stuff to fill it but I love how there’s so many cool places to put things
Makes me sad also that people think they can vandalize other’s property 😢, so many people would benefit if they atleast repurposed some of the materials inside ,like the island,
The lawns look likw theyre regularly mowed by someone so squatters would soon be noriced !
The spaciousness and abundant nature is what made me fall in love with NC. I'd love to live there!
dreamhouse,,,could have a garage band and campfires and nobody would ever bother you
The perfect video after a long day. Thank you so much, Mary! 💛
I’m in the same area as you and this is such a bummer.
Such a shame it’s all being torn down. Those beautiful trees. So many things in the house could at least be salvaged. Sad. 😔 enjoyed this house tour also Mary. Thanks.
The second kitchen is a spice kitchen. It’s really common for ethnic households. It’s where you can cook curries and stuff without staining the main kitchen and also keeps the smell contained.
Sad for the trees!
The house looks so peaceful outside but the layout of the rooms looks messy tho
Thanks for this amazing tour, very interesting! Just so you know, you look stunning ! great choice of ; outfit, hairstyle, makeup!
Such a beautiful home. Sad to see someone’s dream home and such beautiful architecture and nice appliances to be torn down
What a beautiful house! That driveway reminds me of the road to your dad's house. Such a bummer all the beautiful land is going to be cleared.
What an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful home! Such a shame it was abandoned! Big reality needs to be stopped!
The one thing that would make me hesitate about living there is finding a way to plow that driveway after a snowfall. Other than that, this is my dream!
That is my kind of house! Love it so much! That second kitchen could be a kosher kitchen, maybe?
This is like a shopaholics dream home, so many places to store Nick nacks haha. Loved the video ❤
all i can say is damn......
This house is stunning! So open and surrounded by nature. I hate that it been abandoned.
Thanks to you.....and Glenda the good witch....for the tour. I love these!
Nice video Muscle Superwoman 😊💚🥁
That’s a really cool property. It’s a shame what happened to it.
you remind me so much of my momma, i really appreciate your videos 😊
I am so sad! I LOVE this house and its location, off all by itself. It looks like it was really a beautiful place before vandals got in there. I wonder why the owners left it? And what were their original plans with all that acreage? I would have loved it for extended family homes, like a homestead. Aww, my heart hurts for this home.
It was a working farm many years ago.
I think the little kitchen is a butler’s pantry.
I’d love to know the history of the house. Who last lived there?
Beautiful house, a shame they will demolish it 😢
It lowkey looks like the house from the Ozarks show.
Wow so gorgeous 😢
Gosh why would someone just leave it makes no sense ❤
The driving sounds in the beginning are heavenly!! 😍
Why are they putting town homes here ughhh
This is my dream home, a can literally see myself living here. Like, if tomorrow I would go home, and find myself here, it would just feel so natural, like I've been living here my whole life.
I’m scared of those houses. What if they left because it was haunted? I know it’s unlikely but there has to be energy vibes. And it’s isolated 😮
I would've given anything to own and live on this property and house. I'm the biggest introvert and it would just be a total dream for me!
Very cool! No neighbors except trees is my ultimate goal. Also, that side kitchen area off the main space is a classic butlers pantry.
Wow what a beautiful place 😍
I think they call those second kitchens a “butlers kitchen” or “butlers pantry.” Doubt the owners had a butler, but maybe they hosted holidays and parties and thought the extra prep space would be useful.
