Starts at 0:17 for those who are playing along and training and don't want to keep waiting through the intro...
But that pounding drum line builds up the excitement!
Maybe not after a few times. It's just like recording with a drum machine and having to turn it off again while again to listen to the playback. I agree that it works well in the song, but if you are missing a beat or change then it sucks to hear the beginning again and again.

This is a great bass line!!! Does anyone knows, was this line "written", created by the bass player or the Keyboardplayer or producer of the Bloodhound Gang?!

According to a documentary from the 2000s a studio musician or other band members record the bass lines. If you look at live performances of this song, the guitar player plays the main riff and the bass player does the rhythm work. Although it looks like a playback. Evil Jared really isn't a great bass player by his own admission.
@@g.waldmeister1851 surely he's just being humble..I can play a couple of bass lines, problem is, I know next to nothing in music theory.. I've just always loved the bass. 48-never to late to learn. But one thing I got, I taught myself to read tablature a few years ago when mucking around with a 6-string. Mostly applies to bass it seems so far.. I started a list that will never end, a list of all the bass lines I've ever wanted to play. This song is in the top 10..I go through the list and check out covers/tutorials and see if I got a chance of picking it up. Or not.. Give me an evening with a couple beers and a joint or two, I'll have this.. refining until it's exactly the same may be more of an issue..rock on

Why play bass and guitar sub par when you can play both at the same time and it sounds pretty good. Granted this guy put too much treble on his amp
