Great video content! Apologies for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you researched - Millawdon Goodbye Gray Trick (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind guide for learning how to reverse gray hair fast minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.
Creme of Nature is an EXCELLENT product line! I'm a naturalista as well, and I ❤❤ their natural hair care products, specifically the Argan Oil line. When it comes to REAL color, my aunt does mine. She is a professional stylist that specializes in color. When she dyes my hair in the shop, we use Wella (permanent or demi-permanent). However, when we do the process at home, she only uses Creme of Nature.
Girls, I tried the medium warm brown with the code 7.3 in this line just yesterday and I love love love the result. The color is rich vibrant and it's more of a chocolate brown with dimensions, not a boring flat brown. I love it on my hair. But I gotta say that since my hair has been color and heat damaged before and it's very very fine, I didn't use the developer it came with but instead bought Clairol creme developer 10 vol. 10 didn't lift much and didn't damage my hair but still deposited the color so brilliantly. That argan oil in the little tube though wow...
Thank you so much for this video 😭♥ I plan to dye my hair soon, and I was thinking of interval dyeing but I didn't even know it was an actual technique so I was scared I'd damage my hair doing that. This just gave me the confidence to go ahead. Thanks, and your hair is beautiful!
How are you not wearing a mask 😷 that ammonia was killing me. Tried coloring my wig but I may color my natural hair soon. Love how yours turned out 😍😍😍😍
New subbie i got my hair colored in a honey red from the creme of nature line i was kind of shock at first and couldnt stop stairing at my self lol but then it actually looked great!!
Hahah thanks so much Eboni! The struggle is real sometimes - I just want to cut it off into a tapered style, but can't stop thinking about the year+ of work that I'll throw away. Seems petty, but I've worked hard to get my hair to a decent point. Thanks so much for watching!
i love you already 😍😘 that the color i have been waiting to dye but after this video am so going for it , thank you so much for this video i subscribed before you even finished 😆
+Tan B. Thanks so much! Sorry that I wasn't able to capture that footage for you. If you check out Creme of Nature's RUclips channel, you can see the process being done on a few girls. Good luck! :)
Beautiful my hair is natural too using other colors but never last long so I discovered cream of nature just last week visiting a hair store so I'm going to try it to day thanks your hair comes out amazingly beautiful love it 💘 😻 💜 💛
Ugh! I hate that! I don't have any grey really, but I watch a YTer that does and she uses (red) Henna, it works SO well. Hope that helps out and thanks for watching!!
+Ms Black Honestly, yes. I feel like anyone who says their hair didnt get dryer after color treatment is extremely lucky or flat out lying. I have an updated video talking about my hair color now and showing what my hair looks like almost 6 months later! Feel free to check it out ;-)
This was so helpful! Im wanting to brighten my hair for the summer and don't trust anybody in my new town to do it haha. Im hoping to get the kind of ombre effect that you have on the front of your hair. Fingers crossed! Thanks!
+Tavia Riveé Yay!! I hope it works out for you! I know this stuff can react differently in everyone's here, but its nice to have a point of reference. :) Thanks for your support!
+Domoneak Rucker Hahah right?! Ive used the dark and lovely kit with the highlights, and it barely showed. I'm just really surprised/impressed with this kit!
Thanks for sharing. You are so pretty and pleasant to hear and watch. Love the outcome of the dye. I only wish you had applied the front to your entire head. I think it would have look really good.
I want to dye my hair burgundy red ,but I've purchased the light brown blonde and a burgundy red from creme of nature, I'm unsure if I should apply the blonde color first to my whole head as a lightener and then come back with the red . Do you have any tips I should follow? Pleaseee respond😢
Hi MJ! My technique was a little difference so I'm not really sure if I'm the best resource...I'm thinking since the blonde definitely "lifts" the color from your hair, it would be a good idea to start with that dye and then follow up with the red. Now do I think it should be done in the same session? Nope. I think thats a lot of dying for one session and could break your hair off. In the end, going to a stylist is always best! Good luck!! ❤️❤️
Do not use two box dyes like that on your hair it will break off . I did that and it changed the texture of my hair and some broke off . My friend also did that with this brand and it fell out . You need to lighten your hair first with bleach but use it wisely
It didn't take to the middle of my hair or ends, I used 2 boxes and have very long hair and had enough. I have dyed my hair through the years do you think this stopped my hair from taking to the colour? My roots are so bright and the rest has just gone a lighter brown. I used ginger blonde 10.1
So my hair was 100% virgin - no color, rinses, or anything. That could be why it took so well. If you've dyed your hair at all - the results are def going to be compromised as you're technically applying dye onto previously treated hair. Sorry that you had a bad experience! (Your roots are bright bc its "virgin/non-dyed hair")
I know you said it I just wanna make sure I understand: so you put the brown all over then applied the blonde? Within the same session though right? And your hair is virgin? Bc I want this color and don’t wanna bleach but people keep saying it’s not possible. Do you feel that the brown helped lighten your hair for the blonde?
Wow so helpful, am a new subbie and I have been looking to dye my hair, I tried the Loreal feria in intense red but it only kind of coated my hair, but am looking to try the shades you have used hopefully I get a good colour after the intense red. Great tutorial
Thank you so so much! I'm really glad it helped out! I was lucky to have "virgin" natural hair at the time, so I received optimal results. If you try it, let me know how it goes!!
I know I already commented, but I had to come back to your video again and say how great of a job you did. I know salons do not like to use box hair color, but 'm going to ask my stylist to use Cream of Nature Exotic shine on my hair. Questions, does my hair have to be clean. I normally color or have my hair colored a few days after washing and with product on my hair.
Thank you thank you!! I know this is a late comment, but wanted to know I appreciate your support! The box said your hair needs to be clean, but I don't like it being washed the day of because it feels too "stripped." I washed my hair two days before :)
Okay thanks! How is your hair now? I watched your follow up video to this and you said it dried your hair out and you would go to a salon in the future for coloring.
I really like the colour. I am planning to do a little colouring myself. I wanted to see what your hair looks like let down. Do the colours transition well?
I really don't know if my hair will take the color. It's really dark and stubborn! Lol. Is hair developer like peroxide or bleach?? I really don't want to damage my hair
Thanks for the comment! The box kit does have some type of developer to make the hair this blonde, so you definitely want to be wary. I had virgin, SUPER dark hair that practically looked black and it made it this color. So if your hair was anything like mine, it'll surely lift your color.
hi great color.. i love cream of nature hair color kit.. did you rinse color out than shampoo? r just rinse color out and deep cond..? reason i ask bc it say on the box to shampoo but there is no shampoo in the kit like it use to be a while back.. only cond..
+Vicky “babydollv1” Hall Thanks so much! I used diluted shampoo - the dye/formula "suds" when you're rinsing it out so maybe thats what they consider the shampoo step? I don't remember there being shampoo in my box either
Camillia Peoples hey camillia - So I dyed the back half of my first with the brown, waited 15 mins or so, then applied brown to the top half of my hair, let it sit for like 5 mins to being processing and then started to apply the blonde color from the tips up. So at the very tips, leave for like 4-5 mins, then add blonde above that portion, wait, etc so that you get the “ombré” effect. Hope that helps! ♥️
My hair is naturally curly and I want to try this product but the thing is I don't leave my hair in its natural state. I always flat iron my hair, do you think it would damage my hair from the heat i plan to use on it?
I usually don;t use heat on my hair, so when I decided to dye it for me, it was one or the other. I think both flat ironing and hair dye is going to make your hair extremely dry/brittle. You'd have to be religious with your moisturizing/sealing routine. Good luck!
Hello, I really want to re-create the look you did. so did you put the medium brown all over then wash it out, and then put the ginger blonde in or did you put the ginger blonde over the medium blonde dye???
+Your Curly Conscience Hey! So I put the brown all over the bottom 1/2 of my head and let it process for like 25 mins. Then I completely rinsed it and put a shower cap over it to keep it protected. Then I put the brown all over the top half of my head, gave it like 15 mins, then started to apply the blonde color (at different time increments) from tips to roots. Hope that helps! :)
Wow great video I have been back in forth on adding color to my hair and this really helped...I do have one question you said you rinsed out the warm brown out first was that after adding the ginger brown or before?? Also did you add the warm brown to the front as well and what were the wait times before adding the ginger brown??
+Ebony Wynn Hey Ebony! Thanks for watching! I rinsed out the lower half before starting on the ginger blonde just because it had been in/processing for about 25-30 mins at that point. (And the color was already brown) Once i rinsed that out, I added the warm brown only to my roots on the top (about 2-3 inches) Then I started applying the ginger blonde from middle to ends. I applied it so random areas, waited about 10 mins, then applied to other random areas, waited about another 10, etc - until it was all covered. I know it sounds kinda confusing, but I hope that helps!!
I see that you dyed your back brown, but did you dye your top brown as well and then placed the blonde on top? If so did you do it all the same day or did you wait a day or two? OR did you place the brown then let it sit and then come back with the blonde? Than you.
Hi there! As far as I know, there is no way to do that without "bleaching." You need a product that will LIFT your current color and anything that will lift color, will usually contain some sort of bleaching agent. Definitely keep researching and good luck!
Great question! To my knowledge, if a product "lifts/lightens" your natural hair color, then it has to have some form of bleach. So my hair turned blonde because it contains some type of lifter/bleach. Hope that helps!
Hey! I love your color! Did you put on a plastic cap and/or use heat to process the color once you put it on your hair? I just got some color today and it says not to but I was wondering if you did it to get your color.
+Keisha Oak Thanks so much! I didnt use heat or a cap to process the color more. I only used a shower cap because I didnt want the brown section on the bottom to touch the blonde that I was applying. :)
Hi there! I love this colour and totally wanna try it.. did you put the brown first in the front, wash that out then put blonde or did you put the blonde dye whilst the brown mixture was still on?
Thank you Nadine! I did the brown on the back half of my hair first - let it sit for like 30 mins. Rinsed it out. Then I applied the blonde the tips of my hair (front half) and worked my way up - timing it. I hope that makes sense! ❤️
Hey! So no dyes were mixed together. The stuff you see me mixing is the solution for the dye - it’s just how crane of nature made it. But I did the dark brown color in the back, then the lighter golden honey on the front - from tips to roots. Hope that helps!!

+Carla Roseman I've really been in love with the Shea Moisture deep conditioners! It sucks because SO many have protein in it and my hair can be sensitive to that stuff. Of course, making natural DCs can help to control protein overload. Natural85 has a handful of good ones that worked for me!
love the look. My question is, did you dye the top root brown to match the back? And putting the blonde on the top could you do it all at the same time or did you have to do one color then go back and do the other color. What I want to do with my hair is I want my root to be a darker color but want to have kind of a auburn tips. And I've been looking to see the best way to do it. Can't afford the salon at the moment, plus like you would rather do it myself that way I kind of get the result I want then have them do it the way they want. But yet again don't want to damage my hair to much.
Hey Michelle. So I put the dark brown on the back area first and let it sit. Then, I put the brown in the front half, let it process for maybe 3-5 mins, then started to apply the blonde color from ends to root with several mins in between my intervals. So 1/2 an inch up from the ends, wait 5 mins, then an inch higher, wait 5 mins, inch higher, etc. Hope that makes sense since I'm not a pro! 🙏🏽🙏🏽💕
+Violet Butterscotch Thanks so much for watching & for the comment. I started off putting foil on the ends because I doubted the dye could lift my color this much. But I got lazy 10 mins in and just stopped using them -- so technically, no I didnt really use foils lol
Hey Carrie! So you have two boxes of the Creme of Nature dye? I'd still recommending mixing each kit as per the instructions. If you're trying to 'lift' your color at all, you'll need some type of developer/bleach. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks for the video. Did you ever have negative experiences with CoN? Negative reviews are popping up about dryness, breakage after using. Would love your opinion.
TYSM! And it was fine at first (I posted an update video a little while after this one) but when it grew out to ends, it definitely broke them off. I think it worked for some people, but was harsh on my ends so haven’t dyed my hair since 🙌🏽
Hey! My hair is naturally REALLY dark. I wouldnt say "black", but dark dark dark brown to where it looks black. The box kit most likely had some type of bleach or color lifting agent since it made my hair that blonde. I'd definitely read the back of the box before purchasing, just in case youre afraid of any of the ingredients. ;) Good luck!
She Meets City omg thanks! But did it change your hair course any or just a little? I decided to just go with a blonde color before I go in with burgondy for a brighter color
Rebekah Garner the texture of my hair didn’t really change, but it definitely got drier over time. Like a lot drier than usually. So deep conditioning every wash is going to be your holy grail! I also made a “follow-up” video about how the color was settling in and my thoughts on coloring it! You should check it out! ♥️♥️
Not sure how to completely remove it without a professional? But if you want it back dark, you could wait a few weeks and dye it darker or try to use a rinse?
Loved how you said “I had no help, except fiancé holding the camera and I had to bribe him with food”
Hahahh yess! Bribery at its finest

That’s valid and I’m a dude so sum chipotle. It’s over. No hesitation once so ever. The house will be clean in 30 minutes spotless
This is actually processing in my hair as I'm watching this ! I can't wait to see my results ! Yours looks great !!
+Chrissy Green YESS!! If thats your color in your profile pic, it looks cute!!

The back color came out really good being that your hair is really dark 😍
Thanks so much!! Your fro is looking great too!
This video was so informative! Probably the best I've seen on this topic.
Thank you so much Vamica! I really appreciate that!
I love it and I want to get it done. Do you have a video of the process itself ?
Thank you so much for this video 😭♥ I plan to dye my hair soon, and I was thinking of interval dyeing but I didn't even know it was an actual technique so I was scared I'd damage my hair doing that. This just gave me the confidence to go ahead. Thanks, and your hair is beautiful!

Your hair color is really gorgeous. I'm just looking for ideas for a new color, and this is certainly going to be one of the options I choose from.
+Imani Kidd Thanks so much! You should definitely look into this dye, I'm truly impressed!!
I absolutely LOVE your hair color. That is the color that I would like to achieve, exactly the same, the back darker than the front.
Here in 2021 and still the best video on this topic.
How are you not wearing a mask 😷 that ammonia was killing me. Tried coloring my wig but I may color my natural hair soon. Love how yours turned out 😍😍😍😍
Hahah we had a lot of windows open and the vent going but it was still crazy strong! and thanks so much ♥️♥️
Your hair came out Beautiful. Love it. Great job.

I wear my hair in a wash and go. I'm coloring it this weekend and hoping my curl pattern does not change. love this though - beautiful!
+Bashi Stirling Best of luck! I LOOOVE wash and goes, but I really don't like how much my hair shrinks :(
I'm lazy plus I have an 18 month old...lol
So what your routine?
I love it! I want to use Creme of nature hair dye! But I love how you looked without make up!
+Shody Larkins Thanks so much!!
+She Meets City no problem!
New subbie i got my hair colored in a honey red from the creme of nature line i was kind of shock at first and couldnt stop stairing at my self lol but then it actually looked great!!
We are exactly the same, as far as why we dyed our hair and while we want those cute cuts, we're trying to grow out our hair. I feel you honey. tfs
Hahah thanks so much Eboni! The struggle is real sometimes - I just want to cut it off into a tapered style, but can't stop thinking about the year+ of work that I'll throw away. Seems petty, but I've worked hard to get my hair to a decent point. Thanks so much for watching!

+Violet Butterscotch YAY! Thanks so much - glad I could help!!
I heard that some of the creme of nature don’t have bleach like the honey blonde, did yours have bleach?
Beautiful! Great tips. Your makeup is on point!! Thanks for sharing.
+the Happiest Homemaker Ever Thank you so much!!!
Im new to your channel but I love the way your color came out. it looks amazing
Wow thanks so much Kimberly!
Your hair looks great! I wish I was able to see what you did to the top part to get it to process in 30 min. I am really considering trying this.
+Tan B. Thanks so much! Sorry that I wasn't able to capture that footage for you. If you check out Creme of Nature's RUclips channel, you can see the process being done on a few girls. Good luck! :)

It turned out cute!
Now I wanna try box color again lol I used dark and lovely box color twice back then and it didn't work at all ugh! lol I can totally relate
+Domoneak Rucker Hahah right?! Ive used the dark and lovely kit with the highlights, and it barely showed. I'm just really surprised/impressed with this kit!

My hair is a medium brown barely burgundy color, I really want to lighten it but I’m scared it will turn orange , need suggestions 💜
I have a question, was your hair jet black prior to using this color?
I really like the colour. I am planning to do a little colouring myself. I wanted to see what your hair looks like let down. Do the colours transition well?

Hello,
Where can I find information on the coloring process that you used to achive this amazing color?
+LaChawda Smith Hello! I visited PRoy's channel, the Creme of Nature channel, and SmartistaBeauty's channel for inspiration!
Did you dye your entire head brown first? When you applied the blonde was the brown already rinsed out on top?
Camillia Peoples hey camillia - So I dyed the back half of my first with the brown, waited 15 mins or so, then applied brown to the top half of my hair, let it sit for like 5 mins to being processing and then started to apply the blonde color from the tips up. Absolutely freggin LOVE IT!!! Soooo beautiful!!!
Asalaam Alaikum thanks so so much for the sweet comment!
Good luck!

A job well done and beautiful 👏👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😍😍
OMG sooo helpful I appreciate your response back 😘
Just subscribed! Great video! I'm thinking of coloring my hair and this video was helpful!!
+DRenee Natural Thanks so much for your support! If you feel confident about it and have all the research, I say do it! Life is short ;-)
I see that you dyed your back brown, but did you dye your top brown as well and then placed the blonde on top? If so did you do it all the same day or did you wait a day or two? OR did you place the brown then let it sit and then come back with the blonde? Than you.
Hey! I dyed the back brown, then dyed the front brown. Waited about 5-7 minutes and began adding the blonde to the tips 😊 Hope that helps!
Ok I'm going to try it. Thnkx 👍👀
Did you dye the top part brown first then go over it with blonde?
did u have to add any lifter to the feont color or did the box kit take it from that base dark brown to the blonde color
Thanks for the comment Dana! I achieved that color purely from the box kit. :) My hair was dark, dark brown - nearly black. Hope that helps!
Ty
Hi dear, i am just watching for the first time so what's advice do you have for me.
Hello im trying to go from dark to light what should i do to achieve that without bleaching
Hi there! As far as I know, there is no way to do that without "bleaching." You need a product that will LIFT your current color and anything that will lift color, will usually contain some sort of bleaching agent. Definitely keep researching and good luck!
OK thank you
I've seen some products on RUclips that I'm gonna try
hey so I literally just both the creme of nature kit for red hair coloring & I just wanted to know if this is different from using bleach ?
Great question! To my knowledge, if a product "lifts/lightens" your natural hair color, then it has to have some form of bleach. So my hair turned blonde because it contains some type of lifter/bleach. Hope that helps!
Will this products color change my hair I been used black to roots of my hair
***** You're welcome!! :D
And that's awesome!! And that makes sense.
I love these colors they are great for the fall. Lol
I love it but I don't want a permanent color will look for semi color in it just gorgeous
yes that is helpful! thank you !!
So you dyed the back of your head medium brown first. Did you dye the front medium brown as well or just the ginger blonde?
T-Free MADE she did the whole head med. brown 1st
Did she mix the 2 dyes for the top half together ? Or did she do the darker color 1st and add the blonde on top of that m
Hey! So no dyes were mixed together. The stuff you see me mixing is the solution for the dye - it’s just how crane of nature made it. But I did the dark brown color in the back, then the lighter golden honey on the front - from tips to roots. Hope that helps!!

Okay. Thanks.
The blonde didnt work for me even after 30 mins…😭. I will try again in a week.
Nice color!!
TY! If you dont have "virgin" hair that could be the reason why. My hair hadn't had a dark rinse or any type of dye when I did this!
you did an awesome job
+SS “Naturalbeauty4abc” Walker Thank you so much!!
What type of deep conditioner do you use? I am trying to find a good one without protein.
+Carla Roseman I've really been in love with the Shea Moisture deep conditioners! It sucks because SO many have protein in it and my hair can be sensitive to that stuff. Of course, making natural DCs can help to control protein overload. Natural85 has a handful of good ones that worked for me!
Okay, do you know if her hair is high or low porosity?
I believe its low
Love this!!
In the front did you use the blonde &&' the honey brown ?
I did! Honey brown first, wait about 10 mins, then applied the blonde from tip to root in intervals. Hope that helps!!
love the look.
I love it 🙌🏽
Ps did use any foil?? I didn't notice any but I notice alot of other you tubers have and I don't have time for that lol.
+Violet Butterscotch Thanks so much for watching & for the comment. I started off putting foil on the ends because I doubted the dye could lift my color this much. But I got lazy 10 mins in and just stopped using them -- so technically, no I didnt really use foils lol
+She Meets City foils heat up your hair too much too fast so it's good you don't use them. 😊
+Johnnetta Free Yes you're so right! I jumped the gun for no reason, but my mistake will hopefully help someone else :) Thanks so much!
Hi I'm so happy I found your video. Did you use both colors on the top of your hair?
+Mimi Iman Hi Mimi! thanks so much! I did used both colors in the top! The brown toward the roots, and blonde all over the rest :)
+She Meets City ok, thanks
You did a good job!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that!
Hello I have two boxes of dye you think I should use both developers with both colors or just bottle of developer and the two colors?
I think it worked for some people, but was harsh on my ends so haven’t dyed my hair since 🙌🏽
Did you use bleach? And is your natural hair black? I just wanna know before I use the products on my hair
She Meets City omg that's really helpful thanks so much!😊
Bonjour. J'ai des locks. Mais je n'a rivé pas ?
I used the same brand but I lowkey hate the color.Any tips on how to remove the dye?
Not sure how to completely remove it without a professional? But if you want it back dark, you could wait a few weeks and dye it darker or try to use a rinse?
