Necromunda is really a whole universe unto itself. These videos make me appreciate how truly complex the 40k Verse' can be. Thanks GDN!

And is just one world among thousands of thousands.
Many are quick to say the Imperium is terrible and uncaring: it actually is but not for the sake of it. Imagine to have to administrate thousands of worlds each one as complex and unique like Necromunda at the same time, while being treated by alien races and even evil gods.
Again, the Imperium is horrible but under these circumstances how could it be blamed (so much)?

Oh boy Mike and Frank from American pickers would be at home in house Cawdor salvage picking ways of relics if they can get used to and survive all the wars and strange things that might make your mind go crazy in 40K Plus the video posting of Leatherface holding a flamer gun is what house Cawdor needs 😁👍

You know what's terrifying about all this... the fact that this is a pretty decent life compared to what bad can actually happen to you across the 40K galaxy...

Life is probably marginally better on non hive world planets, like agri worlds.

Well, "pathetic" is the kinder term I could use for the Cawdor's condition: poor bastards, I almost feel sorry for them.

Well, this was just depressing. Not due to hearing of economics and the accounting and minutae that subject alludes to, but how the literal Dregs of Cawdor are the mass majority of miserable muckrakers and mudscrapers making up this most derided but nonetheless necessary House's functions. The Teamsters of the trash heaps; every 'communal hub' is likely a dump. And lots of potential careers as Cawdor versions of the Ratcatcher, great.
The clan's heraldric sigul's frame is made of bones picked clean; as though representing the scrounging. A house veritably based upon hobos, they're the would-be suppliers of the “antiques” and memorabilia shops of the 40k universe. It's difficult to decide whether being a Cawdor slave is any worse or better than life as a garbage-sifting ganger. I guess indentured servitude would prevent a useful tool, er, member the aesthetic freedom to mount burning candles on your shoulder and a huge noose made out of oversized tall ship rigging around your neck (that guy seen after 7:45). The trio of masks shown late in the video have an olde Terra, Victorian-theatrical aspect to them.
Would I have to join any of the factions? I, too, would skip past joining if not ignore entirely this army of the homeless with hovels if not homes, Narrator. As grimdark bring-down as this may have potential be, it's still a part of Warhammer 40k and adds more sauce to the substance of this Necromundan house. Thanks for continuing on with all the depth that there is on this setting, GDN. May you have an awesome and healthy rest of your week, and the Emperor protects.
