lol when you showed the lace trim i thought the same thing "is it concert or picnic" i'd maybe take it too far myself and try putting the trimming over the seam where you added the second piece for length, but i have very limited sewing knowledge lol maybe that'd help break it up, but then it might be a weird spot to create sectioning so idk :)

I was thinking that could be cute too!! Honestly I’m never mad about more lace so that might be the way to go!
