- Come along with Northwest Wild and Free for a day of chasing Roosevelt elk. It's what we look forward to all year - the challenge of keeping the wind in our favor, staying out of sight but within earshot, and positioning ourselves for the moment that every bow hunter wishes for. This video kicks off the series taking you through the excitement of our 2020 archery elk season.

Hi Guys looking forward to watching this last season :}
Glad your back! Love your content. I hunt the central coast .
What part of Oregon do you hunt?
Cant agree with you more on the wind issue. You can check it every 10 sec and it will be in a different direction. Have you tried bow hunting from a climbing tree stand? With heavy brush of the nw if you know there in the area you could wait till they come by and see them better. Best of luck to you out there. Also can you do a vid on the processing. Example, what you like to do with the meat. Have a hunter friend of mine make a stuffed roast with sweet sausage in the middle. He also made bacon, cheese burgers and vacume sealed them. Just curious and looking for ideas. Never hurts to find new ideas from other hunters.
Like your guys videos, awesome content look forward to seeing your 2020 hunts, and it makes me wanna try for a rosie hunting one day lol
