This is one of the rare instances where i accept the 2 characters not ending up together. it was the only way to keep the peace and there was no way around it.

And when I listen to them I can hear they are speaking English well, but they would probably feel more at ease speaking in Chinese... I get that the emperor fulfilled the evil guy's wishes out of love for his child when the prince was captured; however, that doesn't mean he was the heir to the throne. Furthermore, the prince even mentioned that he was the least favorite child. This means either his younger brothers or older brothers are better than him. I'm pretty sure he is not mentioning his sisters when talking about favoring. Who would compare themselves to their younger or older sisters in a royal family because females are not expected to succeed the throne. (Yes I know China had empresses) Do you get what I mean? If you said the prince was the closest in age to the Rouran princess or that the princess specifically asked to marry him then I'll understand. If that's the case then huge rip. 😒

This Mulan movie is by far the most accurate according to the real Mulan's history. It is the most realistic mulan movie. . The remake Mulan 2020 was not the same as this because they add the fantasy element into the movie and changed it to suit the disney-esque type of movie.
Dog tags are necklace like items which is around a soliders neck to identify them. I guess she is saying she doesn't want to see any more bloody dog tags so the dead soldiers tags covered in blood to be delivered home.
