Man you need a 66-67 Strat with big headstock, olympic white, and rosewood board, like the one he used for most of 68, his most inspired period. The white and black with maple are iconic too but the white/rosewood Strat is one that real Hendrix nerds will understand. Anyway, great stuff. More power to you guys.
You, sir Eric, are a special being. You manage to capture all of Hendrix’s nuances and total sound and tone. Im a big Strat freak myself, have studies for years. But dude you nailed it. And this one’s otherworldly, Hendrix def was not just human. You probably aren’t either. And the whole world is pretty damn envious. I tip my hat to you, sir. From Houston, Texas smack H. Anyone know what exact pickups this guy uses?? Please, I gotta find these pickups…
I totally dig it and see it as a cover with their own take/flavor on the original. I love how it marches along just behind where you want or expect it to be. You know how people practice like crazy to nail Eruption note for note and they do a great job at it? At the end of the day it’s just a copy of what Eddie did. This isn’t that and that’s what makes it great. Definitely enjoyable 👍
Another note regarding the pace of this cover, it seems it may be an homage to Jim’s performance of this song at Winterland in 1968. Check out the 12 minute soundboard version here on RUclips- it’s excellent.
@@julijaneric6470 this is your friend jimmy from face book. i had one of those JH Super 100 stacks also with Gold Lion KT-66' tubes and loved it unfortunatly i had to sell it. Just watched your video of Stone Free and it was great also. is there a master volume on the back of the Marshall head or a Attenuator i saw you reach behind the head and turn it up. Thanks jimmy
Julijan Eric, Now that u have the knowledge, now u realize Hendrix was just a magician, using gimmicks. He was just acting on stage. Now u realize how easy it is.
Get your disrespectful ass out of here ! Hendrix was a creature that inspired the whole world... A 21-year-old Turkish person says this. No one has ever done what he did before, and no one can do it quite as well now.
@@larryjackson6075 i know im right, Didn't need you to qualify my comment. that said We'll still be waiting for your easy Hendrix video's when do you see yourself posting them?
You'd have a point if it wasn't for the incredible studio work Hendrix created. Don't forget, that was on equipment that was downright primitive by today's standards.
You lead an excellent trio! The bassist and you are very tight, you have Mastered the Master!
Fantastic !!!!!
Unbelievable the way changed that up. Some of the finest playing ive ever seen

why so slow downed version?
There are a number of Jimi impersonators out there, here's one more. Randy Hansen is the best one IMO...not that the others are bad.
not an impersonator; more a disciple
Where is Miha?
Hehehe, Miha plays more Billy Cox style bass. Or did you mean my brother Miha?
When are you coming to the states???
