People can disagree and still be polite, I appreciate this about Alexis. I think it’s important to look at the other information available too, it can inform your position. I disagree with some views on this channel but I support people being who they are, whether trans or not. Cis is a Latin prefix and in no way demeans anyone who isn’t trans because it’s like saying blonde or brunette… trans or cis but anyway…

I used to like Sam, but when I left the echo chamber, I understood how much of propaganda he has in his videos, that’s crazy. If I wouldn’t check Blaire White’s videos I would probably end up still being in that gender cult, losing all my friends and being an insufferable person.

Both Sam Collins and Blaire White are living in their own echo chambers. Sam spews left-wing propaganda and Blaire spews right-wing propaganda. They're just two sides to the same coin. It's best to stop listening to RUclipsrs for guidance and formulate your own opinions by looking at facts, statistics and studies, without confirmation bias.

It’s ironic, the trans community “fighting to be their authentic selves” just to expect everyone in that community to think the same way. Alexis is way more moderate than Blair, but the algorithm does suggests one off the other. Alexis doesn’t disagree with people because they are trans, she disagrees with shitty behavior from people who happen to be trans, and if it’s assumed that everyone in the trans community thinks similarly, she doesn’t want to be represented by that.

Alexis, you are not relegated to the LGBT+ community. I’m a 55 year old married grandma 80’s kid, who is completely straight. You’re part of MY community. You’re part of the youth that tune in to hear you. You’re part of the working class, the regular people just trying to live their lives. You’re part of the freethinking LGBT people who refused to be reigned in by an ideology. You speak your mind and have your own opinion.
Exclusive leftists like Sam are going to find out very soon that the community at large is sick and tired of hearing their taunts of “pick me” “bigot” “racist” “transphobe” “TERF”. We don’t care what you call us anymore. You scolded and chastised us out of the party. 👋🏻 And now you lost the election. Bravo! We didn’t even need to support Trump. @pixie_dust1985, maybe I didn’t word it correctly (I’m not native), but it wasn’t my intention to call him a pick me, at all. I think he is changing minds for the better. I meant that I can understand where very left people can come from while calling him one, I can get why they would do that with the mindset that they have: because he is getting very certain points across, over and over again and repeats same phrases about him being the normal one. He always mentions how others accept him, that’s like the root of his content. So for them he comes across as a pick me (I’ve had a conversation with a person who very strongly opposes him). I mostly agree with him, his story is phenomenal. What I also meant is that then I don’t get why they would call Alexis a pick me, because her content is just.. different, it’s more flexible in topics that for me personally do not feel repetitive, she really dives into nuances.

I still work as a counselor for gay/bi/trans men in a clinic in SF. That said, I am subscribed and seldom miss watching YT videos from you and Liam! I find you both very fair and compassionate in the way you present your thoughts on issues. I don't always agree with your take on certain issues, and that's OK! You are probably the least pickme trans content that I can think of! I do not see you and Blair White in the same light at all. Even reacting to these "mean" comments and people speaking out against you you remain civil and don't stoop to cheap shots or easy insults. I love that, and I also realize that it probably doesn't get the clicks, likes, subscribes that more outlandish responses might. You were too respectful, but I think you being diplomatic in the face of adversity says a great deal about your character, and that completely defies all that was said against you in his comments. Unfortunately, the people in Sam’s comments are part of a much larger problem whereby trans people are expected to be homogenous, and united in their victimhood. They don’t realise that conditional acceptance of trans people is, in itself, wholly transphobic. You are entitled to respect and support whether or not you subscribe to groupthink. I know I’d rather speak on what is right, that what I’m told is right.

I think Buck Angel says it best gender dysphoria is a mental disorder and transitioningis the treatment for that disorder. And my opinion is that just like any other mental disorder it should not be stigmatized. It's not something you choose no mental disorder/illness is you can only choose whether to treat it or not, whether to try to get better and be happier or not. Anyone who trys to use mental illness as an insult or weapon against another person I think has a mental illness of their own (narrsasism, psychopathy, or antisocial personality disorder [sociopath] i think) and could use some therapy maybe then they could learn to have some compassionand to treat others with basic human decency.

Lately i'm seeing more and more people who are going at folks who are more independent or moderate or middle ground or whatever you want to call it. I like your content, Alexis, because I walk away feeling hopeful and at peace. We might not even agree, on some things we don't, but I feel like you're warm and always available for pleasant conversation. You have opinions but at the end of the day you've never come off as mean or threatening or hateful imo. I just wish more content creators would be able to do some introspection and see how the echo chambers they create are becoming harmful.
Like I'm perfectly fine with someone saying I'm "cis" or "privileged", but I can respect others don't want those labels. And I do take an issue with it when the context feels like a jab. I'm not stupid. I can tell the difference between "she is a cisgender female" in a factual tone and "she's a cis" in a condescending, belittling, and dismissive one depending on the context in the discussion. Gaslighting me won't change my ability to interpret subtext. Too often people use the term privilege like it's a character flaw and I can't help the reality that certain things out of my control have made my life better than someone else who also had things out of their control. I recognize it. I don't seek to abuse it. But people treat certain traits like a scarlet letter and I shouldn't have to bear that.
People enjoy inflicting pain on others as a source of comfort and it's heartbreaking.
There's a lot of hurt and I think we should talk about it so we can all grow and heal. But at the same time, people need to take a page out of Brene Brown's book: stop working your shit out on other people.

I can't understand why people are so mean in their comments. You obviously respect my gender and go to great lengths to walk this life as a woman, while recognizing that you are and always will be a biological man. I'd have no problem with you and would happily accept you as you are.....a beautiful, funny, kind, compassionate, understanding transwoman. Please don't let the haters affect you negatively. I am against most of the trans activists and I mean the ones that do not care using MINORS. I appreciate Alexis accepting the male DNA within and the respect for those who disagree with the transition part. I acknowledge the right to pursuit happiness without damaging others and for that I like Alexis. I despise those who states that a male can get pregnant or bleed because no XY can do that. So, Alexis is an ADULT, I am a woman and I like it and understand people might like to be something else than the way they were born. Actually, I think that EVERYBODY wants to be something else one way or another. I just hope that no regret develop because it is sad to see all those who regret it and realized they made a mistake and those who embraced them at the beginning, throws them and don’t support them any longer.

I find it interesting that the majority of the time I see people carrying on like this, it’s people who preach love, acceptance, and gender ideology, but as soon as you challenge the status quo, they start hurling the insults they’d crucify someone else for saying to a trans person. Marcus (TheOffensiveTranny) has shared quite a few videos with people doing just that.
Regardless of what they have to say, you’re stunning - beautiful inside and out.
I could see the comment about “disrespecting every woman in the world” really got to you. As a biological woman, I feel absolutely no disrespect from you, the people who are disrespectful are the ones like Lily Tino (sp?) and that person who said they wanted to get a uterus transplant so they could get pregnant and be the first trans woman to have an abortion.
As a biological woman who has suffered with PCOS and has been struggling for years to get pregnant and is doing the pre-tests for IVF, that person wasn’t just disrespectful of those things when they said it, they were vile.
You, however, are always gorgeous, gracious, kind, and NEVER disrespectful.

Hello. I'm usually a silent viewer. I was studying psychology when I first entered college. We learned there that people who are trans actually have (correct me because I forget if it's more or less) gray matter around their brains. In short, the gray matter around someone who is trans's brain is different. This is why trans was first put in the dsm5. Because the brain was different and gender dysphoria was seen as a real medical condition. When people who did not meet the criteria for being trans were getting denied medical access (such as hormones ans surgeries) these people began to fight to remove trans from the dsm5. They eventually won. Just a small history and science lesson. I'm sure you can also find this information someone in some studies or text books in local universities by you if you want to know more. I love studying so I always love guiding people towards more education. :)

Loving the jumpsuit Alexis. It suits you soo well. I’m soo glad you don’t give the hate comments any value as they honestly are just the opinions from either small minded sheeple, uneducated sheeple or people that are hurting themselves and choose to take it out on others to try and make themselves feel better.
I use to care what other ‘strangers’ thought about me then I caught sepsis and almost died. I was in a coma for 2 weeks, then had to learn to walk again, have multiple skin grafts etc etc and was in hospital for a further 2 months.
Since then I realised I placed way too much value on the thought and opinions of strangers. To the point where I stopped myself having fun because I thought, for example I didn’t look good enough that particular night to go out or things like that.
And after getting out of hospital the way I view things is completely different and I’ve never been happier.
As an example, I realised how silly I was for not going and enjoying myself with my friends because I was worried I didn’t look good enough that night. Because when I’m grey and old the people that were out that night are not even gonna remember I existed. But I’m gonna remember that I missed out on having fun with people I love.
So now I never let the thoughts and opinions of strangers stop me from doing things I want to do.
Obviously I still care about the thoughts and opinions of the people I love and care about but strangers… nope, never. Not anymore anyways.
And I truly believe everyone should think like this as it would honestly make soo many people a lot happier if they did.
It’s the same with ‘drama’ (let’s just call it) I now think, is this really gonna matter to me in years to come out am I gonna forget it even happened come next week/month/year. If I’m probably gonna have forgotten about it by next week then do I really wanna waste any time and energy on it. Again my answer is now, NOPE.
I can’t even think of a time since getting out of hospital where I’ve gotten into any ‘drama’ with anyone over silly things. If it’s something worth getting upset by then I will of course. I’m not saying I will never get upset ever again, (if you truly read what I’m saying) I just look at what is really worth it now and what isn’t. And 9x out of 10 it’s usually not worth it.
Anyways, Alexis and Liam, you are both amazing people and I’m so excited to see all the wedding stuff that you will be uploading come time off your wedding. Soo happy for you both. (I’m originally from york but now like in wakey soo I’m basically a neighbour lol)

Bro assumed, got it wrong and said nothing with his statement. I sent a message to a RUclipsr, living in Yorkshire, from the South, living with an Ex Rugby Player a couple of months ago, correcting his Grammar on one particular phrase he used.
So shocked at his response, it wasn't even that bad, one tiny Americanism he used, which Brit's don't use (but obviously we do now?, and he was overly upset by my comment).
It's the ex English and Drama Degree that fires my critique regarding bad Grammar, and I also make mistakes myself.

My point....if one puts oneself on a public platform, one should expect a little criticism,.
