Thanks for the upload! I really enjoyed watching this and was struck by the fact that anyone could learn to dance this way! It's innocent and fun, and making mistakes seems to only add to the good time! It would be wonderful if communities came together in this way today!
You would be surprised to know your area may have been look for folk dance society in your area or english traditional/contra depependent on where in the world you are. I just found one in my area for very reasonable monthly dances with free lessons before it begins

The English stopped doing this over 500 years ago and started doing country dancing instead ... which went on to dominate our dance and dance music across Britain and Ireland and beyond.

My wife, a Morris dancer in her younger days and a teacher for very nearly forty years, was delighted to see children involved.
