This was a really great TV show. I dont really understand why they cancel a show based on American viewership when the whole world also watches it.
You make a great point. But it's not as simple as that. For one, ABC is an American network. So the only viewers that matter are the ones in America. It's great that other countries are watching the show but those viewers benefit the show, not ABC. Also it's hard to track viewership for the entire world. So who knows how many people in other countries actually watched Ugly Betty.

I always hated Daniel and this is a new low for him but "how stupid do you think I am?!" With the sticky note following is kind of the ultimate revenge, it's fucking brilliant.
I don't. He's one of my favorites. If it wasn't for him, Betty would have been fired a long time ago. He did have a real heart and kept her by his side the best he could.

@@waiskuxxcap they both balanced each other out, daniel has done his fair share of sticking up for her when it really counts and going out of his way for her, when in actuality none of her motives benefited him she i admit did do a lot of the grunt work but when everybody was against her he was there to let everybody know that what he says goes and backed her up 100%

The whole point is that she goes from an ugly girl (who doesn’t care about looks) to be push by society to change into their ideals of beauty and then once she did that she realize she doesn’t have to be ugly or pretty she just has to have self love and self respect and she finds an in between and that’s the best ending for ugly Betty
